Great start for PSG absolutely. They are going to be the number one candidate for the title already of course. Clermont weren't a team that can hold them back in this match. PSG demolished them by 5-0. The league would most probably be easy for them again. We will see the other big teams of the league about how capable they are too. Monaco already started with a victory against Strasbourg in a quite tough match. They missed the second spot in the last moment last season but maybe they will do better this time.

It was very delightful to watch PSG in their first league game. Messi and Neymar were absolutely amazing in this one by scoring and making many assists. Their Barcelona spirit might be back now or I'm just exaggerating it because of being excited. 
I hope I'm not because PSG will need this spirit to win the CL title as well like some people already said here. When Mbappe comes back they will be much better. I don't know if he is injured now but I hope he can return before the CL starts.

Mbappe is not a defender, so why are you insinuating that if he played that game psg may not have won with a clean sheet, it is not mbappe's job to stop opposition from scoring, it is his job to score goals, so i can't understand how his presence might have made Clermont score in that game. It's a great start for Messi and from this, I think Messi will have a better season than the last one. At least he will be able to score more goals than in the past season. What Messi experienced in the past season is weird. So many shots hit goal bar or pillars and rejected too many goals for Messi. There is no surprising result for PSG as expected. They erased Clermont by 5-0. There was a big quality difference between these teams of course but it is important for boosting their morale anyway. Mbappe had an injury but it didn't change anything for the team thanks to the great Messi - Neymar work. It is awesome to see them starting to play like in their Barcelona days. The team will expect to see this in the Champions League also as it is the most important part for them.

PSG performance in ligue 1 is not in doubt at all, galtier or pochettino and even whoever the coach if still with the existing squad as it is today PSG will remain the ruler in Ligue 1, as long as there are no strong and rich rival teams in ligue 1 then domination PSG will never be broken, I don't think PSG will have a difficult season in Ligue 1 like the previous season but for the Champions League competition I think they still won't will be able to get the trophy
