I agree that there’s a 99% chance that PSG will be winning this league again, and with Messi returning to form it’ll be a major boost for the club hence other teams will have to step up their game to delay PSG from winning the title. Furthermore if Neymar remains fit for the entire season then he’ll be unstoppable, and after the opening match it’s clear to see that he’s playing with extra motivation which is only bad news for the other team’s.

No doubt these three teams won their opening matches with a very good goal margin and we can clearly see that they came prepared for the new season. As for who will win the League this season, I see PSG as a contender for the league am not going to say they will win it because it's too early to decide whether they can maintain the form and quality performance they displayed in the first game of the season   and Marseille, and Lille too may stand as a major challenger in the league that is if they continue to perform well and win matches. The combination of Messi Neymar and Mbappe in the attacks makes PSG unstoppable in every match but most times things may not work out as planned due to a drop in form and injuries.

Even though it is very likely that PSG will win the Ligue 1 trophy again, at least I hope that several teams can give maximum resistance.
So it looks like what you said Ligue 1 will look more interesting to watch. If when PSG beat Clermont with a big score, I can still understand it,
because Clermont is on a very different level from PSG. But when PSG faced some strong teams in Ligue 1, I would like to see teams like
Marseille, Monaco, Lille, Lyon and Nice able to put up a fight against PSG. It doesn't matter if it's finally defeated by PSG, but at least don't

Right but let's face it, the problem is this: if a team really manages to compete with PSG over the course of a whole season for rank 1, it usually doesn't mean that the other team was super strong. What it usually means is that PSG was super weak. And that in turn is something nobody wants to see either. The devil is in the details here. There was one season when Mbappe became the shining star. Monaco was REALLY strong that season, no doubt. But given the squads on paper, a season where PSG is not going to make it must be an awful season to watch (in most cases) when you actually are a fan of Messi, Neymar, Mbabbe and alike to celebrate their superstar football.

They have literally inf amount of money and they were reported to FFP many times, including twice at least by Barcelona, but AFAIK, the situation in France is different from Spain. The way of counting the spending per season is different or something like that, I forgot exactly, but Ligue 1 is way easier to avoid problems comparing to La Liga where the rules are harder.

That's mainly because he is more used to the team and the tactic feels a lot more closer. If you keep using messi like this then he is going to score a lot more. Weird thing is, the striker is not used a lot in this case and Mbappe may feel the hurt for it later on, not going to be great year for him unless he creates goals for himself and we all know that he could do that anytime he wants so it shouldn't really be a big problem to be fair but not designed for him.

Messi-Neymar-Mbappe trio will have a field day in the league this season for sure, not all games will be 5-0 of course but they are going to be doing pretty well, even if they lose the next game, I will not stop thinking this way because I already saw what they are capable of.

Psg is very good and the league is theirs to lose, but i think we can ask for better competition, even if we all know the outcome will be psg winning the league, but the other stronger teams can give the viewers something to cheer and look forward to, it is too straightforward a pattern which makes the league boring, but if we get to watch teams come a little bit close to psg and make them sweat, then more people will be interested in the league and it will get more popularity than it has now. Teamwork was very strong in the first Ligue 1 match of the season, PSG's game was more cohesive and mutual trust between players. Neymar contribution was extraordinary when his team won big against Clermont, Neymar managed to donate 1 goal and 3 assists in this match. Neymar maturity was increasingly seen when he provided 3 assists which were successfully utilized perfectly by Hakimi, Marquinhos and Messi.
PSG's performance has been very entertaining, they seem to prioritize the team over individual records. Galtier must be able to maintain harmony between players for the next match, especially in the Champions League stage.

You can look at it from the other side: it's not PSG that's good (I would say it's bad because it's bad to be a cheater), but the control of the FFP by the corrupt UEFA is very bad. Yes, although there are other teams who are also in good form at the beginning of the season but they will not be able to be consistent throughout the season, in contrast to PSG they have the ability to be consistent with the squad they have. So yes, even though the Ligue 1 title race is not competitive but Ligue 1 still provides great competition for Champions League spots. If the rivals you mention can also be consistent throughout the season then the title race will happen but I personally don't really believe they can do the same as PSG did.

Paris SG is too good a team for this league. So no matter how good Marseille and Lille are, Paris SG is the strongest contender for the title. I'm thinking of Paris SG as they won the league by a wide margin this year. We saw once again how good they were in the match where Paris SG won 5-0 in the first week.

Messi performance on this season looks promising after he was success scored two goals and one assist on first match, I think he will have different performance and result than last season. Actually I brave for predicting with Lionel Messi become top scorer on Ligue 1 although looks still early because just have one match only on Ligue 1. Lionel Messi have adapt with Ligue 1 culture and atmosphere, right now he know how can adapt with Ligue 1 games and can consistent keep showing the best performance for goals and assist contribution with PSG.

Well, PSG's pre-season was in Japan and really many critics gave Neymar their all, they had no compassion, I know that Neymar sometimes exaggerates a lot in his plays when some other player puts his foot in him and he falls, but I think that this time if they captured him and criticized him so strongly that on his twitter he also answered them very harshly and also let them know that all his life he had never spoken out, but he said it was time to break that silence and defend himself when they accused him of something that he was right, the unfair accusations is what he reacted to (according to him) I think he is a public figure and star, sometimes calmness is needed and I don't think so many people should mess with him, I already think he is becoming something that is going much more than sports.

I agree 100% with what you said. The reason I actually watched some of the PSG game is not because I thought it's going to be a real thriller between two strong teams I just wanted to see how the offense if PSG is actually doing and indeed, Neymar was also strong. I would love to see another strong team in Ligue 1, at least one real contender. But everything goes according to normal, everyone knows the outcome before game day number 1.

I don't expect that to happen anytime soon and the sheikhs don't care about the attractiveness of Ligue 1 either because as you said, the only thing that counts is the Champions League. I guess it is very similar for the superstars too. Sure they like playing soccer, but really, Messi, Neymar,  they have had more thrilling games in their career long before.

Psg, lille and marseille teams seems in a really good shape they all Win comfortably i know psg will still likely win the ligue 1 but still if there are multiple teams in a great shape we will see a more exciting season, messi and neymar duo seem to be working well and when mbappe join it will be the strongest psg attack ever.

What I liked the most about the first game day in Ligue 1 was actually the shape in which Messi has been. That was really promising for the rest of the season. The last season I felt that it might be finally over for the biggest genius soccer has ever seen, but that game was full of dribblings, clever passings (the one to Neymar in the back of the box), and also his goals. Really refreshing to see that and I truly hope we'll see a Messi who may not be as good as in his old days, but still can be the sneakiest and most intelligent player on the pitch.

People who do not watch the games would say that it was an expected result. But, people who did watch the game will say that they played better than expected, even though they were expected to win, they still managed to beat the teams and that's an important thing.

I believe that we shouldn't be shocked to see Marseille being second team this year if they keep it up. They do not have players who are superstar potential people, but they do have players who know their roles very well and playing very well too. What I think will happen is that they will most probably end up with a good result but probably end up not being as good as this game in the long run.

I also hope that there is a team in the French league that can compete with PSG so that the atmosphere of the league is more exciting, not dominated by just one team as happened in the Bundesliga (Bayern)
