that's a really good beginning of a season for PSG even without Mbappe, Ligue 1 is still not really concerning the team and the fans, there no big competition for it, Messi is getting more comfortable with PSG, and playing alongside Neymar really helped because they know each other pretty well.

It was an absolutely amazing performance. I was blown away by Messi and Neymar's duo! There were two goals and one assist for Lionel Messi, while Neymar contributed a hat trick of assists and one goal. Both Messi and Neymar are regaining their best form. It was a very spectacular night. We want Neymar like that. It is absolute magic when he and Messi are together at their best. Messi smiles and laughs at training, now he is doing wonders. Especially with the world cup just around the corner.

Bayern won with 5 goals difference in Bundesliga and PSG responded with another 5 goals difference victory in Ligue 1! As you said, that was a perfect start and will make fans wonder how far PSG will go in CL mainly.
For Monaco, they ended their game with 2 goals to 1 vs Strasbourg. A tough match with a good reward for Monaco but also for the ones placing a bet on it.

Paris with 18 shots on goal and 5 are in. That good and nearly every 3 shots was a goal. And yes, they will be champions in France this year, i don't see any team that has a chance to beat Paris. Maybe when they have a bad day, then they have a chance. It was nice to see that Messi was the player that so many missed last season. Neymar and Messi: simply brilliant.

Lionel Messi started with two goals and an assist. He showed that he is much better than last season. Neymar scored a goal and had three assists. Paris Saint-Germain played one sided in the match. They didn't have any danger in their goal. It should be nice to start with a clear win and three points. They will be champions again this year.

Pretty clear that psg wanted to win this match fast. But let's face it, the championship is no longer a challenge for this team. Supporters don't even expect a championship anymore, it's something that's a certainty. They can become champions in the league winning all matches, if they don't win the Champions league again then it's a failed year. But this thread is about the competition. It's just a matter of time to see which teams can hook up with PSG for as long as possible.

PSG ran away easily with a 5 nil victory over Clermont, Neymar was at his mesmerising best along side Lionel Messi who seemed to be perfectly fit at the moment. Messi with two goals, and Neymar was more at the causing damage with his set of assists. You've got to pity Clermont's keeper he made 7 impressive saves despite given up 5 goals, If not, this so easily could have gone double digits.

Lyon is not as good as they used to be once upon a time, this game was exactly how it suppose to be and nothing more. I would say that the best thing to see here is the fact that game was entertaining and that matters, as long as it is entertaining there isn't anything else to see.

Lyon or Ajaccio, in the end it is not really a big deal because we shouldn't be really considering the current levels of teams as permanent, it is just the first week and everything could change and on any first week game on any league, anything could happen and we should be welcoming that since it's common. PSG could end up losing like 3 in a row from now on, and I wouldn't be shocked, as long as they win the title in the end.

The game has only been running for 10 minutes and PSG are now 1 goal ahead thanks to Neymar's goal.
This will probably be more than 3 goals there I think because Clermont's defense if you look at it at the moment is quite fragile, now it depends on how they defend because if they defend worse than expected then PSG I think will have a goal party there.
