No coach can guarantee victory in the Champions League (although it seemed to be Mourinho before, and by the way, it would be funny if the sheikhs remembered this and invited him to coach PSG). Even City, who dominate the Premier League year after year miss that title even though they have a perfect (or close to it) line-up for selection of players and excellent interaction between them.

No coach can guarantee the title. A good gameplay is needed to win the title, at the same time I think good luck is also needed. They cannot win the next title after dominating the Manchester City Champions League each season. However, PSG's match strategy and formation was very weak this season. Despite consistently poor performances, the coaches did not change their match tactics. And so if PSG can recruit an experienced coach, and have enough star players in the squad. Then their performance will increase manifold.

It is difficult to talk about the next season and the impact of the new coach, given the fact that the squad with which PSG will play is completely unknown. Even the departure of Mbappe will change the position of PSG very much. Now this is the leader of the team and the one who leads it forward, the rest of the players are much worse in terms of efficiency and I don’t know who can replace him. But even this season, PSG were really bad, I remember how they started the season as one of the favorites to win the Champions League but then their quotes fell to 1 to 10.

The competition for third place will continue, Strasbourg managed to beat Rennes and in the other match Monaco also managed to beat Nice. Now there are three teams that have the same points and even though it's not a hunt for first and second place but still. As the season is coming to an end and they still have a tough competition for a better place, then the rest of the season will be even more interesting with a stiff competition from them.
From tradition of candidate clubs for the third position, I would like to pick Monaco for that position. Monaco will know how to manage their resources for both Ligue 1 and Champions League. They might more possibly get good results in Champions League than other clubs which don't have past experience there.

It has been a few seasons since the successful one with Mbappe, Bakayoko, etc. and Monaco finally come closely to Champions League again.

Monaco, the team with the best performance in recent weeks, has been winning every game for a long time. They even won a match against a strong opponent like Nice. That's why I think Monaco is the strongest candidate to finish 3rd in the league.
Also, their opponents in their next match are not very strong teams, so I think they won't lose points for a few more weeks Smiley

One of the things that I really like about the French league is this. Third place is very important and the French know it, the fact that Mónca is doing well can leave it in 3rd place, it is well known that PSG is already the owner of the league, but taking into account everything that Monaco has struggled I think should give the league a better look.

Just thinking that they can dethrone Rennais is something that can happen, they are just a few points away, but as I said before, Rennais knows their need and will not let them down.

I'm also thinking that Pochettino won't be able to maintain his existence at this club anymore. After he failed hard in the Champions League, I don't give much chance for him to stay longer. We have always talked about the Zinedine Zidane possibility but it is still not clear. We still don't know to whom they are the closest these days. Maybe they haven't even started negotiations with anyone. But in my opinion, Zidane would be one of the best choices for this team. He did good with Real Madrid before and I think he might do well with PSG also. But maybe he would need some important changes in the lineup too in case he is brought to the manager position.

It would be great if Zinedine Zidane went to PSG, but the only way for him to go is under his demands, and I think it is very likely that one of them is that CR7 was in the team, and quite possibly Benzema (bearing in mind that Real Madrid did not renew his contract due to his age) however I am a believer that PSG will not sit idly by, they will look for a coach who can take advantage of all the potential of the players they have.

From the look of things i don't see Zidane becoming the next PSG coach because the young man has shown his interest in the France national team and with the current information about the France coach leaving the team,i think he is in better position to replace him.
Probably Zidane is waiting for France national coach position and if he get opportunity now, he will take it. Some reasons why I think Zidane will not reject opportilunities to become a coach of France national team.

France has a good generation of players now. If Zidane waits for next 5 to 10 years, he might not have as same good players as what he can get now.

Zidane already is a successful coach in club career. He won La Liga and three Championd League with Real Madrid. So it looks good if he debut his career as a national coach.

It's true that until now rumors about this are still sticking out to the public surface and Zidane also doesn't deny it.
Because if he wasn't after that, he couldn't have refused a series of big clubs who wanted his services last season, even though he bravely left Madrid at that time.
I personally really liked the way he managed especially when he was at Madrid and I would be quite happy if he returned to work now. but if he is still waiting for France then indeed there will be no other way but to wait again and again

PSG wouldn't wait for Pochettino's contract to expire indeed. They didn't become successful in the Champions League and they were even eliminated by Real Madrid in the early stages of it. This is of course unacceptable for the team as they were aiming to win the title. We expected so much thing from the Mbappe-Messi-Neymar trio but they weren't very effective all the time. Mbappe had a far better season than them. And he is leaving this summer most probably. The new manager will need to work hard to make this team much better than before.
Although Pochettino managed to bring PSG to lift the French trophy this season, the club has issued a statement that Pochettino will be terminated by PSG, most likely 3 other players will follow Pochettino's steps, we'll see if the coach who replaces Pochettino is able to bring PSG lifts the champions league trophy,
I am sure that they will work tirelessly to get Zidane. He is known to manage team filled with superstars and bring success to the club with three in a row UCL wins under his belt. This will of course mean that he will ask for a lot of money but who can pay it but PSG?

To consider that he is from France as well makes it even smarter, and his son plays in ligue 2 as well which means that he would love to be closer to him as well, hell at this stage PSG could get his son a better contract on a better team for sure. All in all Zidane is the clear choice. If he is not available and just straight up rejects, then Conte would be a great second choice for sure.

Meanwhile, Zidane is indeed the most suitable to replace Pochettino, because Zidane is experienced as a Real Madrid coach. Zidane managed
to bring Real Madrid to win the Champions League trophy 3 times, it has proven that Zidane is the right person to replace Pochettino. Moreover,
Zidane is also used to controlling teams with many star players, so Zidane should be able to control the star players at PSG. Not to mention Zidane
and his family are definitely more comfortable in France, so there should be a very big chance for Zidane to replace Pochettino.

But according to rumors, Zidane is reportedly more interested in replacing Didier Deschamps as coach of the French national team. Hopefully
the PSG management can convince Zidane to accept the offer to become PSG's main coach, because many PSG supporters agree if Zidane
becomes PSG coach. But there are also rumors that PSG management will choose Antonio Conte as an alternative if it fails to convince Zidane
to become PSG coach. And I think it's a very good choice, we'll see at the end of the season who will replace Pochettino.

Still not any rumor with Zidane as new manager for PSG trough Pochettino position still not safety after failure on champion league as first target for PSG how can get this trophy. I think still waiting when season ended although Pochettino success got first trophy with PSG as domestic league still not guarantee keep extended on PSG. Have different situation if Zidane waiting for become France head coach he will miss chance become Coach on club because World Cup event held on October and all league will begin usually on August in this years.

PSG are the champions and it is clear that Marseille are going to finish the season at the second place too I think. And for the third place, I'm thinking about Monaco to make it. And Rennes would follow them right behind but the gap between them at the end would be very close like now. I really admire how Monaco have gathered themselves up in this season so far. They didn't have a good start and it was actually a terrible one compared to last season. But they have made up for it really great.

I think that Marseille have already guaranteed their spot in the league if we think about it realistically. There is a six-point gap Rennes and Monaco and I don't think that any of these teams can catch up with Marseille in four weeks. But there is a big rivalry for qualifying for the Champions League now among four teams especially: Rennes, Monaco, Nice and Strasbourg. There is only a three-point gap between Rennes and Strasbourg even there are two teams between them. It is going to be lovely to follow the remaining games.
this might be obvious by now but no one knows even if the chances are slim there is still a chance there because they could stumble during a few games even though it seems like a miracle for other teams but this might still happen as long as the possibility is still there maybe Monaco and Rennes Still praying for it to happen over the next few weeks

Anyway, PSG has good quality main and reserve players, so PSG is obliged to win the most prestigious title in UCL or at least PSG must stay longer in UCL at least until the final match. Therefore, PSG basically just needs the right coach and doesn't need to buy any more star players. So yes, if Pochettino is not sacked or replaced then PSG will only triumph in Ligue 1, whereas with a squad like that PSG can go further in the UCL.

There is no such thing as 100% certainty in football. We can only give predictions by keeping the strong team ahead. Although the coach plays a very important role, he can never guarantee to win the league title. Overall team performance throughout a season is must to achieve good result.

Congratulations to Paris Saint Germain for securing the title for the season. A draw in the last match against RC Lens, with the addition of one point confirmed them as the winner of the trophy, although there are still four games remaining but their points can no longer be won by Marseille, which is their closest team in the standings.

I believe anyone who trains PSG, which famous or ordinary coach will get the Ligue 1 title because PSG has the best materials squad. Maybe for this time, Pochetino has to finish his contract in PSG and move on to another league or back to England. PSG has ambitious to get the Champions League title after Pochetiono makes Tottenham as Finalist, but it was not the expected if got the Ligue title only which ordinary coach can do that.
Agree with what you say because it is very possible when whoever the coach is then with this squad depth it won't be too difficult to win domestic titles, but it's not enough for the current owner. from the start their target was the Champions League and when the coaches can't carry it as well as any strong in the domestic league it will still be considered a failure

Pochettino is most likely fired from PSG coaching because Pochettino did not manage to create chemistry in the team, some reports say the PSG lineup does not have a good relationship with each other, PSG will most likely bring in Zidane to coach PSG next. this season, because Zidane can build good chemistry in the team, it is evident when he coached Real Madrid, he managed to win consecutive champions league titles.
