Lille vs monaco is an interesting game today monaco team seem to be the favourite which is true considering the ranking and the recent results but i think this game is tricky lille team always perform well against top teams and they usually don't lose i think we will see a draw.

Obviously, if Monaco wins this they will jump up to the second spot in the league standings but that will also mean them playing one match more than the other teams and for Monaco to stay in the second position, The other teams above Monaco surely need to lose.
I think they have the potential to end the season in third place at least.

Maybe the group stage is not guaranteed but not impossible at the same time. Monaco and Rennes are the biggest favourites now and I think Monaco might win this race.
I don't see much potential in Rennes and it's not to belittle it, I actually like the way they're doing it, but the potential I see in Monaco is greater, perhaps the way they play and counterattack is what also makes me lean towards Monaco , but this time I would bet on them.I have also been seeing many things that have happened in football, the surprise in the Italian league that the Internet could not win, neither Barcelona in Spain, Dortmund in Germany, so there is a possibility that due to the mood Rennes could give the surprise, is something that I still do not rule out.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there tomorrow's match between Brest and Strasbourg too?These two teams are not the top teams. But it looks like Strasbourg will have to win the match if they don't want to be overtaken by Lyon or Lens? The competition for points is very tight.

Tomorrow there is only one game which is between Lille and Monaco. In this away game, I still think that Monaco can beat Lille. And they need to do it if they don't want to be left behind by Marseille and Rennes more by this week. These are very critical weeks as there are three weeks only left. Monaco have improved their effort and form a great deal so far and reached the third spot. From now on, they have an important job like maintaining their current spot in the worst case. But they would attack for gaining more positions.

Marseille may have missed the chance last week, but they are not going to give it up so easily, they will probably get it this week for sure. There is what, 3 games left? I believe that in that 3 games they won't lose more than 3 points to get caught, they will probably get like a draw or something eventually when they guarantee it, but they will probably guarantee it this week when they win and if Rennes loses.
It's very weird feeling however to see Lille nowhere at the top. They are at the tenth position and barely at that as well, this is the team that won over PSG last year, they really crumbled apart after last year and when they sold most of their players.

Monaco are definitely going to be favoured in their match versus Lille away. Whether it is away or not, Monaco would be very close to winning it anyway. Lille are really aimless now and it wouldn't be easy for them to resist Monaco. Monaco need to continue winning matches to keep their chance for the second position. They mustn't lose their focus even a bit to continue doing this. They are already on a superb winning streak.
Monaco is a very consistent team. On the other hand, Lille is a good team but their performance is not stable. Monaco has won all the last 6 matches. And so Monaco favorites against Lille. Monaco's players are in very good form and they are still very confident. If they can maintain this winning streak, they still have a chance to move up to second place in the table.

Marseille really have difficult matches ahead of them in the rest of the season. And Rennes seem to be the most serious opponent for them. Because they are only three points away in the standings at the moment. And playing a home match is going to be a big advantage for Rennes too. I honestly do not think that it is as shocking as people claim the game to be. Yes we usually wait a much better result from Marseille when they are a lower level team but at the end o the day this is Lyon, the team that won it like maybe 10 times in a row or something, sure nowhere near that level anymore but it is something to behold and it is an important situation to be in for sure.
This just means that we have seen Marseille not caring anymore, they will most likely finish at the second position anyway and they do not have anything to care about anymore. Maybe they may drop to third but that is unlikely so we will see them not care too much.
