PSG will suck. They went out against Lille in the French Cup yesterday. Still surprising. They don't even have to do everything to become champions in this competition, because it will be easy for them. Provided they start playing with a B team, but I don't see that happening. PSG it also little value to the competition I think. There is only one goal and that is to win the Champions League. The only question in the competition is how many points ahead they win.

The Lyon vs Marseille game tonight was a really nice one. We have witnessed a competitive game and a big comeback in the late minutes of the game. Marseille were doing well by keeping their 1-0 score advantage. But they were helpless while we were getting close to the final moments of the game. Lyon put a great effort into the game and finally turned the game around. But if I'm to be honest, I think that none of the teams were too dominant against the other. So, I wouldn't be astonished to see a draw either. Lyon must be happy with the level they have lately in the Ligue 1.

PSG got kicked by Nice after 0-0 draw and playing penalties where they failed to score 2 of them out of 6. Ironically Nice goal, which is on loan from PSG, was the one kicking them.. What a mess, dunno if pushing Mbappe from the beginning could saved them but definitely PSG isn't OK
Meanwhile Nice will face OM... That sounds the final match rather than a quarter-final one.
PSG had to be eliminated in the Coupe de France of Nice after the two teams drew at 0-0 and normal time and Xavi Simons missed a penalty which saw PSG go out early. Even though Lionel Messi played since the early minutes of PSG vs Nice but there was no effect at all with Messi's presence and he failed to score a goal in 90 minutes of normal time. It seems that Lionel Messi is not a good signing for PSG because he has only scored 1 goal this season in Ligue 1 and 2 goals in the Champions League but the expectations of PSG fans are still very far from Lionel Messi.

PSG is a team without much motivation, they need a coach who starts to punish each player when he is not doing his job well, the situation cannot be left as it is at the moment, for example

because PSG keeps neymar knowing that neymar plays little:

they practically play a lot of games at a time without neymar, so neymar is not important at PSG
The weird thing is, they are such a great team that they could play without motivation and they are still doing awesome. Are they winning games in the league? Sure, are they doing fine in the cup? Sure, are they doing fine in UCL so far? Yes. So far, they have been doing exactly what they needed to do and that is good enough for them, obviously they really want to win UCL and that is something I can see them doing if they are good enough for a period, but even if they fail that, beating real would be enough to call it a success if you ask me.

A league title, plus the cup, plus something like quarter finals or semi finals would be a good enough season for them, maybe they would want more but it wouldn't really be a bad situation.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
Tonight the overdue match between Lyon and Marseille will take place It will be very important for both teams, due to the fact that both are in good shape recently and the result of this match may have a significant impact on the final balance of power in the league table. So there will certainly be plenty of emotions. I am counting on an interesting game and a lot of goals, I bet over 2.5 goals

It looks like your choice to choose a goal bet above 2.5 is a wise choice, because based on statistics on google, we can see that the chances of winning from both teams are almost the same, this indicates that there will be an exciting show in this match, but if asked choose who will win, of course I will choose Marseille. They are more favored here even though they are away.

Players like Messi, Ramos and Donnarumma have been kept at PSG with high wages to perform well in the Champions League. PSG does not need to spend so much money to win the Ligue 1 title. Their goal is the Champions League. Therefore, in all the matches of Ligue 1, Messi is not given the opportunity to play the full 90 minutes. Messi has been included in the squad to perform well in the Champions League. And he has played well in every match of the Champions League.
this is very true, we all look too much at the statistics of all PSG matches played by Messi in all competitions even though some star players like Messi were bought by PSG to be able to win the Champions League, therefore if you look at all the players at PSG, their abilities are very evenly distributed in all positions I think that's the strategy of the coach or club management to be able to maximize the players in different places.

Messi has only been included in the squad for the Champions League. Even Messi himself is less interested in Ligue 1. He has probably scored just one goal in Ligue 1 this season. He also took a few penalty chances but did not take any penalty kick in the Ligue 1 match. He gave Mbappe a chance to score. However, in the upcoming match against Real Madrid, the PSG team will rely heavily on Messi. Messi must play well in this match. Real Madrid is his old enemy.

Another day, another disappointment for PSG. I didn't even recognize the names of those who missed the penalties, but this was a huge upset no matter how you look at it. UCL is all they can look for now, Ligue 1 is not enough.

And about Messi stats, he is no longer carrying the weight of the team on his shoulders. I think if you dig into the stats more, you see he contributes more to the team's playing style now, no longer is he counted on for goals, nor should he be.
I was too confident with PSG to be aware of other possibilities that made my bet only end in defeat in this match.
the absence of the usual brutal attacks. the lack of opportunities that occurred during the match and indeed they played monotonously and only played the ball in the middle of the field.
with a performance like this I'm not even sure they will be able to win in the UCL later. although indeed in this match their line-up is mostly substitutes but I don't think I can expect much with them in the UCL if they set a match like this

I'm seeing that the game has been postponed, something very sad, does anyone know if this is true or is it just google fault?

So I think PSG has already got the expected performance from Messi.
Judging from Messi's playing statistics and goals it is very clear that the contribution given is very large in the Champions League, I think it is very good with what PSG has planned from the start that the target of signing Messi and several other star players is to win the Champions League.

There is a really interesting game tonight which is Lyon - Marseille. Bookmakers were favouring Lyon by a very little margin first but now they have changed their minds. Marseille seem to be a little more ahead according to them. When it comes to my opinion, I think that Marseille are the closer team to win this game. Maybe it can be a really tough and close game but they can make it as long as they keep being fully focused on it. Because Lyon are way worse than the previous season now as they are one of the middle-placed teams. But Marseille are a fighter for the second place in the standings now.

Lionel Messi's stats are very poor with PSG this season, from 44 shots on goal Lionel Messi was only able to score one goal in Ligue 1 domestic competition, with the status as the world's best player being Lionel Messi's worst performance in his career because he was only able to contribute one goal only so far for PSG. But there are still a few games left and it proves can Messi get up and catch up with his goals this season? or Messi is getting dimmer in the remaining games.
messi's appearance at psg was not as expected, but messi managed to play well in the champions league, maybe that's the reason the club still keeps messi at psg, the reason psg psg recruited messi to get the champions league title, because psg is very insistent on getting the league title champions, when it comes to the league, psg doesn't really want messi's services, because even without messi psg can get the league title, if only messi gets the champions league title, you can be sure messi will get praise from fans, all the insults received by messi will be praise..

Maybe the match was not so important for PSG, but such a defeat against Nice is very embarrassing. They failed to score a single goal, despite having an experienced goalkeeper like Donnarumma, PSG lost on penalties.
The PSG team has yet to find their best formation and strategy. PSG should change the coach. PSG's management should try its best to appoint Zidane as coach. The PSG squad has a lot of experienced players, now they only need experienced coaches.

Of course, with the quality of the players that PSG have, it's a disappointment to lose on penalties against Nice. Although Nice is not a weak team,
and now Nice in Ligue 1 is in second place behind PSG, but PSG should be able to beat Nice. Lionel Messi played from the start of the game but
couldn't score or provide assists, even Mbappe was included in the 64th minute, still PSG could not score a single goal. I agree with you that
PSG's problem is with their coach, Pochettino was not experienced at handling big clubs before, so Pochettino was difficult to control the star players
at PSG. My suggestion is that PSG should look for a coach who is used to dealing with big clubs, Zidane who once coached Real Madrid was
a good choice. I doubt even Pochettino can make PSG win the Champions League trophy this season.

Oh yes, Paris Saint-Germain put to shame all the experts and ordinary fans who predicted him to win the match with Nice and finished his way in the French Cup at the 1/8 finals stage Wink It is quite unexpected that the current cup winner completed his journey at such an early stage, especially playing at his home stadium. On the other hand, it is quite natural that this winner was Nice, which takes second place in the championship standings and is the closest pursuer, albeit with a gap of 10 points. The cup system is quite unfair when the first and second teams of the championship already meet at this stage. On the other hand, with such a composition, Paris Saint-Germain must solve the problem of winning against any French team, especially without bringing the fate of the match to a penalty shootout.

Well to be honest PSG did dominate the match against nice and they actually should have won.

But I don't understand how they have failed to score, It's actually a shame. I really don't understand with this type of squad how can a team not score. Meanwhile, we were thinking about PSG beating Real Madrid  Cheesy.

I have to say a well-played on NICE's part because there took the game deep where they actually had a chance of winning.

St.Etienne should have won that game for sure, a few more wins wouldn't really be bad and they would have earned some money, even sell some tickets, so it was something nice to get it. However, when you have no hope, players go out there with no hope and that results with unexpected losses.
Seems they don't have the motivation and just give up Bergerac to win and I also look at them in 2nd half even though have 70% ball possession nothing special with Dupraz's scheme because everything is raw. Agree with you, when the player quitter, the audience is unwilling to come to the station and affects their income. just wait and see, Ligue 2 is welcome to them also.
