It wasn't an exciting match, but it will probably be a good one to see Messi score in Ligue 1. PSG are very likely to win today away vs Lorient and that's to be expected with a big score as well. Teams like Monaco, Lille, Lyon and Marseille are very unstable indeed. For example, Lille won the Ligue 1 title last season. But now, we see them having a terrible season. This is because they don't have a lineup full of world star players like PSG. This prevents them from being consistent about their title competition. This is not fair for this league like the Bundesliga. We need to be seeing more competition.

Exactly. There are no consistent team in this league except PSG. This is mostly because the remaining teams don't have a very solid squad like PSG as they are not as rich as PSG. However, the other teams you mentioned can't even be consistent about finishing at top positions in the standings. They are generally ending seasons being far away from the leader in terms of points.

Right now PSG have quite a quality squad and it would be absolutely impossible for any other Club to stop PSG's current dominance in the league, and even after seeing the difference in points that are quite far from the club in second place, to be honest, I started to stop to watch the league 1 match right now, because there is no longer any competition going on right now in the French league and it is certain that PSG have succeeded in locking the championship trophy this season.

Exactly. There are no consistent team in this league except PSG. This is mostly because the remaining teams don't have a very solid squad like PSG as they are not as rich as PSG. Their head to head was dominated by draws and I don't see Nantes having a chance to win here, even though Etienne are bottom of the table but I still believe Etienne can put up a fight and make the final result a draw. Indeed, Nantes look better but I think Nantes are good only when playing at home and as such, it is possible that Nantes will maximize this opportunity to get full points, but honestly I have doubts about that.

You are right. PSG has no opponents in Ligue 1 to win the title. Marseille, Lille and Lyon must be strong and well-organized if they want to make Ligue 1 better and more competitive. If the clubs do not improve now, they will lose more spectators.

I think it's a bit redundant to make such a judgment, but maybe that's just your opinion. Ligue 1 is one of the league in Europe today where all the team there have very fanatical supporters of their favorite team. Without star players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe then I think they will still get a lot of viewers around the world for one reason that this generation of players will be replaced by the next generation in the years to come.

In certain situations, I think PSG players are not experienced enough in the Champions League so they always fail to win titles. Real Madrid is a the strong one opponent for PSG this season in the Champions League. Proving which one is best will take place in February, so speculation these two team now probably won't do much good considering it's still too far from show day.

@slaman29 totally agree with you Messi doesn’t like controversy he likes the game, and the very fact that he knows Lewandowski should have won it says it all about his character. Also now it looks like he’s settling at PSG, and as I said earlier he’s the one of the key man standing between Real Madrid’s victory.

Well for now Messi what he has done does not seem bad to me, he is a person who deserves the best things, he has fought for that, and his talent is something unique that he always shows us, but PSG I see him very slow, he does not understand the ideas Messi or is it that Messi does not understand the team, usually this type of players is difficult to have when you do not know how to treat them or what to put them on the court to do, sometimes it is better to tell Messi to do what he wants to do in the field, because the genius that he can do sometimes by the mandate of a coach cannot be done and that cuts off his magic, the same one that Pep Guardiola did if he let him do it.

It is really interesting that all of the matches of the new week are going to be played at the same time tomorrow. Maybe the reason is that Christmas is near us and they don't want to leave any match for a later date. Because after this week, we aren't going to be having any matches until the 7th day of January. And it seems like PSG have another easy match against Lorient this time. I don't expect them to make a mistake here.
