What a shame for Monaco that they couldn't manage to beat even Lorient tonight! They already started the season badly by drawing with Nantes home, 1-1. I thought that they would win this game at any cost and boost their morale. But the opposite happened. Lorient got 1-0 ahead and succeeded in keeping the score at it till the end. Monaco increased their attacks so many but they still were so clumsy to score. Lorient players and the manager must be very happy about this result. I don't think that they were expecting to win the game before it started.

I am not sure whether Mbappe stays or not, looks like they are doing fine, and we do not have an "official" source yet, its all "sources say.." stuff and we all know how wrong they could be, and if they win the league, the cup, the ucl and super cup of both nation and uefa, then how could they end up losing these players? I really do not think that Mbappe will go if they end up winning everything, how could you leave a club that does that. And if anyone has a chance to do that, I think PSG is the one right now, this season they are that good.
However, if they end up not being able to hold Mbappe and he leaves? Then the plan is to put Ronaldo and Messi on the same team. PSG will have enough money to get Ronaldo next season if Mbappe leaves, and yes neither player is at their peak right now, but they are still stars and that will definitely bring in a lot of money to them.

Tonight, we are going to have Lorient - Monaco game. On the first week of the season, Monaco drew with Nantes 1-1. And Lorient also drew with St Etienne with the same score. But when we compare these two teams in terms of strength, Monaco are way better than their competitor of course. They had a great season last. They ended the league at the 3rd place. Now as they didn't have a good start, I assume they would like to obtain a victory in this one. I think that they will win.
The Monaco team is much better than the Lorient. Since they shared the points in the first match, they will try their best to get 3 points from this match. They play very stable football, I am completely optimistic about Monaco's victory in today's match. I'm betting on Monaco's victory today.
Now, it looks like we could get a very surprising result at the end of this game. Lorient are still leading it 1-0 and they scored it by a penalty. And we are in the last ten minutes now. Monaco are actually dominating the game in general but they are having a big problem to score. They got a draw on the first week and they are really close to lose this time also. I'm expecting Monaco to beat their opponent in this match. They are a way more qualified team than Lorient. Lorient barely were able to stay in the league. They were only two points up the risky zone. Monaco beat them 5-2 in this stadium in the last season. They can get another comfortable win in this one.

Lorient-Monaco is opening the second day of Ligue 1 and it'll be played tonight.
Monaco started their journey in this edition of Ligue 1 with a not exciting 1-1 home draw against Nantes.
Lorient, on the other hand, drew 1-1 at Saint Etienne.
I predict an entertaining game with at least one goal on each side, although Monaco should be able to win and earn three points.
From what i ve seen in the first round i think monaco team will win today but it wont be easy they really showed good performance specialy on the defensive side and the draw from the corner kick was an error but they really controlled the game on the other hand nice performance too from lorient offencively but they have some defensive issues they need to solve in this game. There are plenty of star players in the team, and coach Pochettino needs to create bonding between players before sorting out match strategies. The UCL title cannot be expected if the players are not properly coordinated. The bonding between Messi and Neymar is very good. At the same time, both Messi and Neymar can play well with Di Maria. Even though Ramos has ego problems, but he will think of Messi as a friend now. The only problem with the team is Mbaape. He may want to score alone, he may want to be the best scorer in the league. We have to admit, the PSG team is much stronger than the current Real Madrid. If Mbappe wants to win UCL then PSG will be a better choice than Real Madrid. The PSG team can now be considered as the most powerful team in the world. Now the only requirement is to coordinate the players of the team.
On paper, there is no doubt that Paris Saint Germain is, by far, the greatest team of our decade. But having great names require to have a great environment and, most of all, an outstanding Head Coach and sorry to say but Mauricio Pochettino is not a top coach.My question is if he will be able to manage all these big champions.
Also, the french ligue is not as competitive as the other european leagues.
For sure they will win their league but UCL is not going to be easy even with all these great players.
I second that as this dressing room is full of egoistic individuals, and I don’t know if Poch has it in himself to manage these fragile egos. Also Mbappé maybe wondering if he stays he’ll be under Messi and Neymar shadow, but at Real Madrid he’ll be the superstar so I would understand if he left now.

It's not surprising to see that their odd for being the champions is not very low. Because teams like Lille can't make it to the title in this league consecutively easily. Because PSG are far better than all of their opponents. And they have strengthened their squad even more now by signing Lionel Messi. But we can try our luck of course by betting some money on a different team to become champions.

However, Nesser Al-Khelaifi said they were not interested in releasing Mbappe right now. However, if Mbappe does not want to stay in Paris, they will bring Ronaldo from Juventus.

I agree with your opinion, even though a,s monaco will succeed in controlling the game, but they will be difficult to win because considering that Monaco coach Niko Kovac will not be able to use the services of Benjamin Lecomte, Adrien Bongiovanni and Jean Marcelin due to injury.

It will be an interesting match between Lorient Vs Monaco, I have a feeling that Lorient will win this match based on the handicap, or a win for Monaco with a very small result.

As Messi is officially a PSG player now, I wonder whether he will be able to adapt to the team quickly. If he doesn't have any problem with playing with Mbappe side by side, then there will be no coherence problem. He has already played with Neymar at Barcelona so I haven't even mentioned him.
