Monaco team performed really well and in my opinion the final result was a bit unfair for them they deserved atleast to score on the second half psg on the otherhand keeps geting points but without a convincing performance considering the squad they have.

I predicted Lille to defeat Lyon but they couldn't succeed in doing that. And honestly, it was a really poor match that I got bored and closed the match after watching the first half. And I don't regret it as there was still no goal at the end of the match. Lille were on the rise actually and they would have beaten Lyon too. Despite having a poor form, Lyon still resisted Lille and got the point they wanted.

In the opening match of the week, Nantes defeated Lens 3-2. The winning goals for Nantes came from Kolo (2) and Simon in the 90th minute. They were behind 2-0 in the first half and made a very good comeback. congratulations nantes

The Rennes vs Nice game was another delightful game of the weekend. And Rennes got a disappointing loss in their home game by 1-2. And I think that Nice were lucky at the same time. Because we can clearly see from the statistics that Rennes played much more dominantly. They had so many chances to score but only one of them ended by a goal. And this crucial victory helped Nice to close the point difference more with Rennes. They are one point behind them now.

I respect Messi, but he didn't do anything special yesterday. Even Mbappe didn't do anything special - he just did his job. Hardly anyone can say that Monaco this year can seriously compete with PSG, the problem of the French championship this year is not only that PSG have become much stronger than everyone else, but also that other strong teams are in crisis. PSG have a really extraordinary dominance in the Ligue 1 now. They hosted Monaco today and obtained another victory in their home game by 2-0. I thought like maybe Monaco would cause them to stumble considering Monaco's recent good form. But it didn't happen. PSG players were so determined to win that they finished the job in the first half. Mbappe and Messi are the best for them now. Their incredible efforts help them move every obstacle they come across out of their way one by one. And it seems like they are going to be the Ligue 1 champions by dominating the season completely.
Messi and Mbappe both had a killer game against Monaco, while PSG's performance was stellar! The penalty was given to Mbappe by Messi and he assisted him as well. Simply amazing. Both players are at the top of their game. If Messi scored, it would be spectacular. The continued contribution of Mbappe and Messi is always great to see.

This means that they can equalize the score anytime also. But if PSG act before them and score the second one, I don't think that Monaco would be able to make a comeback then. We know how strong PSG are when they have a great deal of advantage. It is not easy to turn the game around against them in such cases.
Even though Paris didn't really deliver in a convincing way recently, I still believe that they will take this game home. Monaco is by far not as good as they were during the last season. In fact they are much weaker and I don't see them contending for the CL qualifiers either. We'll see how the game ends today, but my guess is a win for PSG. Now, French League is getting shape which is mostly in favor of PSG with some good lead and for other spots we will have very good fight as Lille is also having some better results recently after very poor start of season with Marseille is also improving their fight for second spot which is mostly belonged to them but for other spots we will have some good fight between some good number of teams with good players and some want to improve their squads they are spending money and bringing quality players for French League.

Paris Saint-Germain has widened the gap in the league. Despite being a tough opponent today, they easily overcame the Monaco obstacle. They scored two goals from the first half and played very comfortably after taking the lead. I expected a reaction from Monaco, but they didn't show any presence. Mbappe added two more goals and showed that he is in great form this season.

PSG sealed the deal in the first half already by scoring two goals and capturing a big advantage against Monaco. Mbappe scored both goals and Messi made an assist also. In the second half, Monaco tried their best to score the goal that would have given them a big hope for an equalizer too, but PSG were able to maintain a 2-0 score until the end of the game. Btw, I really like Messi's performance recently. He's started to play much better as he is getting accustomed to the team.

An unexpectedly easy victory for PSG, previous games taught us to be nervous because PSG snatched victory in the last minutes, and today everything went according to the usual scenario for a top club - getting a comfortable advantage in the early stages and bringing the match to an end. This weekends football has seen a lot of penalties, nice one for Mbappe converting that opportunity easily into a goal and putting PSG in front early against his former team. Many will argue that he should have let Messi take it, but i don't see any reason to. Messi has won it all, and the likes of Mbappe are the future and need all experience and confidence boosters they can get.

The first match of the day is Lille - Lyon that seems to be a really nice one. Considering the recent forms, Lille should be favoured here. But there is not a wide gap between them in terms of points and strength now. However, Lyon couldn't have beaten Lille here for five years which is really huge. This is an important psychological predominance for Lille and they could benefit from this and win this match by a one-goal gap I assume.
Lille 0-0 Lyon. I find the actual result fair but the actual position of Lyon is weird regardless of the lacking game.. PSG - Monaco game started, PSG is favourite in paper especially after getting 2 consecutive draws. Meanwhile Monaco didn't lost in their five last games. Fingers crossed!

Perhaps this makes sense since the coefficient is quite good - 1.47. By the way, this is rather strange considering that this will be a home game for PSG, and the fact that Monaco is playing very poorly this season.
