Lille really disappointed me by the result they got against Clermont. They had a good run like three consecutive wins in the Ligue 1. Clermont were really terrible on the previous weeks and they seemed like an easy target for Lille actually. An in-form Lille should have been able to defeat them. But their performance was not good enough for even drawing with their opponent. It is not good to see the last champions like this but I still understand them. It was even like a dream that they won the title in the last season despite PSG.

It looks like PSG are currently regretting their decision to sign Ramos in the transfer market , how can it not, until now Ramos has not even played to strengthen the PSG defense and actually Ramos was scheduled to make his debut match against anger but apparently the injury returned and forced Ramos have to go back to recovery.

exactly, When he was on peak form the club had to offer him a huge salary. But now that he is not playing many matches and is injured a lot playing in France doesn't seem like a good option to me for him. But teams like Chelsea or Liverpool won't be able to afford him and his salary. So only Real Madrid seems like the option for him but I don't think they are interested in him.
The pandemic restricts clubs to do big transfers and pay too high salary for their players. They have to pay money more wisely and avoid financial collapse. Real Madrid are constructing a new stadium which does affect their financial budget for salary and transfer.The latest lesson from Barcelona will make other clubs exclusively Real Madrid have to think twice, think more carefully when they want to make a big transfer.

In the other important match of the week, Lyon beat Monaco 2-0. scored goals in the last 15 minutes. Still, both teams fought very well. In the last match of the league, Marseille defeated Lorient 4-1. The quality in the French league has been constantly increasing in recent years.
Even the second goal, from a penalty is controversy. I agree that the quality of Ligue 1 is improving because the last season, do you remember how PSG won against Barcelona 4-1? with a hattrick from MbappePSG will have a better league to play weekly and it will help them to improve themselves and become more competitive in Champions Leauge.

I honestly don't see why neymar is still at PSG, besides he doesn't play almost anything all season, he doesn't score many goals at PSG, he has a good performance in the Brazilian team. i think neymar would be in teams like barcelona (ex his team) or real madrid or chelsea or city due to the style of play that is similar to his style of play. Just look at what's happening to messi on PSG, Is how if messi isn't even on the field when he play
Yeah he would be happier if he stayed with us at Barca but he was younger then when he left, and he wanted a new challenge, so can't blame him. And to prove he was the best, he wanted to help PSG become champions (half achieved but not in Europe).
I don't blame him, but I also don't feel like he doesn't deserve his place there.
His problem now is his price tag and salary. Can go up, hard to go down:)

I expected a tougher competition in the Lyon - Monaco game. But it turns out that Lyon were the dominant side and finished Monaco by 2-0. In fact, Monaco had a better form than Lyon before this game and I expected them to play even better than their competitor. Monaco must be wishing to forget about this loss as soon as possible by getting a decent result in their next game.
I really regret including this match in my parlay, I made the choice or bet on over 2.5 goals. Surprised indeed, because I was very confident about both teams to score but the fact is, even the goal was only created in the last 15 minutes of the game. Lyon could dominate the game it was clear and unfortunately, it didn't look like Monaco could capitalize on the opportunity he created to turn it into a goal.

How can Monaco forget that, I don't think so, they've met 5 times from 2019 to 2021, Lyonnais has always won from five meetings, only once, Monaco won in April 2021, yesterday it broke 2-0, last Saturday was answered again 2-0 Lyonnais won.I think Monaco never learns to look for Lyonnais' weaknesses, I'm not sure Monaco in the next game can beat Lyonnais, they will meet again 06 Feb 22 next, Monaco still has 5 months to train harder if they want to beat Lyonnais, otherwise don't expect.

Although PSG managed to dominate the match and beat Angers, PSG had to concede first in the first half. Even PSG just ensured victory in the 87th
minute through a penalty. This is not a good thing, because with the quality of the players that PSG have and play at home, PSG should be able to
win easily. Looks like Pochettino hasn't found an effective strategy yet, hopefully in the next match PSG can show a much better game. For the other
big matches, it is not surprising that Lyon actually beat Monaco, because the head to head of both teams was indeed Lyon is better. What surprised me
was the big victory for Marseille, it was an important victory for Marseille who had previously lost twice in a row. With this victory, Marseille is in
the top 3 and makes the morale of Marseille's players increase, because Marseille will face a tough opponent in the next match.

PSG's clash against RB Leipzig will be without Neymar because he was injured on Brazil's international duty. I will miss him, since he is still one of the best players in the world. Ever since he joined PSG, he hasn't played an entire season without getting injured. This guy and injury are living together and have cursed his career. I wish him a speedy recovery nonetheless!
Reportedly he has a muscle injury and is currently being examined by the medical team how severe the injury is, with the current squad, maybe Neymar injury will not affect the PSG squad too much, because PSG still have many replacements for Neymar who are no less good, in that match of course PSG will continue to rely on Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi as the center of their game on the front lines.
I admit neymar is a great player but to be honest I really hate the drama (diving) he often does when getting tackles from opponents.

PSG's clash against RB Leipzig will be without Neymar because he was injured on Brazil's international duty. I will miss him, since he is still one of the best players in the world. Ever since he joined PSG, he hasn't played an entire season without getting injured. This guy and injury are living together and have cursed his career. I wish him a speedy recovery nonetheless!

The coach does not or cannot fulfill his responsibilities properly. Neymar is not able to play well in PSG. But he is talented. The coach should keep an eye on him. Finding out why he didn't able to adapt to the team. But despite Neymar playing for PSG for a few seasons, the coach has never closely watched him. I think the coach is responsible for PSG's poor performance.

In PSG, Neymar is less important than Mbappe. When he joined PSG, he is a biggest star there but Mbappe grows too fast and after the World Cup 2018, Mbappe is the biggest star at PSG, not Neymar. That is one of reasons Neymar wanted to leave PSG and reunite with Messi in Barcelona.Because Barcelona can not bring Neymar back, he wanted to reunite with Messi in PSG. Fortunately, it happened but Neymar is unprofessional, and after the Coppa America, his body has too much fat and that limits his contribution for PSG.
In Brazil, Neymar is a biggest star last 10 years, after the era of Ronaldinho, Adriano and Kaka. Anyway, he is not too young and after the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, Neymar did not have too much impressive performance in big tournaments for Brazil.
Leandro Paredes, Sergio Ramos and Mauro Icardi will be missing too for this match. It seems Leandro Paredes is encountering a quadriceps issue, Sergio Ramos is recovering from a calf problem and Mauro Icardi is dealing with serious problems with his wife Wanda Nara.
Ramos does not have any match for PSG but he can help them after he recovers from injury. Paredes and Icardi don't have good positions in the club and their absence won't affect PSG too much.I believe one simple reason is no wants to buy him, because it would require a $150 million or more to prize him away, and on top of that add his wages and agent fees, so it’s easy to understand why he’s stuck with PSG. Furthermore even with these player’s absent PSG have a very strong squad and they’ll be able to manage without them, and probably win games with ease too.

Lyon won against Monaco on Saturday, which became their second winning in their last 5 matches. Although, Monaco lost the match, but their performance in the game was good. They were able to draw the match until Lyon got a penalty kick in 75 minutes, which Toko Ekambi scored. While Denayer scored the second goal with the assistant of Emerson. They now have 16 points and in the 6th place on the Ligue 1 table. However, Lyon have to work more on their defense, they have conceded 13 goals in 10 matches.
It was a good game from both teams but lyon were more dominant they created many chances i think it was the best game for them so far they have problems against weak teams they conceided 7 goals in their first 3 games but then they got better which is understandable considering the new players who joined the team.

PSG shows once again why they are the leaders and why they are going to be champions this year as well.
I get that they are not going to be winning every game but they are going to win every time they are playing some team that is as worse as Angers and it was obvious if you ask me because they are so better even with players missing.
I wonder when Ramos will come back and I wonder when he comes back will he be as good as expected. Real Madrid did a great idea by sending Ramos as well because they needed a defender and he is still not around and that is understandable if PSG fans are disappointed by this situation as well, they are going to get him on the half of the season only.

Lille got their fourth loss in the Ligue 1 this season. I was expecting an absolute victory for Lille this time as Clermont were one of the most out-of-form teams. But Lille were just helpless against Clermont here. Clermont scored in the first half and it ended by 1-0. In the second half, Clermont wanted to secure a 1-0 win so they started giving the ball to Lille much more. But still Lille weren't able to score even one goal. Burak Yilmaz was suspended because of yellow cards. He scored 2 goals and made 2 assists in the league so far. That was also bad for Lille but their performance is just not good enough to climb to top places for now.
