And he is facing more injuries after joining PSG. However, Neymar was needed in the squad against Leipzig. Leipzig is not a weak opponent. In this match, PSG will rely entirely on Messi and Mbappe.

Its expected when their total squad value is way over the other team. If anything Im actually quite surprised that they lost 1 game against Rennes even when they had Messi, Neymar and Mbappe in the field, it was totally uncalled for because they could have won the entire league this season without losing any match at all

A narrow victory against Angers at least makes them have a difference of 9 points from Lens. They weren't with Neymar and Messi yesterday. I think they are recovering, Pochettino doesn't seem willing to take the risk he wants both of them fit for the UCL match Wednesday.

This. Last season, PSG aimed at Champions League and hoped that they will win it after a failed final two seasons ago. They lost ambition in Ligue 1 after winning it in many years. This season would be different, after they lost it last year, they will not let other teams take the title again. They want to prove they are the King in Ligue 1, this season.

Ligue 1 has been the PSG-only show for quite a while except for the last season which was a close one. PSG is already 9 points ahead of Lens who is in 2nd place. Considering the budget they have to spend this had to be normal for them to dominate the league every season. This is what I hate about footballs, clubs are literally buying trophies with money. PSG might have more money than every french club combined. So unless there is a balance in the spending in the league, you cannot expect other teams to win the league.

I am not sure what is the big surprise to see PSG winning 9 matches, they played well and won the games and they only lost one match and a single draw. I said Montpellier can make surprises. Then I said it is ridiculous to see PSG's opponents like Lens and Nice dropping points easily. Even OM is dropping points except this game against Lorient where they won 4-1.. They will face PSG next weekend BTW, we will see what they could do Wink

Recently Marseille are going down in quality just because of this now they are much behind Leaders PSG even they have one match in hand, but gape is too big for them and their Europa form is also very poor in last match they held by Turkish club at home which is also serious issue for them. Currently, PSG is doing some good but with other teams they are much ahead in quality which is just because of big spending in transfers.

French League biggest issue is money which is not coming like PSG so if they have this solution then surely with some good quality players they can give some more tough competition to PSG but right now it's not possible for any other French club.

Honestly PSG played "okay" at best. Just because they won the game doesn't mean that they were the better team, we are talking about clear difference between the levels of two teams and this should have been an easier game for them. I understand that it doesn't look like a proper situation and there were many players missing the game so that is why PSG was weaker this game.

However even with those players missing, the players that played in the game still 10x better than the players on Angers, or at least on paper that is. When you watched the game, it wasn't like PSG was clearly better, it was more like they were close levels teams when in fact we know that they are not even remotely close. Hell put Mbappe on Angers and it would be barely close, I would still favor PSG a little bit more, they would be head to head in that case with PSG only a slight edge, but we know Mbappe is at PSG so it was a weird game for PSG to have so much trouble.

I don't know what's going on in PSG's back line at the moment, for sure when in their game they seem to lack communication between defenders, besides that they seem to be too easy to let go of opposing players both in marking and duels.
should be with the condition of the players who are all adequate and can be said to be tough defenders for big teams they should be better.
to be honest in terms of defense I prefer to see nice than PSG
