PSG will definitely defend the title without a doubt, they are going to end up with a much better result and because of that I have a big amount of respect towards them and hope that they will do fine. I do not think that we are going to see what could change at the moment, but for the time being we could safely assume that it could work out well in the end for them, shouldn't really be an issue at all.
I can see how things could change, we could see how PSG is doing "differently" without Mbappe, we can consider them a weaker team in a sense, but as long as they win the league which I am 100% sure that they will, that is just ok for them to be weaker. They are winning exactly what they won with him, without him, so why would that become an issue for them at all? They are doing fine and because of that we are not going to end up seeing how to change anything at all, it is going to be a fine situation to be in and they have the money to try and get better later on.
So far PSG is still safe in its position in the French League, even its two rival teams, Manaco and Marseille, have had enough difficulty maintaining their consistency in their 12 matches. So, it seems that PSG is still safe and still leads the top of the Ligue 1 standings. Talking about defending the League title, Paris Saint-Germain has a chance for that. Moreover, so far PSG is the only team that has not experienced defeat. Without Mbappe, PSG is still a productive team in Ligue 1. Although, their performance is not good in the Champions League. I would not say that PSG is weak, in fact Enrique needs a reliable center forward, especially for competitions outside Ligue 1. More precisely for the Champions League, because the existing striker cannot meet expectations to be a reliable player in terms of scoring goals. I don't know whether Enrique will be retained or not if in the end they fail to qualify for the next round of the Champions League, but for Ligue 1 their probability can be said to be high to defend their title this season. I am pretty sure that PSG will improve so that their team is much stronger, especially since they always hope to achieve success in the Champions League. By the way, today PSG will host Nantes and they should be able to secure full points in this match.
