We know that there has been a major change within PSG's squad. The best player of the squad Mbappe is not with their squad. But as a result of this, do we see the deterioration of PSG's performance? PSG have played three matches this season. And the performance of PSG players in all three matches was very good. PSG won all three matches. This shows that Luis Enrique has been able to stabilize this team. While the squad lacks any star players, Enrique's squad has a number of talented players who are capable of performing well. So PSG will probably dominate Ligue 1 this season as well.



It is true that PSG management has changed their tactics this season. In the last few seasons they have spent a lot of money building up the squad. This season PSG spent 59.92 million on Neves in midfield and 50 million on winger Doue. Besides, the team spent 40 million on defender Pacho. All three are young players. So maybe PSG management can sell these players at a higher price in future.

From the market value of players owned by PSG, we can easily guess why they will continue to dominate Ligue 1, with or without star players. PSG real target is to win the Champions League trophy, automatically with the squad they have built, winning the Ligue 1 trophy will be easier. Marseille, Monaco, Lille, Brest and all other Ligue 1 contestants will indeed put pressure, but in my opinion they can only do it temporarily. Entering the second half of the season, we can see the standings formed again with a point difference, and PSG is at the top.

That's what makes a team the best in the world, of course, in the UCL, but another thing is what they can show in everything that a local league means, Ligue 1 is good, yes, it has an acceptable level of football, but they have to be much stronger, better in every sense, if they continue like this the fact of not winning the UCL will frustrate the owner, the owner has always wanted a UCL, of course it is the dream of every team, but this one that has had the resources and has not been able to do it even at its best, so, I think that if they had had Luis Enrique when that trio was there that was scary, would they have won a UCL ? And at this point I see it difficult for PSG, but not impossible.

We have seen PSG fight for several titles - Ligue 1 title and Champions League trophy many times before, and each time they have only failed in the Champions League and not in Ligue 1. In their home league they have everything under control and no matter what their squad is, with or without the main players they are somehow a bit stronger than many clubs, so I don't really believe in a Marseille win, but they have a chance, at least that's why the match is interesting

This cannot be said to be entirely the fault of Mancehster United because after all what happened to Greenwood we must be aware that regardless of the results he is guilty or not there will be a lot of people who will sneer and even shout at Greenwood when forced to be at Manchester United so actually this decision must still be taken even though it is forced.

But on the other hand we can see that with De Zerbi as a coach and Greenwood as a new targetman for Marseille, they are very good in terms of performance to date.
De Zerbi's foresight in making schemes also makes Marseille players more alive for now and that is a good thing because with this there will at least be another competitor for PSG even though they are still favorites for Ligue 1.

Thinking it's unlikely for PSG to decline sounds funny to me because before the next fixtures between them and Marseille, they have got probably a champion's league fixture aswell as other league games which could possibly wear them out so it's very likely a decline can happen of most probably they get to have a bad day and Marseille turns out lucky. I'm not nor saying it's not possible, for PSG to still maintain their form without a decline but there's so much ahead to give them an unlikely chance except the coach will have a very dynamic strategy he hope to use so as to keep that in check. Interestingly, both teams happens to be tops in ligue 1 currently.

You seem to hope that other teams will be able to beat PSG at all costs, even though PSG also has a good squad to be more likely to ruin any plans of its competitors. No team has really been as consistent as PSG in Ligue 1 so far, so even though Marseille looked good at the start of the season, they haven't proven they can beat PSG.

PSG is a team that can continue its title dominance in Ligue 1 and I think they are the favorites to do it. Other competitors can certainly put pressure on PSG, but PSG, which has been quite good so far, is unlikely to sit back and accept defeat. Luis Enrique as an experienced coach can certainly help PSG secure the title again this season, even if PSG is very preoccupied with winning the Champions League.

So it is no more Ligue 1, lol, successfully turned into a geopolitics get together..  Now the whole clubs were paid for being this shit and PSG could steamroll the Ligue

Yeah and maybe someone needs to tell them that they should try to improve the quality of the competition in the league instead of just farming money. Because for a long period of time, the Ligue 1 competition has been the same. No team is actually improving and nobody is able to compete at the same level as PSG. And that is probably the reason why nobody is actually interested in watching any league matches in France. It's like PSG is the only team that is being backed and that’s the way it should be according to the authorities.

Expectations for Marseille are quite high this season, especially after they appointed De Zerbi as their new manager, and successfully recruited Mason Greenwood from Man United. I think these two deals have changed Marseille face in the competition for the Ligue 1 trophy this season, they are expected to be a team that can suppress PSG dominance at the top of the standings. Of course, the gap in PSG strength with other contestants is still very visible until now, including Marseille. However, considering that Marseille only focuses on domestic competitions, they can take advantage of the tight match schedules of teams participating in European competitions.

At least Marseille consistency can make Ligue 1 more competitive, revive the competition in the top four, and disrupt PSG dominance so that they are not alone in leading the top of the standings. We know that PSG has a fairly high chance of retaining the trophy, but it is not impossible for other candidates to become champions too. The miracle that happened in the Bundesliga last season could happen in Ligue 1 this season, because the ups and downs of performance will definitely come to every team, even though PSG has a much better squad depth than other contestants.

I don't think Marseille will be a big problem for PSG in their next meeting. From my observations, trying to compare their performances currently, Marseille is not as strong as PSG. PSG may be playing in different competitions, just like Marseille, but the only difference is that PSG may wish to focus more on the Champions League, as they are always eager to win it. However, I don't think it will distract them much, as they still have quality players on the bench that can form another good squad. In fact, even if Marseille comes close to PSG on the table, with not much difference in points, it will still be hard for Marseille to take the top spot from PSG.PSG has been the team dominating Ligue 1, and I think it will be rare for any other team to take the title from them easily, because even looking at the teams in Ligue 1, none can spend as much money to sign quality players as PSG.

In fact, Greenwood is a player who basically graduated from Manchester United's academy and thus, it means that Manchester United did not sign Greenwood from another team before. So, there is no big cost that Manchester United to have Greenwood because before too, the fact that Greenwood was loaned to Getafe until the end of Manchester United sold him to Marseille. But indeed, who would have thought that Greenwood was still young but Greenwood managed to quickly make a big contribution to Marseille at the start of this season.

Because after all, from the three matches Marseille has played, that Greenwood has always managed to score goals in each match, and make Marseille currently also in second place under PSG in the Ligue 1 standings. With the good results that Greenwood has at Marseille, it proves that Manchester United have never succeeded in utilizing the potential and great talent of the young players they have. Because after all, previously Manchester United also failed when they still had Sancho because in fact, Sancho had a good performance at Dortmund and at this time, Manchester United's failure was proven when Greenwood managed to have a very good performance with Marseille.

The tight schedule owned by PSG should be well utilized by the current rival teams, considering that the depth of the squad owned by PSG is no longer as  capable as the previous season, so it is likely that PSG's concentration will be divided later when they have to play in ligue 1 and also overcome the pressure in the Champions League.

Even top teams have terrible days. PSG arent invincible, and the Champions League will put them under strain. PSG wants the big prize, therefore they may rest their stars in Ligue 1. Marseille must act there. Keep the pressure on, stay close. Marseille must be ready to strike when PSG slips, which they will.

Lets not dismiss them yet. This season is long, so anything may happen. Marseille needs constancy. They must keep grinding, build up points, and capitalize when PSG turns to Europe. This is a marathon, not a sprint. And the Ligue 1 title race might be exciting.

There are still 5 matches before they meet each other, so it is possible that in those 5 matches both clubs will experience changes, either for the better or otherwise, whether it happens to Marseille or Paris Saint Germain, although it is unlikely for Paris Saint Germain to decline because their strength is better than almost all the clubs in Ligue 1. Until the last 3 weeks, Marseille has been quite promising, especially in their front line. However, they did that when facing a club that is not like Paris Saint Germain. At least that is a good capital for Marseille in the following weeks. I also hope they can improve even more, I don't dislike Paris Saint Germain, but I want to see the competition be even tighter in Ligue 1.

It is indeed quite difficult to catch up with PSG where they have the advantage and have never lost, and to rival them is quite difficult, it's just that maybe being the second line in the standings can be possible for Marseille, the Series match against Reims did make Marseille unable to be side by side with the same points, but enough in the second row is something that Marseille might be able to get, waiting for the match directly against PSG I think in view of the current situation they are not necessarily able to face PSG, but it is not impossible for them to get, as good as they can draw against PSG, if they win it will be much more extraordinary.

Under Marseille's shirt, Mason Greenwood is exploding strongly. Greenwood is a really good player. He wears the number 10 shirt, and England seems to be producing a lot of good number 10s these days. He gets away from defenders very quickly and scores goals with unpredictable style. Greenwood seems to have found his true self when playing for Marseille.

Greenwood has great potential for development. Unfortunately, the star born in 2001 is boycotted in England, after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend. That is the reason why Greenwood cannot have a future at Old Trafford. Mason Greenwood is a big regret for MU, a player with many commendable qualities and plays well with both feet. In terms of pure quality, I wouldn't be exaggerating to say that after the first three games, Greenwood has probably been the best performer in Ligue 1. He should dream of becoming Ligue 1's top scorer and further aspire for the European Golden Shoe.

The scandal created by Mason Greenwood while still at Manchester United required his name to be crossed out of the squad and this made him sidelined in the Red Devils squad. Even though everyone makes mistakes and here Mason Greenwood has become more mature since then but unfortunately Manchester United did not see that and only the interests of the club's good name that they uphold. Honestly it doesn't matter but considering their performance every season is always in a mess and throwing away talent like Mason Greenwood is a big mistake.

Now we can see Mason Greenwood is much happier after leaving the problematic team and with Marseille he is enjoying every minute of playing given to him. It is certain that as long as all the players are in prime form and supported by adequate strategy from De Zerbi they can win the title. At least if not Ligue 1, I see them being able to win the Coupe De France and take it from PSG.

In a first season with without-Mbappe-PSG, if other clubs in Ligue 1 can not beat PSG and take the trophy, they will need many more seasons to do this. Because it's a big change in PSG and if they waste this season, a next season PSG will adapt better to play without Mbappe and be able to continue their domination in France.

This season is a biggest chance for other French clubs to take advantage of this big player resource loss in PSG, to beat this giant and make Ligue 1 less boring after many years under PSG domination.

They are rich but they have restrictions from financial law and their transfer strategy seems to be changed entirely in two latest summer transfer seasons. PSG no longer seriously chased star players with very high transfer costs and lucrative salary demand from players. They are still playing well in Ligue 1 but this strategic change obviously gives other clubs in France more chances to beat PSG.

The Red Devils has made a huge mistake by sending a great talent like Greenwood away from the team. This guy is playing like a goal machine these days indeed.    He is a RW but it doesn't matter. He is performing like a striker. Marseille has signed him for only 26 million euros. It is like free considering how much teams are paying for talented players in general.

If Marseille achieve some trophy this season or have a strong finish in a tournament, I'm quite confident he will play the biggest role. Maybe even after one season Marseille might have difficulties in keeping him for longer. 

IMO, it's not really that the team depends on PSG. but rather making Mbappe a player who is able to score goals. he is a fast runner, has the talent and instinct to score many goals against the opposing team. therefore, his teammates on the field always try to find Mbappe and supply him with the ball, either in the form of assists or providing through passes so that he can run fast and score goals. usually, most coaches will take advantage of the advantages of their players' individual abilities. and as we all know, Mbappe has that talent and skill. currently, Paris Saint-Germains prioritizes group play. team cohesion and cooperation are more important points, but more than that, PSG still has other wingers who are able to run fast and dribble the ball very well. not infrequently, they pierce the heart of the opposing team's defense. this team is still a strong team, the difference is that they don't have a player who is able to score at least 20 goals in one season. As for Ramos and Kolo Muani, they have not been able to show their performance as well as possible. Enrique does not only rely on the system, but also explores the individual abilities of his players. Last season Barcola's performance was up and down, in three matches this season he was better than before. I have not been able to determine the weaknesses of Enrique's squad, because they have not found a strong team when competing. In the Champions League, ideally they qualify for the last 16.
