In ligue 1, there is no other team that convinces us more to become champions than PSG, although other teams such as monaco and marseille are starting to experience improvements in their performance and quality, but they not have a strong enough mentality to break PSG dominance in ligue 1, PSG has a good enough squad depth to compete in the league even though they cannot do the same in the champions league this season, In my opinion, PSG chances of winning ligue 1 are very wide open, but not with the champions league this season, even with points and two remaining difficult matches of course qualifying for the play offs will be very difficult later.

A really tough game indeed. Monaco are really strong in home games with only 1 loss in 8 games. However PSG are also the second best team in away games without a loss in 7 games. But I must mention the 3 draws there as well.    When it comes to scoring productivity, technically PSG are way ahead of their opponent too. But their last head-to-head ended in a draw though.

Here it seems risky to bet on a side to me. Instead taking a bigger risk like BTTS & Over 2.5 goals @1.76 seems better.    I know that draw I mentioned was a 0-0 one but I want to act according to my feelings.

Monaco vs PSG
Two of the toughest teams in Ligue 1 face each other. Monaco have won only once in their last five matches, showing great weaknesses especially in defense and suffering clear defeats in the Champions League. However, Monaco is a team that manages to give their opponents a hard time in almost every match. PSG, on the other hand, have been more balanced and effective in attack. PSG's attacking line has the potential to turn Monaco's defensive problems into opportunities. Despite Monaco's home field advantage, their defensive discipline is lacking in such matches. PSG will control the game by dominating possession and will try to break Monaco's resistance with an early goal. Monaco, despite their lack of confidence, have the chance to score with their talented attacking players but will be helpless against PSG's strong squad.

PSG will always be the best club in Ligue 1, but this is talking about opportunities that other teams might be able to take advantage of to break PSG's dominance in the title race. The difference in points they have might open the way for Marseille or Monaco because the distance is not too far, but both teams must show the quality of their game to get consistent wins in every match, although this is difficult to do because there is no player support like PSG has.

This does require maturity in terms of club finances to recruit several players and even if they are unable to match PSG, at least the two clubs have much better squad depth so that they have the opportunity to compete for trophies this season and in the following seasons.

PSG have played 15 matches so far in France league where they are unbeaten but out of 15 matches they have won 11 matches and they have drawn 4 matches. If they had scored 12 points in four matches instead of scoring 4 points in four matches, their points would have been much more. PSG have drawn consistently in the last few matches although they still have more points than Marseille, who are second in the points table. PSG must get back on the winning streak and increase their points further than the second-placed team in the points table. Even though PSG will end up winning the French league, PSG may not want to take the risk of having another team compete with them until the last match, rather they want to secure the league title beforehand.

This is a fact. As bad as PSG is, the club is still a top club in Ligue 1 and until now it has not been taken over by other clubs, yes even though Marseille and Monaco are trying, however, it seems they still can't do it this season. Moreover, both of them have not been that consistent in always getting big wins. But indeed, PSG has not been optimal lately, several times experiencing draws against ordinary clubs. and their abilities are really reflected in the UCL match, that PSG this season is weaker and less able to compete with top clubs from other leagues.

Honestly, Ligue One definitely needs at least one other team that can match the money spending that PSG does, would be amazing for them and could definitely help a lot without a doubt. Look at PSG and how they are doing at UCL, they may literally miss out on group stage, whereas Brest is doing better, see how teams who take stuff seriously looks, could you say Brest is better, of course not, but they take it more seriously. For PSG to take things seriously, they need another team which would put their title run at risk, otherwise nothing will be same and everything will go worse.

If you’re yet to see a big transfer in any of the clubs you’ve mentioned, don’t even bother to put any hope on them to be able to fight for the league title with Paris Saint-German. Paris Saint-German have dominated the league and are in a very good position every year for the league title without finding a more worthy opponent that can challenge and defeat them for the league title as Bayern Leverkusen did to Bayern Munich as of last season. Paris Saint-German dominancy in the Ligue 1 is not worthy of them been a better team in the champions league, that’s to show that a little more effort by this teams could get Paris Saint-German fall out of the league title that season. We need a more competitive league in the French league also and only if PSG is defeated for the league title are we going to see that happen.

If for example PSG does not pass the play offs, then maybe PSG will feel bored because anyway, when PSG still has to play in the Champion League that PSG still has good results in Ligue 1. So, I think it will be very boring for PSG itself because it will only focus on the domestic league where PSG will still have good dominance. So yes, I think it would be more appropriate for Enrique to really maximize the strength that PSG has to get tickets to the last 16 also in the Champions League.

Because anyway, basically PSG really needs a tough challenge and it would be the right thing for PSG to prioritize the Champions League. They got pretty close last season, at semi finals they were playing against Dortmund and they had plenty of shots either saved by the goalkeeper or hit the woodwork, they got very unlucky, otherwise they could have been at the finals, not that I think they could have beaten Real Madrid to be fair, but at least could have been one step closer and a few lucky stuff could have made them win.

This season they do not look even that close, I do not think they will reach semi finals, they are having trouble at group stages and there is a very real possibility that they may miss out and be outside of top 24, which is hugely disappointing considering how much they are spending each year. I can't really point out how much problems that could cause as well, they need to do a lot better for their future.
