I agree that they are not going good and also that they have managed to win that game from yesterday as they played away from home as well.

The match was very interesting, but unfortunately the match was not a draw after one of the NIce players had to take a shower early after receiving a red card from the referee leading the match. If they didn't play with 10 people I don't think they would lose, at least they could still get a draw. Getting out of the relegation zone is really an impressive move for Lyon as they now play at a very safe space, they are now three points away from relegation, their performance this season has been so poor they had to struggle out of the relegation which they currently at at the 13th position with 22 points after yesterday's victory.

Yeah probably that was the reason why Luis Enrique wanted to rest Mbappe against Lille. This is going to be a big advantage for PSG in their Champions League game for sure. 

It is good to see them being able to win games without Mbappe as well. But consistency level might not be the same as the time they have Mbappe. This is what PSG will need to get over in case Mbappe leaves. PSG still have a way better squad than all the other teams in the Ligue 1 even without Mbappe. But team play is the most important point. Otherwise you can have the best squad in the world but still have problems on winning bigger achievements.

Lyon is a team with a lot of history and they won't give up so easily. Nice has strong strength but they don't have consistency so it is very difficult to compete fiercely with PSG at the top of the standings.
However, all of this is quite realistic because PSG's financial strength is very different from other teams.

Nice are no more like they were at the beginning.    I didn't expect to see them losing to Monaco too but here we are. After this result PSG have gained a huge advantage while there are still 13 more weeks left. I mean PSG are always the favourite by far when it comes to a Ligue 1 championship. But for example the previous season looked more competitive thanks to Lens.

Nice can't compete in the same way because the number of goals they score is just too low - 22 goals in 21 matches. They should be more productive to secure decent results more often.

And finally Lyon managed to get out of the relegation zone! After experiencing very poor results at the start of the season, many predicted that Lyon would be relegated this season. But in the second half of the season they improved their quality little by little. I bet Lyon would get out of the relegation zone and my prediction was right. Lyon have quality and it's hard to think they will play in Ligue 2. Lyon won't be in the top 10 this season but I'm sure they will finish mid-table. A result that is good enough to improve their quality in the next season.

Montpellier team played well at the beginning of the game and led by 1 goal until half time. Lyon did not score any goals before halftime. However, Montpellier played poorly after halftime for which Lyon team took advantage of this opportunity to win the match by scoring 2 goals. Lyon has able to managed their winning streak yesterday that they were successfully to overcomes Montpellier with narrow scores and Lyon have to conceded in the first half by Nordin goal but this goal didn't make Lyon players panic because they still able to control the game and create some of opportunities to scores and Caqueret became an the hero of Lyon because with his goal Lyon can gets 6th winning this season besides that this result makes Lyon can occupy 13th place on league standings and it just open their opportunity to survive at Ligue 1 but next match will not be easy for Lyon because their opponent is Nice

For other match after through an 3 latest matches in Ligue 1 without the winning result finally Monaco can able to return to the winning ways again today that they had just beat tough team Nice and this result is successfully to cut Monaco gap points with Nice because Monaco only have 1 difference point below to Nice which is the team in the second place but for Nice this is their first loses at home in Ligue 1 and this loses too makes them has 11 difference points below to PSG

It is not surprising that PSG won the match against Lille because there is no doubt about PSG performance in League 1. They have been a strong club for many years so PSG victory is not surprising. Lille is also in good performed this season but it cannot be said to be able to beat the defending champions because PSG is very strong and will not allow the points that PSG will achieve to be stolen by other clubs so PSG is still trying to continues collected points to remain comfortable in League 1.

PSG dominance in League 1 is indeed a normal thing and no club has been able to break PSG dominance so PSG competition in League 1 is not too tough because they can still handle it well, but that is what makes it difficult for PSG to competed in the Champions League which is being held filled with big clubs, whoever the club is competing in the Champions League, the main target is to be able to surprise and win the title.
