The teams that are PSG's opponents in the France League are never equal to PSG, so other teams cannot compete with PSG in any season.
PSG are not too interested in Ligue 1 but with difference against Brest, 12 points more, assume they will win Ligue 1 this season even won't have to spend too much concentration in coming matches.

Quote
Apart from Ligue 1, if you look at Champions League or other tournaments, PSG does not have a very good record in those tournaments. PSG doesn't have a good record in the Champions League because the teams that are in the Champions League are definitely the best teams in their respective leagues so those teams are definitely ahead of PSG in every match and that's because PSG didn't do well in the UCL tournament.
They are strong in Ligue 1 and create fear for other clubs in Ligue 1 but when they play in Champions League, it's their turn to feel fearful when facing big clubs in Europe. They always have strong squad but their mentality is always weak in Champions League. They are strong enough to have good matches, score some goals, lead their opponents big enough to go to a next round, but after all they wasted all big advantage and lost a battle.

Quote
PSG have secured a quarter-final spot in the tournament where they face Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich are certainly favorites for the Champions League, so it would not be unusual if PSG's Champions League run ends in the quarter-finals.
If PSG want to win Champions League, they need to have strong mentality and don't consider that meeting Bayern Munich in quarter finals is like nightmare for them. I am sure no clubs will feel happy when facing with Bayern Munich in Champions League but if feel fearful, it's wrong.

I think the first game that ended 4-0 against Villareal is still something to look back on, but their recent performances are not very promising. The loss against PSG, which played with 10 players since minute 40' was already a big disappointment and shouldn't have happened. They can now probably bury their dream to qualify for the Europa League if Nice wins the next game. The gap would increase to seven points, which given how Marseille is performing at the moment would probably be too much to still make up for in the remaining ten games.
In my opinion, Marseille's victory over Villareal in the round of 16 was lucky for Marseille because at that time Villareal's performance was also unstable in Laliga and Marseille was able to take advantage of the first leg by scoring lots of goals so that in the second leg he only increased his total aggregate so he could qualify for the round. quarter-finals despite Villareal also winning in the second leg but the aggregate total was not able to match Marseille, and now Marseille has to face Benfica in the quarter-finals which is Marseille's next challenge.

The defeat against PSG was indeed a bit painful because Marseille was playing at home and their opponent had also lost 1 player but Marseille also couldn't do much against the French giant and he had to accept defeat at home, his decline continued until now against Lille Marseille lost badly 3:1 and 1 goal achieved by Marseille was due to an error by a Lille player who created an own goal.

So overall, Marseille's performance is getting worse, who knows what will happen when he has to face Benfica later, even though next week he has to prepare for this first match in Portugal, which will definitely make Marseille have to think hard about beating Benfica, even though his current performance is a little doubtful.

If PSG is playing the champions league with the same pattern they use to play the Ligue 1 i most definitely doubt their ability to be able to win the champions league and the dream or the possibility of mbappe getting a trio this season is most definitely not going to really be achieved because they don't have all it takes but at Madrid where he will be moving to he may be able to achieve such.
This situation is what hinder PSG to gain success in Champions League. Their routine games in Ligue 1 is quite low standard compared to the routine games of their competitor from other top leagues. They don't have high pressure games coupled with no high pressure competition in title race. This makes their mentality could be not ready to be under-pressure in a high stake of game in Champions League.

I won’t entirely agree with all your statements about PSG though. Saying that they lack competitive teams in the Ligue 1 to make it difficult for them and for them to add more pressure into the fight for the top title could be true. But their routine game in the champions league is also a very big competitive one for them and they’ve also been doing pretty well in the champions just haven’t had the luck yet to life the trophy. I remember those past games in the champions league matches which in those seasons they were the high contenders for the league only to be eliminated by another top team. PSG are good as a team and that is what is giving them the lead every season to lift the Ligue 1 trophy, they just need to keep trying but I am certain they would lift the trophy one day too.

Currently, the Europa League for Marseille is quite surprising because they managed to pass through several phases and are currently in the quarter-finals but indeed this is still a risk considering that for the Europa League at this time there are still several other leading clubs such as Liverpool, Milan and Leverkusen who are still one of the favorite clubs.

The Europa League is going on much better for Marseille compared to the Ligue 1 indeed.  Smiley  Their opponent is Benfica in the quarter finals and I believe this is a winnable matchup for Marseille as well.

However let's say they became successful on it their next opponent would probably be Liverpool. Do you believe Marseille can get past this obstacle as well? I don't think so honestly. Therefore they are quite likely to lose their other chance to qualify for the Champions League too. There are still positive things to be seen by their new manager's arrival though. But consistency is always the key factor to success. We need to see it from them more.
I don't mean to belittle, but in my opinion, sooner or later Marseille will definitely be eliminated from the Europa League, because every round they always face more difficult opponents. As you said, if they are successful in the quarter-finals, will they experience the same success in the semifinals? I think not, because their opponents are very strong and they are even one of the favorites in the Europa League this season.
This season Marseille can't do much, either in Ligue1 or in the Europa League. But maybe they will get really big luck, yes, they could show a surprise that they never imagined before by making it through to the final, for example.
What is clear now is that they have to complete their task in the Europa League quarter-finals first before they focus on other matches. They have to work hard and don't need to think about the results, because if they think about the opponent they will face next, it will probably destroy their mentality.
We never know what the results will be and there are no guarantees in UEL competitions.
What the Marseille coach is thinking about right now is just trying to take advantage of every opportunity that exists at UEL, even though the results are a little doubtful, but competitions like this always provide a little surprise.
Maybe currently Marseille can't provide any performance in League 1 when their performance is starting to decline, but I'm sure this is all due to the impact of several injured players.
And in today's match, Marseille experienced another defeat, but that's natural because Lille was not an easy opponent for Marseille in that match because they were the visiting team. I don't want to say much but what is clear is that in the UEL prediction against Benfica Marseille might experience a little difficulty.

All the competition they happens to face is usually in the champions league and not much in the Ligue 1 so it's very normal for them to have routine style and pattern in the Ligue 1 thst is much different from that which they do have in the champions league because the pattern in the Ligue 1 guarantees them victory and they will literally have to not suffer much again in their champions league games as all the struggles will be channelled towards there.

Actually it will be really difficult for PSG to be able to really do well in the champions league if they keep using the same style they have been using in their domestic league because even them are very much aware of the level of the competition they actually do face in the champions league when compared to that in their domestic league too but so far they have gotten enough champions league experience so it should by this time become something they should   be able to know how to scale through well enough just like they do with their domestic league.

Ligue 1 has and is not a problem for PSG, their problems has always been within the champions league and most definitely if they keep trying with improvement they will get to the level where they will be able to lift the trophy buy if they don't add improvement to all that they are doing, they are definitely going to end up not winning the champions league again and would have to try again but then if they  do that which they aught to do then they can be sure to some day win the champions league.

The decline in Marseille continues. After losing 2-0 to Rennes and PSG, Marseille is now losing to Lille by the same score. We are used to seeing them in 2nd-3rd place but now they are far from the top 6. They might not qualify for the European cups next season. Their biggest problem is that they have no goal scorer except Aubameyang. There is no player in the team who has scored 6 and more goals. When the wingers, number 10 and the other strikers are so out of form, this place in the standing is normal. This is the problem they need to solve first and foremost for next season.
Marseille has played four matches winless, they have a set back in their performance which has affected their position the League one table. They were lucky to have recorded enough goal in their Europa League first leg matches against Villarreal else this poor form would have affected them which will lead to their elimination in the Europa League, but they are lucky to qualify to the quarter finals.
With the couple of matches remaining in the League one this season, if they are back in form, they can make it to the Europa League again next season, or if the manage to win the Europa League this season.

Lens have a great chance to be able to maintain their current position of 6th position in the Ligue 1 standings, because as you said if most likely Lens will be able to win over Le Havre later, because apart from Lens in good enough form in the league , of course Le Havre has not been able to find its best game to date in the league,  le Havre is struggling to stay away from the relegation zone, because currently they are only 1 point away from Lorient who are in the relegation zone, while Lens of course their chances of staying away from Marseille are also wide open because in other matches Marseille will face a difficult match against Lille.

The match in my opinion will still be fierce regardless of the position of the two teams who are currently opposite in the standings, at this time Lens is of course favored to win but they also should not underestimate Le Havre in the match, because currently Le Havre who are fighting away from the relegation zone will of course motivate them to also win against Lens and when both teams continue to chase 3 points it will make The match will be a very fierce match in my opinion.

The Ligue 1 is blowing hot, yes not for the league winner but for the other 2 spots to join PSG in the UCL next season and we’ve got over 4-5 teams fighting for the 2 spots. Well this is what makes a league look pretty interesting and I wish after the clubs fight like this, they’ll be able to make some improvements when they head to the UCL next season and probably try to stop PSG from winning the league.

Lens who is also in this ucl race have been without a win in recent weeks and you begin to try to check their chances, well pretty slim but at least they could boost their hopes this weekend. Yes this weekend, they’re having a match against La Havre who aren’t going to be an issue for Lens, I think this match is a must win for Lens if they ought to qualify for the UCL next season.

Le Havre too will be coming with the fight for Lens because they’re relegation threatened and as such will be very happy if they’re able to get at least a point from this fixture and judging from how poorly Lens have been performing, you might be tempted to risk on a draw. Well Marseille who’re chasing on Lens will be having a big match against Lile this weekend and this is one match that I feel will be going the way of Marseille.

As such, Lens will have to give everything out to win their match, so for the Lens match I’ll rather double chance on Lens and also double chance on Marseille. Lile are a good team but as compared to Marseille they will have to try to get the draw from Marseille in this fixture. I’m enjoying the fights from the team and wish that next season, i can see this kind of competition for the league title and not UCL spots or any European spot.

Basically Marseille really has bad results for away matches in this season and also, although Marseille has better results for home matches. But anyway, the fact is that when Marseille played at home against Lille in the first meeting of this season too, in fact Lille was able to hold Marseille to a draw. So yes, because in this match Marseille will play away, then I personally fully doubt Marseille but fully believe Lille will be able to win in this match. But indeed, maybe bad results can still happen but still, I'm sure Lille will not lose in this home match, the result of winning or just a draw I'm sure Lille will get in this match. Also about the match between Monaco v Renner, I also believe that Monaco will win and of course Monaco can still sleep well, because Monaco still has better quality compared to Rennes.
After 3 successful matches Marseille won next they could not stop their bad record where currently with the defeat against Lille today indirectly they also lost again for the third time coupled with a fairly striking score.

What is happening now for Marseille when indeed for the beginning of the season I actually hope for good results at least the same as they did last season but the difference for now is very striking for them even in this match we can see a lot of opportunities they waste in this match.

Indeed in this match Marseille can get a consolation goal but it can also be said to be a gift because what they get for this goal is the result of Ismailly's own goal which makes this not too happy for me.
This season it looks like they will have to settle for being in the middle of the table for Ligue 1.

Looking at Marseille's performance this season compared to Lille, we will see that Lille is in better shape than Marseille. It is not that Marseille is performing poorly, but the truth is that Marseille's performances are not that stable; sometimes they will play well and sometimes they will play disappointingly. So if I should judge based on their performance this season and last few seasons performance records, I will say that Lille is the favourite team to win the match today. In their past seasons, like three to four seasons, it was only the team hosting the game that always had the opportunity of winning, and today Lille is the team hosting the game. Marseille is coming to Lille Stadium, so I see Lille having a better chance of winning today's match, and if possible, Lille was not lucky to win the game. I think they will draw the game.

Lille was able to perform quite well when playing at home, even in today match Lille was able to beat Marseille with a score of 3-1.  It is true that this season Lille is performing better than Marseille, even in terms of defense, Lille is stronger than Marseille. Even though Marseille have Aubameyang in their squad, he has not succeeded in bringing changes to Marseille in the last 3 matches because they lost in a row.

This victory also brought Lille to 3rd place where they were able to overtake Monaco, but Lille position was not safe enough because Monaco had not yet played its 28th match so there was a big opportunity for Monaco to reclaim 3rd place. Three teams from 2nd to 4th had  the points are close enough that there is a possibility they will continue to swap places until the end of this season.

The previous two matches without a win made Lens' position even more threatened and they had to fight harder to secure a place in European competition next season. However, this is not an easy matter because there are three teams who want to immediately shift them from that position and Lens this week must really win again and make a good trend before the season ends.

Luckily, Lens will not face difficult opponents this week and they will face a bottom team, namely Le Havre. This should not be a serious obstacle for Lens to be able to score 3 points and at the same time widen the point difference between the three teams below them. I hope to see Lens can do that and it would be a great achievement if they could get another ticket to the Champions League rather than other European competitions.

The lens is going to have a match with Le Havre.
Predicting this match cannot be too hard for us because based on the information about these two teams we know Le Havre and Lens had some matches before this one before but in the last five games they had, Le Havre never won the game against Lens and they lost two games while they had three draws which is a good reason to say Lens can have a much higher chance against Le Havre.
However, the rates for Le Havre are very high and tempting but I don't think if it's safe enough to bet on Le Havre for this match against Lens.

I disagree with you here that PSG are doing so well in the UCL. All i know is PSG are struggling in the UCL they barely survive every match and i don't think they will survive at this stage. Perhaps that is why he was referring PSG to be weal because there is no strong competitor in the Ligue 1 to give them a hard time. The road to the title is just smooth and clear so they have less of injured player or players with fatigue since their opponents are weak teams.

PSG is one team i believe would do wonders when the right time comes. No team can be underestimated now, we saw how Manchester City came from nowhere and dominated Europe. And now Arsenal has risen to fight for a place in Europe. Sure, as years passes there will be great teams from places we do not expect, and they will do wonders.

Marseille seem struggle to handle pressure of situation when they need to win the match to stay close to Europa League zone. They seem to lose their determination when they are under pressure. They don't seem like a big club when they failed to bounce back after some setbacks. They need to solve their front line issue and adjust the tactics to strengthen the midfield.

The last fixture might not seem in their favor, facing PSG and Lille could be a difficult task considering the two teams are currently the better teams. But this shouldn't be an excuse for them to not show their determination as a big club. Lost three games in arrow makes situation harder for them to avoid pressure. It would be silly if they just give up the chance to finish in european competitions. The management and the board need to evaluate this situations and address the weak area for preparation of next season.

Almost every season goes like that for PSG so don't be surprised if until last season and it is also possible that this season PSG has not won a top caste trophy such as the Champions League. Because PSG always find it easier to carry out routine matches in League 1 and there is no pressure whatsoever in winning trophies every season. Meanwhile, when PSG was in the Champions League, they always lost more easily in the crucial rounds so that until now PSG players have never lifted this prestigious trophy.

PSG have the ability to manage the team well and it is even impossible for us to find another team that can currently be as good as PSG in Ligue 1, with the ability and money power they have so far made Ligue 1 only a way for PSG to be able to play in the champions league every season, their ease in winning domestic league trophies at this time certainly makes PSG the most dominating team in Ligue 1 and even when At the moment we can guess if PSG will win Ligue 1 again next season even without Mbappe in their squad.

I agree with what you said, because indeed an easy journey in the league is not able to make PSG a scary team in Europe today, even with a star-studded squad PSG continue to fail to get the Champions League trophy and I think this season will also be no different from last season when PSG failed again, the absence of tight competition in the league certainly does not provide a challenge that can indeed strengthen the character, performance and also a strong mentality for PSG so far.

They are lucky to have a good coach you see there,  he has brought in stability even with how Kylian Mbappe has shown he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.  It will be a big shame if he cannot win the league Cup at the end of this season so I'm proud of the coach.  They have to do well in the jext few games.  They must show winner mentality against top side Barcelona in the champions league.

Right now it has also been seen that theybare better favorites to get to the next level than Barcelona.  Having Mbappe is a great one too, he will bring a different force in that game.

Normally almost every season PSG usually has little to no challenge with the Ligue 1 but mostly they get issues been very productive in the champions league, they usually get room aquintend with winning every of the Ligue 1 games and always lifting the trophy so thst i begin to think rhst they may never be able to win another trophy away from the Ligue 1 and other smaller easy leagues too.

If PSG ever gets to win the champions league, then they will be able to bost of their abilities in been able to win an elite trophy, the reason PSG may have. Not been able to win such trophies as the champions league will most likely be that they have been focused so much on just getting to win the champions league without much needed preparation for it which is actually beyond just qualifying for the champions league and playing with the players whom you have without any different kind and form of tactics you approaching the champions league buy just playing like they do in their regular domestic league forgetting that they are meeting a whole different teams in the champions league which they don't meet in their domain league.

PSG must learn to prepare for the next champions league from this season by building experience and also nurturing players who will be able to really get them to be able to win what they actually want, buy thinking that mare buying bigger players will give them that which they wish to achieve will definitely be the reason they will continue to fall and not get the chance to win the trophy in any of the seasons.

In fact, rightly indeed, in the next 3 matches, Lens can collect full points for each match. Because their opponents are clubs in the relegation zone area. Starting from Le Havre, Metz, and also Clermont Foot. In fact, Lens could be superior to that club and guarantee full points in every match. Unless Lens really doesn't want to achieve any more significant progress for his club and doesn't have high motivation.
I think it will be an easy game for Lens because they will face an easy opponent. The clubs they face are struggling to get out of the relegation zone so they will be under much more pressure to play well to get points. It would be strange if Lens were unable to take full points against this club because Lens' quality is far above them. Currently Lens are in sixth position and they are not yet safe in that position because Marseille still has the opportunity to catch up to their position
Yeah, it should be easy for them to  do that. For, If we consider it from any perspective, even though Lens is not as optimal as last season, the comparison between Lens and its three opposing clubs will be quite different. As long as Lens doesn't underestimate their opponent and they can stay focused on winning, they shouldn't experience many difficulties. What happens is that a club underestimates its opponent and in the end it will not be optimal. This is quite dangerous for any club.

The match currently taking place in the French League is between the top 3 clubs, LOSC and Marseille. LOSC is already ahead 2 - 0.

So there is a big possibility that LOSC will win. Moreover, it has now entered the 75th minute. So, there is no doubt that LOSC has a bigger chance to win. Judging from the course of the match, LOSC also appears to be dominating the match, without much competition from Marseille.

Lille against Marseille will be the headline of this week's Ligue 1 match and it looks like the hosts have full strength to get another 3 points. I don't think Marseille will be able to steal points in this match because they are experiencing a deadlock in the last two matches and for Lille, who just won against Lens, they need these points to be able to match Monaco's points tally.

If that happens then we will see much tighter competition in the top 4 because several teams will have the opportunity to overtake each other every week. On the other hand, Monaco will not sleep well considering that their opponent is Rennes and the opportunity to lose points against Rennes is also quite open for Monaco. Even though Rennes hasn't been very good recently, if they face a comparable opponent they could become Monaco's nightmare.

The Lille - Marseille match will be one of the highlights of the week in terms of viewing pleasure. Marseille have scored only one goal in their last three games and have not won. Marseille's offensive line has been problematic lately. Lille, on the other hand, is going through a difficult period in defense. Actually, the game plans of both teams do not look good.

The main reason why Lille's defensive weaknesses will stand out is that they have problems in coming back after a crowded attacking organization and they are not fast. Marseille will play with extra concentration and motivation in this match to end their bad run and they will want to have the ball. Lille will have no difficulty in getting into scoring positions with their wing organizations and we could see some goals in this match. My preference is mutual goals.
