No, Ligue 1 and Champions League are two different world, much more different than many of the other leagues are in comparison to the Champions League. In most other leagues, especially in the Premier League, the teams have some serious competition throughout the season and that keeps them focused. Name one team that you consider serious competition for PSG in Ligue 1. I don't know a single team that I believe could compete with PSG over a longer period of time. They can only wait for the Champions League games and then receive their reality check. We know how this often ends for them.

The Paris Saint-Germain in this season are the best so far and they are currently leading with 10 points ahead of the next club who is the second position in the League 1 table standing and that has shown the level of prowess that PSG has shown at the league stage.

That can also be replicated in their Champions League which they have as their next fixture. I feel like Mbappe wants to do it again for the club before he finally leaves since talks have garnered around the space discussing his possibility of leaving the PSG any moment from now. It's a good outing for PSG this year and they have continuously shown their capacity to be one of the elite clubs in the German League.

PSG are already League champions and they understand that they’ve got the UCL im less than a week and as such I won’t be blaming them alot though. Yes they’ve already done the major work which was to get maximum points early enough to be crowned league champions and in this match you can still see that they were able to get point too.

 ⁠Well if you want to criticize I will say it’s still cool because it’s going to help them while going forward because you can’t compare their opponents to them in any way. Many expected PSG to be running riots in this match though bit the reverse was the case.⁠This means Enrique has got some technical jobs to do as regard the way this PSG should handle matches because you can’t expect them to do this nex season and still be able to contest for the league. They meed reinforcement in this PSG side and they need to acquire major players who’ll be able to turn things around in split seconds.

 ⁠Them losing Mbappe will be a very big deal because you can’t imagine how they’ll be able to perform without Kylian in the squad. This will really open up the squad and show how much they’re lacking in the team generally. I feel the club needs to make crucial signings if they want to be able to make a statement in The UCL next season because they’re not having a formidable team yet talk more of having good reserve because that’s what’s needed in the UCL as your main squad might not be able to hold on for long period in the UCL main match and as such you need a very strong reserve.

PSG is too overpowered in the French league, they are indeed with one defeat or draw at the end of the season will not affect PSG, unless indeed if they lose control and in the last 6 matches will experience defeat, of course Brast will be able to quickly catch up, but it is almost impossible for PSG to experience, so we don't need to worry about PSG in the French league at this time, they are very dominant and also the trophy will only belong to them.

Yes, this draw has no effect on them, because they are still very comfortably at the top of the standings. However, the problem is that I can't stop thinking that they should be held to a draw by a team at the bottom of the standings and that happened at their own headquarters. Even though they didn't lose, in my opinion this is still an embarrassing result for a team like Paris Saint Germain.
It should be remembered that they are at the top of the standings, and even though they are playing with second tier players, in terms of quality they are still better than the players Clermont has. They are also preparing for the Champions League, so they should be able to take advantage of this match to make their mentality bigger too. However, they did not show this and they had to be held to a draw by the worst team in Ligue 1 this season. This is a result they should not have gotten, and I think they were really disappointing in this match.

PSG is actually up the table enough to not be able to win at least the Ligue 1 trophy this season, they are at the top of the table with enough of point difference away from others which actually means they can win the trophy if they are able to maintain their position on the table quiet long enough till the end of the season without having to loose too many games again because if the loose more games they may have their position threatened.

Teams who are not actually sure of been able to win the Ligue 1 this season are others who are most definitely not close to the top of the table and are not even anywhere close by virtue of their points so far on the league table. Barcelona will definitely pose a serious challenge to PSG especially playing without their key player mbappe but then if they managed to get through this, maybe they will be able to make up for it in their second leg of the game so I'm very certain it's not really going to be a big issues with PSG getting to be able to tackle Barcelona because even the Spanish teams isn't in a very perfect form too this season.

A draw in this game on Wednesday will definitely keep PSG at a safe spot pending their next meeting which will then be a determinant to who stays and who leaves the champions league this season but then I'm very optimistic about Barcelona because they are really depending on this as something they should see as achievement for the season unlike PSG who has gotten their domestic lol at their ease to win.

Mbappe made a big impact on the match with the assists he gave, throughout the match PSG looked quite depressed because Clermont foot who played carefree in the match, because indeed their position that could no longer be saved in the league was able to make PSG players work hard enough in the match, lucky enough for PSG because Enrique realized that they needed Mbappe in the match even though maybe a little late to play him but At least Mbappe can avoid PSG from a humiliating defeat to the relegation zone team, indeed the result of the game no longer affects PSG's position at the top of the Ligue 1 standings but I think it would be quite embarrassing if the star-studded PSG team actually lost to a team that is confirmed to be relegated next season.

Indeed, PSG is currently focusing its main players to fight Barcelona in the Champions League, but doesn't the draw indicate that PSG has a poor reserve squad and without qualified squad depth between the main and reserve players, of course PSG will find it difficult to compete in the Champions League, besides that the inclusion of mbappe in the match indicates if mbappe has been the life of PSG's game,  So when PSG do not get the good player who can replace Mbappe next season, it is certain that PSG will stumble next season, especially when they play in the Champions League.

But atleast, PSG has not been able to set a record like Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga with 11 consecutive trophies and thus, I think PSG dominance can still be thwarted by other teams in Ligue 1. Although indeed, quite often the efforts of other teams also fail because after all, although PSG started the season with bad results, but as the season progressed PSG was really still able to return to the top of the table with Mbappe great performance.

So, if for example Mbappe is confirmed to leave in the transfer window later, then of course it might be a chance for otherteams to win the Ligue 1 title. Because after all, it is possible that PSG will experience difficult efforts to get consistent results because of Mbappe departure. So yes, let's just wait for what will happen next season whether PSG will still be able to win the trophy or not because PSG no longer have Mbappe in the squad.

Even though it's not a better result for PSG playing at home, it also won't hinder PSG from winning trophies this season because they have too many points compared to their rivals in League 1. This Wednesday they will face Barcelona in the Champions League, of course this will be very worrying because without a key player like Mbappe, PSG doesn't seem to have the strength to win. Even though the opponent itself is the bottom team in League 1 which PSG should be able to beat more easily.

what you say is very true even though it looks like a joke but 1 point could be a very special result for Clermont because teams from the bottom of the standings need points to be able to survive in league 1 but it seems in vain.
if this match had taken place at the start of the season it is likely that Clermont would have been beaten with a landslide score by PSG but this match towards the end of the season Enrique will only provide a simple strategy that slightly underestimates Clermont

but if that was the best gift from PSG for Clermont, PSG should just give in and give 3 points to Clermont.

A draw in the match against Clermont will not put pressure on PSG position, Brest as PSG closest competitor is still 10 points behind. I think Enrique has lowered their level of seriousness in Ligue 1, because they are already in a safe position at the top of the standings, with just a few games left they will lock up this season trophy. There are now 6 remaining Ligue 1 matches, if Brest stumbles in the remaining matches, PSG will lock up the Ligue 1 trophy more quickly. I predict PSG will sweep the remaining matches in the future, at least they will still be difficult for any team to beat.

The Champions League will be PSG main priority at the moment, that is a dream they have not achieved at the moment. You could say that this season they are a little lucky because Barcelona is not as tough as last season, apart from that Enrique really understands the club. So in my opinion PSG has a better chance of advancing to the semifinals, because in terms of squad depth they are also better, PSG just lacks experience. It is possible that PSG can advance to the final this season, as we know Enrique still has one of the best players in his squad at the moment, namely Mbappe.

Paris Saint Germaine have a very crucial game to play in the UEFA Champions League by midweek against Spanish giants Barcelona and that I think was the reason why the club manager Luis Enrique decided to rest some of his best players so they can be fully fit to feature in that game. Enrique must have thought that Clermont will be easily beaten since they're a small club but little did he know that they were ready to give their best to defeat the French champions and win the game.
It was when he saw that Clermont were very serious to win the game that he had to introduce some of his best players like Kylian Mbappe but their introduction in the game could not stop Clermont from picking a point from the game after the game finished in stalemate. Despite the result and dropping of two points, Paris Saint Germaine I know will still end the current season with the  French league title. I don't think the result of that game is going to have any psychological effect on Paris Saint Germaine players when they face Barcelona in UCL in the first leg of their quarter final encounter.

Lens drew 1-1 with Le Havre.Le Havre want to stay in the league and even 1 point in this tough away game is important for them to stay in the league.Lens are in a race with their rivals for the European Cups.Lens, who are 1 point behind Nice, aim to finish 5th in the league at worst.Le Havre have to take points from every game as the points difference with their rivals is small.
PSG, on the other hand, drew with Clermonti.PSG will most probably finish as champions this season.The league is no longer important for them, but they will want to at least maintain the points difference.Clermont has a chance to play in the play-offs, but I see their potential to stay in the league as low.It was very important for them to get points from a rival like PSG.

PSG is not a small team, I think there is a possibility that PSG can win the title this season, because their previous history is quite good. as you said, even though they experienced a draw, that doesn't rule out the possibility of them winning the title. but in my opinion they will get extra work when they play against Barcelona, because Barcelona is a big team which is also famous for its beautiful and neat game. Even though Barcelona's current performance is not good, they cannot be underestimated. maybe they are preparing the taka tiki.

It's true what you said about PSG who can always handle their problems well, that's what makes me applaud them,  they can handle their problems well and maybe because they are also calm in dealing with them. with their previous match, I think they were quite good in their performance, and I think they have a chance to win the title this season.

Nantes vs Lyon

Lyon is in the good shape because recently they can advances to the final match of France Cup after beat Valenciennes with final scores 3-0 and in Ligue 1 too Lyon can collect 7 points from 3 matches by beating Lorient and Toulouse and draw from Reims so they are very confident will beat Nantes today and collect 3 points from this match and for Nantes their situations is very difficult now because after playing at Europa League and eliminate on that competition their performance is not getting better and now Nantes only can occupy 15th place with only collect 28 points from 27 matches

I can see there was no players from Lyon who got injured and suspension so today they can playing with all of their key players including their captain Alexandre Lacazette and after return from the injured i can see Lacazette can find his shape again and recently he can scores 2 goals and help Lyon to beat Valenciennes and the condition of Nantes squad also very good because all of their players can be played today including Mostafa Mohamed and Lyon is on fire now because they can bounce back recently and gets some of positive results from their previous matches and for today i am sure Lyon can be the winner of this match and the odds for Lyon win is quite high @2.21

Enrique underestimated Clermont Foot and tried to rest his key players and that cost him two points! The sad part is that Clermont Foot is the last team in Ligue 1 and expected to relegate. PSG have to wait until Kylian Mbappe join the game in the second half to make an assist for Ramos to score. Poor result before facing Barcelona this Wednesday..

That's right and even though PSG often get draws, including against Clermont last night, this won't hinder them from winning the title this season. If there are still 6 matches left in this season, then PSG must win at least 3 more times to finish this season faster considering that they are 10 points away from their closest competitor, namely Brest.

PSG's superiority in all sectors makes it easy to defend the title every season and this cannot be achieved by other teams in Ligue One. Moreover, even if there are problems with PSG, they can always overcome them well without continuing to get poor results. I think that in the next 5 years PSG will still dominate Ligue One unless there are other competitors who have financial strength from the Middle East, then PSG's dominance will slowly fade.
