From everything I have observed, Lyon has indeed improved, but I cannot confirm whether Lyon will really be consistent in the next few matches.
I agree with you Lyon can avoid the relegation zone but I'm sure it won't be in  top 10 and will only be below the top 10.
Pierre Sage has good plans for Lyon and we are waiting to see what the coach will provide to be able to keep the club in League 1.

In accordance with what I thought, Lyon will have the opportunity to recover quickly and get additional points consistently to secure its position and it was very clear yesterday after successfully beating Lille in other competitions but yesterday they also succeeded in beating Montpellier with narrow score but for me Lyon performance already very different from before and yesterday he looked very enthusiastic even though he was playing away.
Maxence Caqueret managed to save Lyon win in 81st minute very intelligently, he was able to score 1 very meaningful score for Lyon and this 1 score was the first score he managed to score this season.

Marseille has tight schedules this week because after the match against Metz they have to fight against Shakhtar Donetsk at play off stages of Europa league so probably Genarro Gattuso will do some rotation to Marseille squad because the match against Shakhtar Donetsk also so important for Marseille and actually they will gets easy opponent Metz because we all know Metz was failed to managed their consistency and their records is very poor because in the last 8 matches in all competitions Metz was gets 7 loses and only get 1 draw and these results too makes them in the relegation zone with 16 points

Actually since Gattuso handle this team Marseille has no significant progress because they were still unstable even in the last 4 matches Marseille was failed to gets the winning results and last week surprisingly they were lost from Lyon and for the match today as usual Marseille still rely on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a striker and compared to other Marseille forward players only Aubameyang who can able to performing well and so far his records is quite impressive with 6 goals and 7 assists in Ligue 1 and actually if Marseille can managed their consistency it's not hard to beat Metz even the bookmakers provided low odds for them @1.46 so let see Marseille can able to bounce back and win the match or they will be failed to win again

Not too bad to be at the position I'm currently seeing em, though I know they have to work together and hard to earn the spot we all think they should be. Despite talks of it being the farmers league,  these lads are having a Competitive season.

They should be against Nice if I'm correct,  and Nice at home is one tough nut to crack. Hard one to predict to avoid defeat then they must try to get a point because I'm sure they'll not be able to win this game.
For Brest, Ti's off course a good chance to see them level up with them current points,  they should off course beat Clemfort who's had less wins against Brest.

Monaco are just really bad this season. Not only in the cup I mean but also the Ligue 1.    They have lost a lot of points in the league so far and they are out of the Champions League spots at the moment. They are still not far away from those spots by points of course. But this performance needs to be improved more if they want to make it.

The Ligue 1 has a quota of three teams to join the Champions League groups directly this season. Even the fourth finishing team have a chance through qualification phase. Monaco shouldn't miss this chance by maintaining a poor performance.

Monaco were not very good in the last matches with Le Havre and Marseille, and apparently the cup is not a priority tournament for them, since it is obvious that their main goal is Ligue 1, where they will compete with Brest and Lille for the top 4. Moreover, in in the next rounds they will need to play with Nice and Lens, these are very tough opponents, and it is obvious that they need to try to get points in these matches. Nice is an intriguing opponent. Nice has done well to become France's second-best squad. I think their match against PSG is predictable. Nice has time to strategize, but PSG's depth and talent are unparalleled. Its not enough to have star players - they must also win.
