They seem to play with a relax mindset that made the players looked no determination. They could beat Marseille before, which is their historical rival and a better team than Clermont, that shows their didn't have the right mindset today. Maybe their focus has been on the upcoming match in Champions League against Barcelona, they are in situation that is able to afford the loss due to a big points gap on the table. Having good quality players makes Enrique easier to manage their priority.

It said that maybe PSG having mercy for Clermont due to being in the bottom of the league table. Having thirteen points gap is big enough for PSG to calm down for a while in preparation for Champions League game. Considering the recent performances and results of Paris Saint Germaine in the French league, I think the club manager Luis Enrique I think is feeling too relaxed and confident that his team is definitely going to win the French league title at the end of the season but if you ask me, I don't think his recent tactical approaches in their recent league matches they failed to win is something to be proud of. It is understandable that Paris Saint Germaine is the best team in the league in terms of quality players and are very capable and mostly likely to win the league at the end of the season but Luis Enrique must learn how to use his strongest teams in league games like the one against Clermont earlier today.
The away team were less than six minutes away from recording a surprise win against French champions before Goncalo Ramos scored in the 85th minute to draw the hosts level. Paris Saint Germaine best player Kylian Mbappe didn't start the game but was introduced in the last 25 minutes of the game to help his team find and equalizer or better still win the game but he was only able to help them get a draw in that game

I don't agree with you about good having good players not a guarantee to winning matches because of you check most of the teams that are dominating in their various leagues you will understand that they have good and experienced players and that's why they have been able to make a lot of huge successes for those teams. We all know that Kylian Mbappe is a sensational player that whenever he is playing, a lot of football fans cheers his name because they know he is a worthy superstar so when he finally leaves PSG, they will surely feel his absence.

The performance of the home team in this match is laughable because they managed to equalize with a team that is at the bottom place in the table, Clermont isn't a strong team to be compared with PSG but I think PSG did not play the game wth all seriousness seeing thst they are comfortable with the difference in gap with the second place team and their match in the Champions League is their most important game for  them right now since they are sure of being the French ligue1 champions with the current points they have righ now and the number of matches left to be played. Yes the outcome of the match tonight did not affect PSG nor stopped Clermont from being in the relegation zone it only reduces the gap between PSG and Brest if they can win tomorrow against Metz.

I have been notice on PSG starting lineup some of their important players such as Mbappe, Hakimi and Marquinhos has starting the match from the bench but i can understand why Luis Enrique did that because PSG has important match against Barcelona on Champion league and obviously Luis Enrique will give his priority to that match so he considers the match against Clermont is not too important again for PSG this because PSG position on league table is quite safe besides that Luis Enrique also want to ensure all of PSG key players will be in the good fitness when against Barcelona later

This situation makes it safe to say money becoming a big factor in football. PSG is not only can recruit the best players who they won, but also can keep them staying in the club for a long time because they pay high wage for their players. On the other hand, 19 other teams would lose their best players if they perform impressively. Monaco and Lille are the examples for losing their best players after winning the league.

The fact that PSG could play with a relaxing mood against Clermont can be a sign that the title race is over. Maybe even if they don't win a single remining match, they will still win the league in the end, because their competitors below them will drop points eventually because their quality and the competitiveness between them make it difficult to win all the remaining matches to overtake PSG. this situation indirectly give advantage to PSG who already too strong to compete with.

There are existence of top club in France and these teams doesn't take chances but end up delivering good efforts for their solid results this season. Of course yes, it's a fact that things can happen so when are we going to be hanging on something that can affect a team like that stars are no guarantee of winning, nothing more as you say, PSG was a team that when they had Messi and Neymar with Mbappé that was a technically unbeatable team, but because they had a coach who never took advantage of all that potential they could never win a UCL and that is sad for a team, because there are teams that even with so many stars do not win anything, in this case I think PSG wasted many opportunities having these great players, it is very sad indeed.




This type of match with Marseille is disappointing for many, as in my thinking was that this team could give a PSG a war on the river but nothing to do, they are a long way from the things they can do, I think in my opinion they should always do Something to make a Difference  , as whenever they do something different, Lille or another team comes to the fore, I don't know if Lille will be the team that can shine next Season, but if so, welcome, I think that's the kind of thing we need to see, if Lille are the strongest then good for them , as I said Before, it's a shame Marseille are not up to the level, they better always give their best when they think of proving something, here in Ligue 1 they have to show the desire they have to dethrone PSG.

The match ended in a draw. This is clearly showing how relegation team can destroy any team including a team that is leading the league table. I never expect Clermont to draw PSG even though they drew their first leg match against each other. But it seems like Clermont is good against PSG because they win them in their last season’s final match.
Nevertheless, the match result did not affect PSG’s League position because 13 points ahead of the second position team Brest is enough for them to lift the League one title because I don’t see them losing enough matches.

PSG doesn't appear to me like they will be able to win or even go far enough in the champions league and this is actually judging from the performance i see from them this evening, i doubt how they will be able to get to win a league that's way more competitive than this that they are so used to every season with this their performance except there's going to be a different and separate tactics they will be using in the champions league.

The game against Clermont was actually such that most persons didn't expect to be a tough one for PSG especially in the fact that PSG is playing from home and not playing away, that was supposed to be a reason they would have been ABA to comfortably win this game tonight but then it's actually sad that they weren't able to get it done as they did had to share points with Clermont, in this match, PSG was actually dominant and had the most of possession and attempts and other statical records in the game but it's actually really sad how they couldn't convert their opportunities into a victory.

Champions league that happens to be more competitive and their opponent isn't even a weak on by the way and they would need to be at their best if they will be able to win their opponent because this their current performance doesn't look like they are going to be able to comfortably defeat their opponent in the champions league but then their firm is actually still intact but their productivity needs to be fixed.

How good and great PSG is from season to season, but the fact is that PSG can still lose by mediocre teams and thus, of course PSG is still not strong enough to be able to compete well in the Champions League. But after all, at least other big teams also sometimes get bad results or experience bad luck when they play against mediocre teams. Yeh you were right they already took huge lead in league table and now the importance is much more for upcoming champion league match against one of strong side Barcelona and we already know they has some terrible history In champion league in past against Barcelona so they are giving some much more attention also loss of few quality players like messi, Neymar damage their potential huge. Anyway currently they are under lead of 1-0 against Clermont Foot still after a half time and the main reason is that most of thier goal scorer main player like Dembele, mbappe etc are on bench so things are looking more messy for them hope at last stage they will make some difference.
If we have a look at thier points table they have huge lead of 12 points with second position holding team which is indication of another league winning trophy for Paris despite they lose some consecutive match still they will be on top.

It was so easy for Lille to bury Marseille's hopes of winning and with a fairly landslide score of 3-1, it proved that Lille was still too strong for Marseille. It is natural that Lille can achieve this victory quite easily and this also makes Lille move to 3rd place in the standings by overtaking Monaco. However, the number of points is the same as Monaco, so the possibility of Lille being shifted by Monaco again could still happen.

On the other hand, Marseille, who failed to get points in this match, must be willing to remain stuck in 7th position in the standings and they lost the opportunity to get closer to Nice. Just because you have good players on your team doesn't mean that you are going to win all the games. I believe that we are going to end up with a situation that would be a lot lesser, and PSG will do fine even after Mbappe because they figured out just star players can't get you everything, so they are getting other good players.

As far as I know, PSG doesn't have any great midfielders in their squad apart from Marco Verratti. I am not impressed with other midfielders such as Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, Carlos Soler, Kang-in Lee and several others. That's because their class is still below Bernardo Silva, Luka Modrić, Toni Kroos, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne or Ilkay Gundogan.

PSG needs to bring in some good midfielders to support their strategy, of course some experienced midfielders are expected. The problem is, PSG tends to be more interested in stickers or great wingers like Neymar, Messi, Di Maria, Cavani, Ibrahimovic and others, while they are unbalanced in midfield and defense.

Look at the teams that actually won the Champions League title, I think they all had a good balance in defence, midfielders and strikers. PSG doesn't have that and tends to focus on building their attack line, it's completely unbalanced.

The match has just started. And I am not very surprised to see PSG not play Mbappe. Probably they are saving him for the match against Barcelona and will not play him in this match if it is not very much needed. I like this because I don’t think they will need him to win a match going against the team which is absolutely at the bottom of the table. pretty sure PSG is going to win this match. only seven minutes have been played so far in this match.
