They are always in the Champions League because they have no competitors that can take their place in Ligue 1, I can say with confidence that they will always be in the Champions League before other clubs here can raise their level to the same level as Paris Saint Germain.
The fact is that they don't have a single Champions League title to date with all the times they've been here. They are still lagging behind other clubs from different leagues, especially when comparing them to clubs from the English League or Spanish League.
I think the competitive level in the domestic league also affects their performance in the Champions League in the end. Because they get pressure that they are not used to during the domestic league.

I have been notice Brest achievement this season because they have a potention to finish at higher positions on league standings compared to last season and their performance much impressive now because from 10 latest matches in all competitions Brest can able to gets 7 wins and only lose twice even from those matches Brest can gets 6 cleansheet and from these statistics we can see Brest has strong balanced to attack and defense and if they can able to managed their performance until end of this season i think they have a good chance to finish at top 5 and playing at European competitions which is this was never done before

Previously Brest target is only to avoiding relegation zone because the owner know it's hard to compete with big teams just like Monaco, Lille or Marseille for european zone but surprisingly Brest has fantastic performance this season and until week 18 Brest have already to collect 34 points with only gets 4 loses but after fight against FC Trélissac at France Cup Brest will gets hard match next weekend because they have to fight against PSG and most likely Brest will suffering their 5th loses from this match because we all know PSG is unstoppable at this league and it's very hard to beat them

It is impossible for Nice to catch PSG with a large enough point difference while Nice's performance this season is not very consistent and not very convincing to challenge PSG for the title, PSG has a much more stable performance than the top 3 clubs. And PSG has a better player gap that's what makes it difficult for other clubs to break PSG's dominance to win the title, and as long as no club surpasses PSG in terms of players and coaches, I think PSG will continue to dominate the League 1 title for as long as possible.

This is indeed Mbappe's last season at PSG and if Mbappe does not intend to sign a new contract with PSG then he will leave and there are many rumors that Mbappe will go to Real Madrid or another big club like Liverpool. But if Mbappe can achieve good results he will win the League title Champions with PSG, maybe Mbappe will continue his career with PSG, but I think that is quite impossible even though there is still a chance of a miracle.

Every season is am opportunity for PSG to win the UCL title but it appears things are not working out as expected and Nasser Al-Khelaifi will not give up until his ultimate targets is reach. Paris Saint-Germain have everything that qualifies them to enter the UEFA Champions League every season but they're lacking the crucial points which would aides them to become UEFA Champions. Because the teams they face in the Champions League differ in terms of strength, they are all a collection of the strongest teams in their respective leagues, which makes it difficult for PSG to always compete and become a team to be reckoned with in the tournament.
Buying expensive players is not enough, there must be development of a good team like Chelsea before they became the team they are today or like Manchester City which needed many seasons with Pep Guardiola before they finally became champions.
And this season there hasn't been any major changes seen at PSG, it's evident that they haven't had a very smooth journey in the group phase and when they manage to qualify Luiz Enrique will face a more difficult match, but they will be able to reach the quarter-finals but the semifinals and finals are not clearly visible to them.


PSG will face Orleans in the French Cup match, like they destroyed Revel this will also be a very easy match for PSG, and it would be surprising if PSG playing with full strength like the match against Revel and Luiz Enrique should let his core players rest to avoid injuries due to the match others are more important and require full strength.

Maybe for now they have changed their policy of looking at quality players for directors and so far the transfer market has opened PSG has not moved to look for players who have above average quality. The responsibility for managing a club must be given to competent people because if it is mismanaged, the club, even though it has a lot of money, will not have any impact. PSG is a team in a rebuild phase; with Neymar, Messi and other players gone and other talisman and this doesn't mean that they cannot win the champions league at all.  If they can trust the young process with Luis Enrique; they can have a shot at the champions league.

Now, PSG have to plan for Mbappe exit to Real Madrid and focus on their rebuild squarely.

PSG is a team that often enters the Champions League every season, although until now PSG has still not been able to win the Champions League title. Because in terms of football, it would be very wrong if a team only depended on a miracle that might come to them in a big competition like the Champions League. Winning a lot in Ligue1 does not guarantee that a team can easily become champions in the Champions League and this has been experienced several times by PSG. And this season it looks like it will be the same because currently there are not many star players at PSG who can change PSG's performance to be better than before.

PSG, are big money spenders but they should be wary lest they fall under the hammer of the FFP. Yes, signing big names aren’t bad but they could cause a worry for the team especially if they’re not managed properly or they end up signing the wrong players that doesn't match the teams standard.

 Well sometimes, big names requires some special sort of management so as to be able to achieve success and this could be likened to PSG's past squad with names but yet were nothing when at the big Europe stage. Luis is quite good but I think he needs to build his own squad so as to achieve massive success. Winning the UCL ain’t one big deal as he can achieve that same way he did at Barcelona but he needs all trust and confidence from the board so as to build his own squad and win the necessary trophies.

Miracles exists but people that will have miracle will still be having doubts on that which they’ve had miracle on before because of the nature of the situation. PSG where not able to win the champions league when they had star players like Neymar, Messi and Mbappe in one team, why then now? They are doing well in the ligue 1 and that have given them an advantage over other teams in the league. But their performance in the league is not what is been replicated in the champions league. They need to replicate that if they want to go far in this season’s champions league. But just by miracles, I doubt if it will work for them and work in their favour.

Lyon having signs of improvement in their overall condition compared to the initial weeks of the season. One positive aspect is that Lyon seems to be attempting changes or adjustments in their approach. The fact that they are trying different strategies indicates a proactive approach towards addressing their issues. The mid-season point is a critical juncture, and Lyon still has time to turn things around. It's noteworthy that they are not too late to make a meaningful impact on their position in the Ligue 1 standings. To secure a safer position, Lyon needs to consistently build on their recent improvements and work towards a more stable form.

Whether it's tactical adjustments, player dynamics, or other factors, Lyon must continue their efforts to solidify their position in the league. Considering Lyon's historical standing and the quality of their squad, it's reasonable to expect that they have the potential to stay in Ligue 1. However, sustained improvement and strategic decisions will be pivotal in ensuring their success and avoiding the relegation battle as the season progresses.

The fact that there's yet to be a team that can contend PSG head on and possibly win is also a great factor to the contribution of the Ligue 1 been boring and aswell always dominated by PSG and that has in a way not given that league the kind of attention it should get as an elite league because it's outcome is always almost very predictable.

If another team could come up some dat or possibly this season to put up a perfect challenge against PSG, there will be a reawakening of other teams trying to definitely get to that point aswell because the reluctance of every other teams keeps staying amongst them and strengthen PSG such that they now know they can win the Ligue 1 almost at anytime they want ,last few seasons when the weren't able to win the Ligue 1, it was observed that se feel of competitiveness was found in the league because other teams had to struggle to maintain a good position ahead of PSG sine they showed some weakness that season.

Le Havre shouldn't have been the team to break Lyon's winning streak but here we are. It was even a disappointing defeat like 3-1. Lyon are trying something recently but it doesn't last much long I'm afraid. At least their condition is better than the first weeks. Their number of points was really low before which was making things more difficult for Lyon to fight to be out of the relegation zone.

We are in the middle of the season now. They aren't late for anything. However they had better improve their form more to reach a safer position. No matter what the problem behind is Lyon should be able to stay in the Ligue 1 one way or another. 

Lyon consistency in the previous three matches in December failed to continue, Lyon was tripped up again by Le Havre at the start of their campaign in the second half of the season. In the 18 matches played, Lyon was only able to achieve 4 wins, 4 draws and 10 defeats. Lyon automatically occupies 16th position in the standings, which means they are on the relegation play off route, the difference between the number of goals scored and Metz who are in the same level by collecting the same number of points, namely 16 points. The hope of getting up and moving away from the red zone gained had time momentum, one of which was when they managed to beat Monaco in Week 16.

I no longer understand why Lyon is so down this season, even though the signs have been visible from previous seasons, but personally I don't imagine that Lyon will be in the relegation zone for half a season. Their movements in the January transfer window were also not very active, if I'm not mistaken by referring to transfermarkt records, Lyon brought in 3 new players for three different positions. I hope they can improve in the future, at least they can stay in Ligue 1 by escaping the threat of relegation, otherwise Lyon has nothing to be proud of this season.

As a club that once achieved glory and dominated Ligue 1, Lyon has now turned into a mediocre club. Where Lyon is now used as a points barn for other Ligue 1 teams, this is no longer about the ups and downs of performance, but rather a storm of destruction. I think that in their future matches against Rennes, Marseille and Montpellier, they also have the potential to lose points. The players mentality is very poor, the club finances do not support building a squad that can have competitive value, it would not be surprising if next season we don't see Lyon in Ligue 1. That is the true fact, even though at the beginning we hope for the best for them in the future.

Nice is not yet convincing enough to catch up with PSG, which currently has a difference of 8 points. I don't think Nice is trivial, but PSG is indeed a super power team compared to the teams you mentioned. So it's no wonder that this season PSG will win Ligue 1 easily again.

Correct. It could be that for Mbappe, this will be his last year with PSG because rumors are growing that he will leave after this season finishes. Of course PSG fans want to see that before Mbappe leaves, PSG must win the UCL League. Even though PSG are not currently favorites, there is no harm in hoping that a miracle will come for PSG this season.

In several previous posts, I have reviewed a little about the team that is ranked 2nd in the Ligue 1 standings. Yes, the Nice team squad, this is the team we are discussing in this post. I don't want to say that Nice is a strong team, but they have been fortunate to have a pretty solid defense so far. That's why, Nice is the team that has conceded the fewest goals in its 18 matches and the team that has scored the fewest goals compared to the teams in the top four of the standings. well, now Nice is 8 points behind PSG. Plus, Nice's defeat against Rennes seems to be starting to make this team a little loose. Thus, Nice has experienced 3 defeats in 18 matches. Meanwhile, PSG is a little more relaxed at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

Talking about Nice's match against Metz, they should be able to maximize their chances of getting full points. At least, Nice maintains its ranking in 2nd place. because if they only get minor points, it means AS Monaco can overtake the ranking they currently occupy. But don't expect that Nice will be able to score a lot of goals. We'll see if Nice can maintain its position against Metz. or, AS Monaco will take over even though their opponent is Marseille. So, let's just wait for this week's match to take place.

yes PSG dominates the league. no one will be able to catch up with the current point difference. and they will play more comfortably now in the league and will be very focused on the Champions League.
It is also important to note that PSG is very productive in scoring goals. This season in Ligue 1 he has scored 19 goals. and it will not be overtaken by its competitors.
Last season we could see that Lens might be competing quite closely. but this season PSG has nothing to stop them.

If there are many people who say Mbappe is currently in the wrong league, this should have been said long ago. Because Ligue1 is not as famous as other leagues such as in England and Italy, but at least Mbappe is already known to many people through Ligue1 and still has time to move to another league if he really wants it this season or the next season. PSG looks strong only because their opponents are not balanced enough in Ligue 1, but when they compete in the Champions League I think the story will be very different because PSG could lose to another stronger team.

Expecting Lens to get a tie is not fair to them, they are not that great at the rankings already, and expecting them to get point from this game? PSG is by far the best team in the league, and I do not care which team we are talking about, PSG has the ability to beat them all. So, the fact that you would expect them to make something out of that? I do not think so, I think that would not make any sense at all.

I believe that the best thing we could do regarding this situation would be just making sure that we are dealing with a normal problem in the end. I get it, it is not that simple, and I get that you are not going to get it all, but you have to realize that it is not going to be all that easy for people to figure things out. PSG is just too good for anyone.
