I have tried to predict the outcomes of this match based on Nice statistics during this season at home because i thought they can able to performing well today because although Nice performance was decline but at least they still able to gets positive results from home previously but clearly i was wrong because Nice was return to lost again even from Montpellier which is weak team and during 2024 i can see Nice was hard struggling to managed their consistency and this loses is became an their 3rd loses since January

For other match Lorient vs Lyon and both teams have the same missions that they want to avoiding relegation zone and survive at Ligue 1 and the recent performance from them also looks equal because they can gets 4 wins each from 5 latest matches so they are in the good shape and very interesting to know who is the winner of this match but i just realized Lyon main striker Alexandre Lacazette was got injured so this makes Lyon unable to performing well last week because they lost from Lens and today too Lacazette will be doubtful to played and based on head to head statistics i can see draw results is dominated because in the last 5 meeting both teams can playing draw 3 times and actually if Lacazette playing there is a chance for Lyon to win this match but if he really absense i highly doubt they can beat Lorient today but i am thinking possibility the match will ended to draw and this option has high odds @3.50

Nice has a clearly decline, this happens if the coach incorrectly brings the team to the peak of their form earlier than necessary. Look how Enrique did it, PSG started very hard, but now it is clear that they have reached their peak, and this is very correct, because it is important for the team to show the best game in the end. For Nice, everything happened differently, they started well, but now they are losing everything they could achieve, this is a bad strategy. After they conceded in the 10th minute through an own goal, 2 minutes later they quickly scored a goal back, I thought that would be the turning point in their victory because at first they responded quite quickly. But in reality they couldn't do anything after the second time they were at a disadvantage because they were given a penalty. The 2-1 score lasted until the end of the match.

Maybe in this match they were just unlucky because basically they also played quite well. However, the real problem is when they don't have a sharp front line, so that makes it very difficult for them to score goals even though they actually have lots of opportunities and control the match. I've said from the start, if they can't improve their attack line, then they won't be able to compete in the standings. And indeed that happened, and even now they are thrown far from their initial standings which once sat at the top of the standings. This is quite unfortunate because at the start they had such big hopes but they couldn't match it with their good play in all positions.

Actually nice played quite well in the match and even they were able to score 1 goal when the game entered the 11th minute but unfortunately an own goal forced Nice to work harder to stop Montpellier in the match, but unfortunately they actually got a penalty after one of their players was hit by the ball in hand after the refere checked Var and made Montpellier lead 1-2 from Nice.

The win over Nice moved their position up to 12th place while keeping them out of the relegation zone in the meantime, just like you., I also thought before that Nice would be able to win the game because Nice who have better quality than Montpellier should be able to get 3 points to also secure their position at the top,  defeat against Montpellier will certainly make Nice position to get into the top 4 will be very difficult and even their position may drop if later Lens can win over Brest in week 25 of Ligue 1.
At the moment Nice seems to be very difficult to make their position safer at the top level, especially they will face Lens who are also quite strong and have a very good performance so far in the league..

But it cannot be denied that in this match in terms of strength and schemes carried out Nice is a good club, it's just that the strategy they carry out is not better than Montpellier because precisely in this match we can see that Nice is stuck in the rhythm they created themselves because of several situations that did not go according to their will.
In this match we could see that their attacking line had problems in finishing as Montpellier defended and restricted Nice's attackers in their movement to attack.
Other than that, I quite liked the way Montpellier waited and were patient with the momentum. It was a clever way to make Nice's rhythm break down as they lost possession and were more defensive, which required them to be more patient in waiting to counter-attack.

Another advantage of Montpellier is that some Nice players who make mistakes are used as momentum to their advantage which makes Nice have to be willing to lose points in this week's match.

I agree that Lille and Monaco have shattered PSG's dominance, but I think they did so because PSG dropped the ball rather than the other clubs improving. From what I've seen, PSG's system is too well-oiled, backed by a financial behemoth that makes them stronger after every loss. Not only having top players - their depth lets them weather any storm.

I agree with you about PSG's season. Others seem unable to catch them at the top of Ligue 1. I think PSG will remain dominant without Mbappe. Their spending on top-tier talent sets a standard that other teams cant match. Spending intelligently is PSG's specialty.

After 4 matches without a win, I thought this would be a turning point for Nice and looking at the results they ended up continuing this losing trend. It doesn't make sense to see this team decline so drastically and the problems that exist are still unknown to this day. Even though it was a home match and usually Nice is much stronger to secure victory. However, what was seen was that the visiting team succeeded in pressing them so that defeat was inevitable for Nice.

Nice's first mistake from an own goal caused damage to their defense and Montpellier felt confident from the goal. Even though Nice responded with a quick goal, with so much time remaining they were unable to turn things around. This result makes Nice uncertain in 5th position in the standings and many teams can start to displace them and for Montpellier with this victory at least they can breathe fresh air from the relegation zone.

Every time you see Ligue 1 teams meet, especially bringing together two teams that are in at least the top 5 or 6, it will be a match that is difficult to predict. The problem is that they often show great inconsistency, which makes me hesitate to determine which team will win the match. Lens and Brest both have the same chance of winning, but I don't understand why the bookie gives odds like that, because in my opinion they are thick odds. However, it seems they have a different assessment so they provide the current odds.

I was wrong because at the start I expected them to be able to compete closely with Paris Saint Germain, because in reality, now they have to accept defeats repeatedly, even 5 matches in a row without winning. This is a very bad result for those who at the start were at the top and in some time they even managed to become leaders of the standings. This is how Ligue 1 teams work, they are only good at the start of the season, but after that they will continue to decline and eventually reach their weakest point in the game.

It doesn't really matter with the game stats and statistical data, what matter was the winning goal that separated both sides on goals. Surprisingly how Nice was defeated, and they're in the competitive top four this season, this is not losing morale but keen on winning the necessary matches. Losing the derserveable points doesn't make a competitive elite team be classified as average. Will I call it luck or mere coincidence that happen on the losing end for Nice? They're dominately crucial in winning matches and takes it to the top level of performance.

Nice's performance in Ligue 1 is increasingly declining after failing to win in the last 5 consecutive matches, the defeat to Montpellier last night meant that Nice had to drop out of the Champions League spot. One point achieved in last five matches after drawing against Clermont Foot make Nice have working hard in several matches left in Ligue 1 to get their top fourth standings position in this season. Unbelievable with current poor performance of Nice started well in the early season and success pressure PSG on the top standings position but had losses their winning trend in last several matches.
Behind fewest points difference with top fourth standings position actually not close yet with Nice opportunity for finishing on Champion League spot, must win in 9 matches left to get one ticket for participating in Champion League next season.

Well, Nice performed again with bad performance, they suffered a defeat against lower middle class team like Montpellier and this is the result of the match for the umpteenth time which has made many people really doubt Nice.
They performed very well at the start of the season and from some of the previous bad results I thought they could learn and try to perform better but in reality everything is the same and shows that Nice is not team that can be used as favorite.
Nice stability and consistency have been completely destroyed after entering the middle of the season until now and it seems like there will be an opportunity for Nice to face conditions where the decline in standings ranking becomes even worse.
They made mistake which gave Montpellier 1 goal lead and after two minutes Nice were able to put up resistance which made it 1-1 draw but in the end they made another mistake which resulted in penalty.
1 - 2 result lasted until the match was over and this defeat occurred because of the mistake of the Nice players who acted too immeasurably, I think mistakes like this must really be corrected because they are very detrimental to the team if they happen again.

But they will have much more difficult match, namely in the French Cup quarter-finals where they will meet PSG, this will be bad match and could knock Nice out of the competition.

Supposedly, this is a fairly important match for Nice, a match that can help their club stay in that ranking or even climb higher. Because, in that match, their opponent was Montpellier, a middle-class club.

However, in fact, not all expectations will be fulfilled.
Nice actually lost to Montpellier. And the defeat was due to the fault of the Nice players themselves. OG by Todibo in the 10th minute really made the players lose their enthusiasm. Luckily they were able to equalize again at 1 - 1 just 2 minutes later.

However, on the other hand, Nice again made quite a serious mistake. So there was a penalty kick for Montpellier. This completes Nice's failure to win this time.  Moreover, they, lost at home match.
So, that's it. again, disappointing result for Nice, during their 5 consecutive match poor results.

Montpellier was really lucky with the various gifts from Nice this time, so they were able to win quite easily this time. Apart from that, they also played quite well, but this time, luck was so big.

The two times that Monaco and Lille was able to break Paris Saint Germaine's dominance in the French league, I think it was simply caused by the club's very poor performances not because they didn't have players that are very capable to beat the rest of the teams in the league as of that time. However I think to break the current dominance of Paris Saint Germaine would definitely be very difficult even when their best player Kylian Mbappe leaves the club at the end of the current season.
In modern day football, a team will have to spend hugely in the transfer market to be able to remain in competitive their respective leagues and any other competition and while Paris Saint Germaine is spending huge amount of money to sign footballers, their other counterparts in the French league are busy signing either average players or experienced players who are nearing their retirement from football.
So if you ask me, I think Paris Saint Germaine will continue to dominate the French league in many more years to come if the owners of the other French teams continues to spend small in getting quality players. Paris Saint Germaine are currently the defending champions of the French league and I don't think there's anyone that's gonna stop them from retaining their title

The extremely poor outcome greatly harms Nice, currently competing at the top. In their last five matches, they managed only one win, losing four times and drawing once. Achieving just one point from five games is a very poor outcome. Even at home last night, they lost to Montpellier, who currently ranks 12th in the temporary standings. Even more concerning, before facing Montpellier, a team in the relegation zone, Nice was ranked 16th. Securing a poor result against a relegation-threatened team and playing at home resulted in a loss.

Brest hasn't been weak neither has lens aswell, both teams have fallen within average performance and it's important to know that even lens is a very good team and has in their last five games lost only one drew and won the rest, they are at the Sixth position with thirty nine points as at the time of this post, having lost one of their last five games only, they have allhad a few good performance this season but not against big team.

Brest is surprisingly at the second position on the table with a very good point difference away from PSG who is at the top of the league table leading, breast in their last five games were able to win all three and lost none, they only drew the other two which kept them at the second position on the table with fourty six points keeping them nine points away from PSG who's at the top of the table with with over fifty points. Both teams playing Against each other will really be an interesting game especially going by their statistics so far both on the table and with their performance.

Breast may appear to be the favourite in this game based on their performance already and their position in the table where they stand at the second but it's not a reason their opponent should be underestimated of which I'm very sure both teams are most likely to get a goal by the end of the game and possibly they may end the game in a draw and both teams share points because they are appearing like they have got equal strength.

Whatever it is, what is certain is that this match was won by the away team with a final score of 1-2. yeah, Montpellier was able to beat Nice at the Allianz Riviera, the home of Nice's own squad. as I said in the previous post, gradually Nice will experience a decline in its ranking. in this match, even though Nice actually controlled ball possession, they had difficulty breaking into the opposing team's goal. in fact, Nice had 19 total shots, 5 on target, 2 big chances, but only one was converted into a goal. in the end, Nice remained in 5th place in Ligue 1. Meanwhile, Montpellier was temporarily in a safe zone even though they had a narrow point difference from the team ranked 16th.

Tomorrow, Lens will play a match against Brest at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis. even though Brest is in 2nd place in the Ligue 1 standings, Lens is superior based on the odds provided by the bookies. even though, Lens is ranked 6th in the standings. however, it is clear that this match will be an important match for the two teams that will compete. Brest, will try to maintain the position they currently occupy. meanwhile, Lens will have the ambition to overthrow their opposing team to replace Nice and Lille if they are able to take advantage of the momentum of winning the match between these two teams. in fact, I assume that Lens will do a good job in the match against Brest tomorrow. so, we are waiting for this match to take place.

Now the match is not very favorable for Nice because with the crucial time running out they still can't equalize the score which makes it possible for them to lose today's match.
Montpellier had the benefit of an own goal and a goal scored from a penalty but it was all down to some early mistakes by Nice.

This was exacerbated by Nice's poor finishing and looking at the conditions on the pitch today I don't think Nice will be able to equalize the score although there is still time left but with their poor attacking patterns I think it will be very difficult for Nice and they lose points in today's match.

I agree about betting in this game being risky because I think this time betting on Brest can be a wise choice but we can't forget that Lens is not a weak team and they had good performance in many games we saw from this team. In fact, Lens got enough power to even beat Brest with all the good results Brest got so fart during this season.
However, Brest is a team they are racing at the top of the table and they don't want to lose their place by losing points in this match.
Talking about the risk, betting is always risky but if you don't take a risk you can't get a reward and considering the reward I can see, I guess it is worth taking the risk.  

The game has lasted a few minutes but the score of the two teams has 1-1, Montpellier was lucky enough to get a todibo own goal in the 11th minute, due to a crisis in front of the Nice goal after a corner kick was made, it didn't even take long for Nice to respond to the loss with a goal from Boga in the 12th minute, it only took a minute for Nice to equalize the score to 1-1,  Isn't that fantastic enough?
Nice who are currently trying to end the season in European competition next season do not seem to waste the game day to get 3 points and make them climb to a better position later, until the 40th minute I have not seen any sign of Montpellier resurgence in today's match which does look very depressed due to the attack carried out by Nice and even the Montpellier players more often have to defend rather than try to attack Nice, so far I haven't seen any effective attacks by Montpellier players and until the game was almost over Montpellier only got 0 chances compared to Nice who had 2 shots on target and that's why I think today first half will end in a draw with a score of 1-1 and 3-1 for Nice victory looks like it will be the final result of today game.

Even though Nice and Montpellier have not had good results recently but still, based on home factors and also based on head to head records and also based on their position in the standings, I think it is clear that Nice is still a better team compared to Montpellier. However, based on the available odds, it seems clear that Nice is the favorite team to win and therefore, I personally do not doubt the quality that Nice has if only compared to Montpellier, of course Nice is better than Montpellier . So yes, with my confidence in Nice in this match, I will not miss this match to bet on Nice to win in this home match. At least, Nice must also have a target of beating Montpellier because, in fact, in their first meeting this season in Ligue 1, Montpellier managed to hold Nice to a draw. So, although it may not be completely easy for Nice to win, because Nice is playing at home it is a target that must happen to beat Montpellier in their second meeting this season.
