The Lens team is only 4 points behind PSG. Expect the lenses to match themselves brilliantly next season. Because the Lens team is impossibly improving after PSG in League One.
Lens had a very good season, and they will be rewarded by playing in the champions league next season, but i don't think they can do better than what they have done next season, because better than this will mean winning the Ligue 1 title, and i don't think any team can win the Ligue 1 title from psg. The Ligue 1 is almost the same thing as the bundesliga with Bayern munich winning the title every season, that's the same way psg wins the Ligue 1 title every season, the big clubs in France have to do more in order to challenge psg and win the title from them, so that the league can be competitive.
There's no doubt that Lenz had a good season and they need to celebrate it. Even now they qualified for Champions league, what I expect Lenz management to do is to reinforce thr squad. Just invest money and use the opportunity to make Lenze a strong threat to PSG, in no distant time they will be able to win the Ligue 1 title.
But if they just leave the team that way, go to Champions League and be kicked out of thr group stage, they will not be able to grow and in the next season, they will even struggle to join top.

Agree with this, Whether or not a new manager is present or not I think this doesn't really affect in this case, especially since we all know that it was Messi's contract that did run out and on several occasions, the lack of disciplinary problems from Messi and the PSG fans who demanded too much made this relationship is getting strained.
Sooner or later, something like this is bound to happen regardless of anything. Now that Messi is just waiting to see what Neymar will do after this because looking at the conditions the possibility of him leaving is also very big now with their current condition.

Now PSG have to try to get back with their money, let's hope they don't go back to looking for players who have run out of time just because of the big names that have been done before.

I read that the PSG fans blame Messi because he wasn't as passionate about PSG as he was about Argentina's national team. Which in my opinion is a joke because why do the PSG fans not understand that they are fans of a team that is full of mercenaries? Neymar isn't playing for PSG because PSG is real soccer tradition. Mbappe same thing. Messi went there for fun and money, but not because PSG is the club every young boy dreams of.

I am sure that Messi has long made his decision, long ago. Probably a few months ago.
This doesn't seem too strange for them and I'm not too surprised by the behavior of the fans from PSG because this sort of thing happens often and it's not the first time they've done it.

They were excited at first when Messi arrived but now they are also the ones complaining about it. They seem to have to reflect a little on the current conditions, even though they want good things for their club, but by not having too much respect for the players, it's too much and doesn't reflect good fans.

This decision has been made since the beginning it seems and if it's not, it's impossible for him to make noise again and again even on vacation when they have to play Grin

Marseille have been a big disappointment to me for this season. They couldn't even compete with Lens very well and they lost their position to them. Now Lens are going to be the one joining the Champions League group stage directly. Considering how strong Marseille started to the season I wouldn't have expected such result to be seen.

They have had serious level of inconsistencies after some time. I had doubts about Lens to do this much good but they really have done so far. They even maintained their title chance mathematically until the final weeks. Marseille need to learn their lesson from Lens' success to fight for the better next time.
They lost a lot of points which left them behind Lens and now they have to settle for 3rd place in the final standings. Actually they played well if only they could maintain their performance well, but unfortunately they actually made a lot of inconsistencies which in the end made them unable to compete with Lens who are ranked 2nd in Ligue 1.

They have been starting this season with good performance but at the end of league Marseille has decline performance which make their position were overtaked by Lens and certainly they will finish at 3rd position below to Lens and this achievement is lower than last season and apparently Igor Tudor has been failed to bringing Marseille to compete for race title with PSG and the situation will became so hard for Marseille because last time i heard Igor Tudor has decided to resign although he has a contract until season 2024 but he feel he was failed and dissapoint the fans and the match against Ajaccio this weekend will be his last match with Marseille

I think it is time to appreciate really what Lens has done this season rather than saying that Marseille was too bad. If Marseille wins the last game they are going to end the season with 76 points. Apart from the fact that they recently also started losing a couple of games again, 76 points is an acceptable result and not really bad.

But on the other hand Lens has played an incredible season and they can finish the season with 84 points. They were even pushing PSG at times and who would have thought that before the season even started?

I think it is also hard for other Ligue 1 clubs to develop strength these days as PSG would probably buy a player from another French club when he seems to have superstar qualities. Mbappe is the best example. They either go abroad or to PSG.

hearing rumors from some of the talks it looks like the candidates already in sight are Zidane and Mourinho. these two coaches have different experiences and Mourinho has a lot more experience and is suitable to be a PSG coach but the question is whether Mourinho wants to leave Roma just to move to PSG. on the one hand Mourinho seems to still be comfortable in the team he is currently in charge of and for Zidane even though he also has the experience of winning the champions league trophy but I am not sure whether PSG also agrees if Zidane becomes a coach who can determine the future of PSG.

It's not true. I never seen latest news from zidane to be linked with PSG. There's no even a single news that was publishing him being linked to the PSG again. Mourinho has been also rejecting the rumor about PSG was interesting to sign him.
Mourinho has been even stated by himself before the match against sevilla if PSG never had any talk with him regarding the rumor.

I think that it's all still rumor. I don't even think zidane will be interesting to be a coach for PSG. In my opinion if zidane will be only willing to coaching what already become his former club in the past like madrid or juventus.

The chance for zidane to go to the PSG is very small at this moment.

Regarding the game between Marseille and Ajaccio, You are right because this game won't be an important game for any team. Especially when you consider this game as the final game of the season and even if any team loses the full three points or gets the three points from this game nothing will change and still, Ajaccio will be relegated, also Marseille will go for the Champions League qualifiers.
Maybe that's a good reason to say Marseille got much more chance for this match than Ajaccio.

Although this game will not be important for Marseille but I think they will still try hard to win the last game of the season. The defeat from of the relegation zone team is quite embarrassing, maybe that will be avoided by Marseille in this match, even this victory will also be the perfect closing for them this season.

I'm more interested in the Nantes vs Angers match.  Because these two teams are both in the relegation zone, but for Nantes they still have a chance to get out of the relegation zone if they can win this match.

Marseille will still try to aim for victory through the match against Ajaccio in the Ligue 1 opener this week. After the last two matches Marseille always lost, now for sure they will target the last victory to close the season with good results. For Ajaccio who are in the relegation zone there seems to be nothing to do and even if Ajaccio wins, they will still be relegated this season along with Troyes and Angers. On the other hand, Marseille is likely to remain satisfied with finishing in 3rd position and bypassing the Champions League via the playoffs first. So I think there's nothing wrong with betting on Marseille and it's guaranteed they will win even if by a narrow score.
After getting two bad match results, Marseille should be able to close this season with a winning, they also have to be able not to concede a goal in this match. Like the previous season, they also secured three points on matchday 38, so I'm also sure they can do it again. And to bet on Marseille isn't too bad either, currently the odds for them are around @1.36, the possibility of winning for them are quite high against Ajaccio although playing away.
Actually, the Ajaccio vs Marseille match will not be very important because Marseille is safe in its current position and has won a ticket to the champions league.
If Marseille loses against Ajaccio I think I won't be disappointed because the match is also at Ajaccio's home ground which has a slightly greater chance of winning.

Tomorrow we will know which team will relegate along with Angers, Ajaccio and Troyes.
Nantes were at risk in the 2020-2021 season but they remained in Ligue 1 after winning the play-offs . This time 4 teams will relegate directly in order to reduce the number of teams in Ligue 1 to 18. Nantes will face Angers and are expected to win, while Auxerre will face Lens with a higher risk of defeat. It will be exciting to see Nantes being saved another time in the very end of the season Wink
In the top ranking, Europa League group stage and Conference League spots are yet to be picked. Lille and Rennes have easy games and they should win and keep their places, otherwise they will risk seeing Monaco picking one of it.

Even if in this case it doesn't make any impact on their position in the standings, as you said, they still have to aim for victory in this last game because it's not wrong to close the end of the season with a win.
They had to be willing to drop points several times and of course in this match there is no reason for them to have to lose again, of course, moreover the opponent they will face is Ajaccio who incidentally is a club that has to leave Ligue 1 next season.
It would be very bad for the mentality of the Marseille players if they had to lose again for the third time in a row in the last match of the season.

Messi has left, lets see what PSG will do, they need better midfield and now they will need someone to replace Messi, which we all know will be hard, no matter how old he was, he was still messi and did some pretty magical stuff anyway, but missed some games. I am guessing that Neymar will be a no-show next season as well so I am guessing that its going to be something a bit more important, it will probably be something to care about and I believe that it wouldn't be really an easy fill.

Neymar and Messi gone, need of a midfield, and how much money could they even spend? I am not even talking about just their budget, which is of course limited even if its a lot, but I think they have financial fair play they will need to think about as well.

The lens is really unexpected, I didn't think they would be able to have 81 points (shifting Marseille and getting closer to PSG's points). marseille will face Ajaccio, losing or winning in this match will not change marseille's position in the top three while this last match will only have a big impact on Lens and PSG, if PSG lose to C Foot then Lens will become the champion.

It's only fitting that they can win this game against a relegated team who won't have any more motivation. Even though it wouldn't change anything, it would be really embarrassing if they had to lose this easy match. They had lost second place after an inconsistent display that cost them a lot of points, at least they closed the competition with a win.
I also think so that Marseille will feel a little embarrassed if they have to lose their last match of the season with an opponent who is not strong and I think Marseille clearly does not want to be embarrassed in their last match at home to their opponent so that Marseille will still try to win even though the position is very secure in third place in the Ligue1 standings and on the other hand Ajaccio also does not have enough strength to face Marseille in the last game at home.

Lacazette's performance until now has been incredibly good. He just brought back his old times immediately after leaving Arsenal and returning to Lyon. He had his best years with Lyon in the first place in the past obviously. But I still had doubts about him whether he would be able to perform that good again after this returnal. He made my doubts go away in a very short time after coming here.  Smiley

He has scored 27 goals in the Ligue 1 until now which is only 1 goal less from Mbappe. Considering Lacazette is 32 years old this is an amazing effort for him. He has given his best for the team throughout the season but Lyon still can't qualify for any European competition now. I liken Lacazette's situation with Lyon to the one Kane has with Tottenham now.  Sad

We have to admit that he played well this year. The team he is currently in is quite suitable for him, although his performance was good, I think he could not have played so well in a better league. He's older now and maybe he's having his best years.
It is certain that Lacazette will not be able to take part in the Premier League or similar difficulty again, he will now be remembered as the legendary player of Lyon Smiley

Even in head to head terms, Marseille also dominates with lots of wins, even though at the start of this season, Marseille had to lose with a score of 1-2 at home and the chances of winning seem quite decent even though Marseille are away from home, but it would be more optimal if we bet with a handicap (-1) with odds @1.51 because of course Marseille will not be satisfied with just a narrow win. Because I'm pretty sure that at least Marseille will be ahead by more than 2 goals in this match.

If it must be considered unimportant, then in fact the two teams will also not experience such a significant change in the position they occupy and the zone they occupy now. Because if for example Ajaccio wins tomorrow's match, Ajaccio also cannot get out of the relegation zone and so does Marseille who cannot be caught up by other rivals so that Marseille will still be in third place in the Champions League qualifying zone. And if for example Marseille wins there won't be any change in position so conditions will remain the same for Marseille.

This match shouldn't be a problem for Marseille, but don't be surprised if the results don't live up to expectations. even if Marseille wins the match, it will have no effect on them. however, to win the match to conclude the competition. at least, it was worth it for Marseille to fight for it. after all, even though Ajaccio played as the home team, it was not a significant obstacle for Igor Tudor's team to win. you could say, as the last practice at the end of the season.

Conversely, this match will also mean nothing to Ajaccio. after all, they can be sure that they will be relegated, which incidentally occupies 19th place on the Ligue 1 standings. Win or lose, nothing will change for them. after all, to overthrow Marseille is not an easy thing at all for Ajaccio. however, if this match is going to be a surprise, there's nothing wrong with reviewing whether Marseille will seriously play in this match. if the scenario is that the Marseille team will not be serious, Ajaccio's odds options are quite tempting @8,20.
