After mid-season we lost Ronaldo who went to the saudi league team, now we also lost Messi who played for the MLS team, it seems we will miss the days without the two GOATs and I think this might be a new era for other young players to continue the football tradition in Europe.

Coming back to Ligue 1, I think that the contribution this season has been extraordinary with PSG is just that the fans are turning a blind eye to Messi's achievements and I think this is the right decision for Messi to end his career in Europe because he has won everything for football.
To be honest, when I heard about PSG fans mocking Messi's performance for not being able to give the team the UCL trophy, I see Messi's decision to move as a wise decision.  GOAT will continue to change and we will see other top young European players who replace the two old stars.
I think Messi's decision is a logical choice as it is a very profitable deal for him financially. I don't know who will be the player to replace Messi, but PSG needs to think very well who they will choose.

Neymar still has a contract with Paris Saint Germaine that's still valid beyond the summer and I think he's not in a haste to leave PSG at the moment. Speculations about his future has been in the media space for sometime now but none of the speculations has been reported to come from him or has any of them come from his club PSG.
Yes, Neymar's contract at PSG, if I'm not mistaken, is still until 2025. However, Ten Hag once said he was interested in Neymar, because Man United needed a player like Neymar at his club. On the other hand, there are several other clubs that are also in the ranks of clubs who might be interested in bringing him on. If there is an agreement, it could be moved. But then again, these are rumors that have been going on since last season. And in the end, Neymar and PSG themselves can confirm how the 31-year-old player will continue at PSG.

I think Lionel Messi was not used well by the PSG team. Because with Lionel Messi you can achieve something unique. I think the PSG coach doesn't know how to use Lionel Messi. If Lionel Messi got a coach like Pep Guardiola, he would have created history by now.
I think the three main factors that are very important are comfort, the coach and the support of the supporters. It looks like Messi went to PSG because the salary is quite high for an age measure like him. In addition, in Paris Messi does not seem to have gained comfort in life. Then PSG fans also insulted him a lot because of the bad game. I think this accumulation made Messi have to leave. He needs a place where they are rewarded for the effort they have put in. A short year of time, but Messi is gone it proves PSG is not the right home for him to retire.

Wow, it seems Mbappe is going to leave Paris soon, I was not expecting to see PSG selling a player like Mbappe but after he rejected the offer for extending his contract, PSG said they want to sell Mbappe and this be a piece of good news for other teams they want to hire this player's and especially for Real Madrid because they wanted to hire Mbappe even in the previous season.

I don't know if Neymar is really still competitive for the Champions League title with PSG. But even if he is he can't even last for a season without a serious injury. Therefore it is difficult for him to be a part of this by being in action. He is getting injured very often as we have said before. Otherwise he is definitely a world star and in the time he was able to play his statistics were really good this season.
If there is really an offer from outside Europe then he should take it and go. He can make much more money in the meantime and return after some time if he would like. But now I think it will not be easy for Neymar to find a European team that would be eager to satisfy his high demands.
neymar is a good player but he has a bad habit that is the frequency of injuries lol, if only he can keep his body fit active then I'm sure PSG can go far enough in the past champions league. PSG has often dominated Ligue 1 but for the Champions League, they have not succeeded in getting it.

Neymar would have dominated Ligue 1 if his fitness was right, and if he hadn't suffered so many injuries. He has the potential to be the top scorer in the league. But every season he was plagued by injuries. And Neymar missed a lot of matches due to injuries. He has played 20 matches in Ligue 1 this season. Neymar scored 13 goals and 11 assists. He was able to perform quite well.

The rivalry has kind of ended a few years ago already. It was a bit of a slow process for us fans to understand that the big times between the two GOATs are over. I will definitely miss those times as it is still hard to imagine that we will get to see something like that again within our lifetime. We have been quite lucky to see Messi vs. Ronaldo in soccer and Federer, Nadal and Djokovic in tennis. I don't think that even Mbappe and Haaland can get close to that. If you take the number of individual titles or Ballon d'Ors, what is the chance that Haaland and Mbappe will 12 of them in the next 13 years? Cheesy
Time has passed and indeed the era of rivals for a goat is now over and of course we will look forward to other rivals because there will definitely be something like that.
Haaland can still do it and I'm pretty confident about that, as for Mbappe, it depends on the result I think. He is a very good player only when he is money-oriented thinking and still remains at PSG even though he has talent and is very good he still will not be able to enter the real realm.

I believe Mbappe will be successful in Paris SG. I must say that it has been successful so far. Messi and Neymar will leave the team. In this case, the main team of the team will chase the victory with the success of Mbappe. I also see a bright future for Mbappe. He may leave Paris in the coming years, but I don't think he will this year.

That is the pro and the contra about Neymar. When he is healthy he can be a decisive player and his actions are on a level that is rarely to be seen. But as soon as he gets injured he will leave a gap that is then hard to close with another player. But he is also not the strongest player in terms of mentality as he freaks out quickly and loses concentration and discipline as soon as a game isn't going as he wishes. He is not the player who is willing to fight for success and to suffer for it. He rather wants to be looking great and complain when things go wrong.

This season, Lens can be behind Paris Saint Germain and only have 1 point difference, it gives a signal that Paris Saint Germain is in a state that is not doing well. On the other hand, for Lens, if only they didn't experience a few slips, I think they would be above Paris Saint Germain, but it's a shame that unwanted things always happen and make them fail. Next season they will be in the Champions League and they have to be even better.

RC Lens is in second place in the Ligue 1 standings and being 1 point behind PSG is an achievement considering that in previous seasons they couldn't even be in the top 5. What they got is the result of their hard work, and they deserve to play in the UCL next season.

BTW, since Messi is no longer at PSG (because he will play with Inter Miami next season in MLS), will that have a significant impact on PSG's performance next season? WDYT?

Ah, apparently, we have to look at it through big glasses. we agree that what Lens is showing at this time must be given appreciation. in fact, Lens was able to shift the position of Marseille and Monaco, which in fact these teams usually occupy the 2nd and 3rd ranks. However, that doesn't mean "if" Lens doesn't experience a slip, that they can be ranked above PSG.

On the contrary, "if" Neymar and several of his players are not injured, PSG is able to widen the distance of points from the team below him. So it's very clear, that PSG is not in good shape. to be sure, SPG's situation since the beginning of the season is in a very bad trend. starting from the issue of problems in the locker room, the departure of Neymar, Messi, Mabbpe, all the media always exaggerate the problems that occur with PSG stars. and made worse by several injured players, especially Neymar. which in the end, as we see.

Well, the question is, can Lens maintain its performance and consistency in the next season. The reason is, their schedule is quite tight in the next season.

Yeah Messi has left and Neymar is also about to join him about leaving the team. Because according to the latest news, Al-Hilal team is seriously thinking of making an official offer for Neymar soon. Saudi Arabian teams have been after every player who is getting old day by day. They couldn't become successful about signing Messi so they are after Neymar instead now.

Neymar's salary right now is €36m per year. This is like nothing for Saudi Arabian teams. Oil money is like unlimited.  Grin  I don't know maybe Neymar would like to stall them a little bit just to see if he can get an offer inside Europe. Because he is much younger than Messi and he might still be competitive for winning Champions League titles.

But who knows maybe most of us will be wrong about Neymar and he will decide to stay instead. This might happen maybe if he doesn't get any offer inside Europe.

I don't think Neymar is going to stay. He must have had enough in PSG.

In my opinion, PSG does not deserve players like Neymar or Messi. We can also say that Neymar and Messi deserve a better team. PSG does not value experience at all. They only seem to value talent and they are also giving those players who have talent a huge amount of money and also authority which those players do not deserve. They have given the authority to only one player but I don't know if it is going to stay like that.

I believe Neymar will try to look for a big club and if he does not get that he will certainly leave and probably will also accept an offer from the Saudi league.

Of a truth it wasn't a great year for Lionel Messi at PSG but  I think it's high time we start to accept the fact that Messi is aging and wouldn't still be performing like the Lionel Messi of 6 to 10 years ago.
He exhausted much energy in the world cup Last year and after the World Cup tournament, he also can back to Paris and still did quite well. PSG fans didn't respect him in his last days at the club which is very poor from them
Good to see how time flies in football, the undisputed GOAT do part ways to European football. When PSG concedes a goal, fans boo Leo Messi as if he's the one on the backlines or the club's goalkeeper. We should give credit to Messi, because he's has done a good job by rendering his service where it matters most for the club, he's a terrific and top-tier player. Leo Messi cannot give PSG the same performance he gave Barcelona and Argentina; he is aged, and certain attributes he lost throughout games. Leo Messi is a global figure in football, as every fan knows, and he has had a successful year in his career.
After mid-season we lost Ronaldo who went to the saudi league team, now we also lost Messi who played for the MLS team, it seems we will miss the days without the two GOATs and I think this might be a new era for other young players to continue the football tradition in Europe.

The players who joined PSG this season were usually choosing this team over other teams just because of earning more money there and nothing else, the reason for Messi left Barcelona was just because of the financial situation in Barcelona they couldn't supply the salary he needs that's why he joined PSG, you can't expect to see more from players where they give money more priority than other things.

Let's think in reality how is it possible for top players to play with high performance but with unclear salaries or even wages in debt.
I think it's only natural that Messi chose to leave Barcelona for a bigger salary because who wants to work hard as a top football player with a salary that doesn't match.
So Messi thought more realistically and chose Paris SG and has now moved to Inter Miami with a bigger payout as well.
There is a rumor that Lionel Messi will join Barcelona after one season at Inter Miami, if anyone knows how true that is. But in my personal opinion, Lionel Messi's football career needs to end in Barcelona. Because it was Barcelona that gave football to Lionel Messi.
I think its just a rumor at this point i agree with you i think he should retire at barcelona but unfortunatly he still want to play football and i don't think he is considering retirement so there is a high chance he will make it back to barca when he's ready to kick the bucket i think one of  the main reasons he chose miami is because of barcelona financial situation and they can't afford him.

Paris saint german next season.

No messi
No Neymar - potentially.
No ramos
No mbappe next year

I can imagine when PSG will be playing without any superstars on its club. This team gonna get factory reset again. As you can see that if PSG is not even determining who will become its new coach even when we are very close to the summer transfer season.
It seemed to me if PSG will be going back again as ordinary team in the league 1. It's not as a team with so many superstars like the previous seasons.
There will be so many things gonna happen with PSG.
PSG without superstars seems like that won't happen either, in the transfer market later they won't sit idly by, and I think they will target a lot of superstar players. Also if there is no Messi and Ramos doesn't seem to much take effect for PSG in Liga 1, because they still have Mbappe there, although there are a lot of rumors about Mbappe next season but I think PSG may can persuaded him with money.
