Paris Saint Germain are slowly rediscovering their game, but they still have a lot of work to do.

However, we would wait for the possible outcome of PSG and watched how everything will play out.

It was more important for PSG to get full points in this match. Because PSG still can't hold the top spot in the table. Even after winning this match, PSG team is 1 point behind Nice. The performance of the Nice team is quite consistent. And so it will not be easy for PSG to occupy the top spot on the table. Nice and PSG's title battle is going to be very intense this season. Lille's performance in the last few matches has been very strong. They are unbeaten in their last four matches. But it was unexpected for me that Lille would win against Monaco. I considered the Monaco team as favourites. Monaco played well enough and scored a lot of tries. However, they could not break Lille's strong defence. Lille's performance was very composed. They got an excellent 2-0 win.

That's why I believe that for their performance level throughout the season it will also be key to qualify for the next round in the Champions League. If they don't do that, I am sure they will crash again and then maybe another team like Nice or Monaco has a chance. But it should still not be underestimated as PSG will definitely be above 80 points and that is never easy to achieve for the other teams.

But overall PSG did their best even though they didn't get a clean sheet in this match, but this win was good for reducing points with NIce. PSG is always saved by Mbappe, but the combination of Mbappe and Lee Kang-in is PSG's future.

However, they are not completely bad and are currently almost able to overtake the top of the standings, so their chances of maintaining their dominance in Ligue 1 remain safe and under control.

The depth of the PSG squad is indeed very good, Enrique almost has two equally good teams, the main squad and the reserve players. This makes it easier to rotate players in each match, but sometimes they still have difficulty winning, and even experienced surprising defeats, such as in the UCL group phase against Newcastle.

Nice have finally captured the lead from Monaco and consolidated it after the loss Monaco got against Lille. Nice played a more comfortable game compared to them though. Because Lille are one of the decent teams of the season. But it still surprised me to see Monaco having that much struggle against them.

I would have expected to see some goals from Monaco. Instead they finished the first half by conceding two goals. Sad

Lille started to focus on keeping the score later on and Monaco were quite dominant in the second half. But still there was no goal. I hope they learned their lesson from this game.

PSG almost drew against Brest yesterday if not for the late hour penalty goal by Mbappé, they need to be consistent as well if they want to retain their title this season, well i don't think Rennes would win against Nice, cause Nice are more preferable to win the game based on a home advantage, however Monaco might drop points cause they'll be facing Brest, uhmm im not very sure about PSG vs Montpellier but i think PSG would win the game.

At least, for this week the points distance from the top 4 in the standings is not far apart, Nice with 22 points, PSG with 21 points, Monaco with 20 points and Lille with 18 points. It's quite competitive indeed, at least in the next few weeks. However, I doubt that Nice will continue with its positive trend. This means that next week Nice could fail to get full points when they host Rennes, however the temporary odds do not have a significant difference, even though the bookies still favor the home team. I suspect, this meeting will not produce any points. "This is just an assumption without basis", I mean, without any basis in research and analysis.

Likewise with Monaco. their defeat to Lille, as I previously predicted. If every match played by Manaco doesn't look solid, they will end up losing at home to Lille. Next week, Monaco will host Brest. As we know, Brest put up resistance against PSG last week. In the next match, something similar could potentially happen when Monaco hosts Brest this week. Well, these two teams have the potential to lose points this week.

My prediction about this match was not right and I was not expecting to see Monaco lose this game. I don't know how you feel about it but a manager can change a lot of a team. A team arranges their team with many good players but how to play in which position, how to plan against which team or why to raise which player and drop which player at any time.

This is what we saw with the previous team of PSG, no doubt the previous team had world class players but lacked a manager to give the right direction. If this team could have been guided in the right direction from that time, then this team would have at least won a Champions League trophy by now. Luis Enrique is working with this team and he has managed to change some areas of this team and that is definitely a positive change. If he works with this team for a long time, the performance of this team will change more.

I think each coach has a different strategy and approach, as well as analyzing the strength of the opposing team and maximizing the potential of the players in the squad. We certainly understand very well that to achieve success, coaches must be able to build a bridge between star players and other players, which in the end will be seen as a solid team. Pep and Zidane are good coaches, and I know very well what they have achieved, but there is no guarantee that either of them can deliver a Champions League trophy any time soon for PSG.

I think it's just a matter of time for PSG to realize their ambitions, ups and downs in performance are very normal. We will see how Enrique ends this season, how good his quality is so that management thinks he is worth keeping. Sometimes I remember Chelsea journey when they won the UCL for the first time with their interim coach at that time, and we have seen how many coaches Abramovich fired before Chelsea won it.
