Lacazette's performance until now has been incredibly good. He just brought back his old times immediately after leaving Arsenal and returning to Lyon. He had his best years with Lyon in the first place in the past obviously. But I still had doubts about him whether he would be able to perform that good again after this returnal. He made my doubts go away in a very short time after coming here.  Smiley

He has scored 27 goals in the Ligue 1 until now which is only 1 goal less from Mbappe. Considering Lacazette is 32 years old this is an amazing effort for him. He has given his best for the team throughout the season but Lyon still can't qualify for any European competition now. I liken Lacazette's situation with Lyon to the one Kane has with Tottenham now.  Sad

Lille will play their last match against Troyes. Troyes is one of the weaker teams this season. Troyes has no chance of getting out of the relegation zone. And so I don't think Lille will lose points in this match. An easy win awaits Lille. Unless they make a big mistake.
I can't call the BRest team weak against Rennes. However, the team is in the 14th position in the points table. But Brest won the last three matches. They are in a very good rhythm now. And so I won't be surprised if Rennes loses points in this match.
Indeed, Troyes is a small team and it is certain that they will be relegated this season, but if you look at Lille's previous performance against Nantes, they (Lille) benefited from 2 penalties which finally made them get an additional 3 points in that match. Lille played very badly and struggled to score from attacks and wouldn't this match be just as difficult for Lille against Troyes later?
Apart from that Lille must not underestimate even the smallest team and even though they are the underdogs, there will definitely be times when they slip up if they are not careful. For Rennes against Brest, it is likely that this will be a very fierce match, especially since Brest is the host, it will definitely not be easy to give up.

Lille's performance against Nantes was not good. They had 66% of the ball but didn't attack much. Lille were very lucky so they won. Lille scored both goals in the match from penalty chances. But I don't think Lille will make the same mistake two games in a row. If Lille plays an attacking strategy, breaking the defense of teams like Nantes and Troyes will not be a difficult task for them. Troyes defense is weak. And so if Lille don't make tactical mistakes in this match they will win.

Marseille will still try to aim for victory through the match against Ajaccio in the Ligue 1 opener this week. After the last two matches Marseille always lost, now for sure they will target the last victory to close the season with good results. For Ajaccio who are in the relegation zone there seems to be nothing to do and even if Ajaccio wins, they will still be relegated this season along with Troyes and Angers. On the other hand, Marseille is likely to remain satisfied with finishing in 3rd position and bypassing the Champions League via the playoffs first. So I think there's nothing wrong with betting on Marseille and it's guaranteed they will win even if by a narrow score.
It's only fitting that they can win this game against a relegated team who won't have any more motivation. Even though it wouldn't change anything, it would be really embarrassing if they had to lose this easy match. They had lost second place after an inconsistent display that cost them a lot of points, at least they closed the competition with a win.

After getting two bad match results, Marseille should be able to close this season with a winning, they also have to be able not to concede a goal in this match. Like the previous season, they also secured three points on matchday 38, so I'm also sure they can do it again. And to bet on Marseille isn't too bad either, currently the odds for them are around @1.36, the possibility of winning for them are quite high against Ajaccio although playing away.
Actually, the Ajaccio vs Marseille match will not be very important because Marseille is safe in its current position and has won a ticket to the champions league.
If Marseille loses against Ajaccio I think I won't be disappointed because the match is also at Ajaccio's home ground which has a slightly greater chance of winning.

Basically, these two teams or AC Ajaccio and also Marseille will remain in the same position even though the end result in this match is win or lose. Thus, they are free to play with any strategy, but when it comes to prestige and/or bonuses that may be obtained, then of course they will still play well to be able to win in this last match. But yes, considering these two teams have qualities that are clearly very different, then of course Marseille will be able to win in this last match.

Agree with this, Whether or not a new manager is present or not I think this doesn't really affect in this case, especially since we all know that it was Messi's contract that did run out and on several occasions, the lack of disciplinary problems from Messi and the PSG fans who demanded too much made this relationship is getting strained.
Sooner or later, something like this is bound to happen regardless of anything. Now that Messi is just waiting to see what Neymar will do after this because looking at the conditions the possibility of him leaving is also very big now with their current condition.

Now PSG have to try to get back with their money, let's hope they don't go back to looking for players who have run out of time just because of the big names that have been done before.

I read that the PSG fans blame Messi because he wasn't as passionate about PSG as he was about Argentina's national team. Which in my opinion is a joke because why do the PSG fans not understand that they are fans of a team that is full of mercenaries? Neymar isn't playing for PSG because PSG is real soccer tradition. Mbappe same thing. Messi went there for fun and money, but not because PSG is the club every young boy dreams of.

I am sure that Messi has long made his decision, long ago. Probably a few months ago.

The Christophe Galtier strategy has potential to Parisians, but the club problem transcends beyond that. PSG are more interested in signing big names rather than looking at the real issue, which is to build their club; additionally, they have too high standards for their domestic league; to be able to perform brilliantly in top competitions, they require players who are capable of comprehending superb performance in top leagues. Hiring or even bringing in Zinedine Zidane will not address the team's problems; they need good backup players and to regulate their wage balance, which is where the problem originates. Kylian Mbappe standing out as the highest paid player in Ligue One and completely outperforming top experience players in the club and the France league creates opportunities for intimidation and inferiority among teammates.
Before winning Champion League tittle I sure PSG tactician position still not secure although consistent won Ligue 1 every year, seems the same with Christophe Galtier position after failure in Champion League his position not guarantee as PSG's tactician for next season. Zidane looks right choose for PSG but I don't sure want to be PSG head coach and Zidane have not active as manager more than two years. Right now, Christophe Galtier position still secure and PSG not linked with new tactician for upcoming season.

PSG need balanced with their composition for next season, when main player injured like Mbappe and Neymar seems difficult for reserve player replace their position as quit well and PSG hasn't consistent performance in Champion League.

I think the first thing PSG needs for the next season is to hire another coach to replace Galtier because of the bad performance he had during this season and that's why I think there are many other options who can have better performance than Galtier, one good example is Zidane because of this pas experience of working with superstar player he surely knows how to deal with players like Mbappe and other players.
If they hire Zidane I think they should also start changing many players because the Zidane we know, is not a person to counties the way by other coaches, he is a person who needs to have some other players who can make the owners of PSG spend even more for the next season.

PSG is still searching right now. To be honest if mourinho was also interesting to be a new coach for PSG but the problem if PSG didn't wanna take him as a new coach which is really. Weird. i don't even know the way of PSG thinks about that but it seems like that if PSG is not willing to sign him as a new coach. Talking about zidane and so far there's no latest news about him. it seems like that if that's gonna be a problem for PSG if the club will try to sign amateur coach for upcoming season.

Let's wait for some candidates that may appear soon from PSG. In my opinion, if it's the time for galtier to be sacked. A new coach will able to build the team even better without stars player.

hearing rumors from some of the talks it looks like the candidates already in sight are Zidane and Mourinho. these two coaches have different experiences and Mourinho has a lot more experience and is suitable to be a PSG coach but the question is whether Mourinho wants to leave Roma just to move to PSG. on the one hand Mourinho seems to still be comfortable in the team he is currently in charge of and for Zidane even though he also has the experience of winning the champions league trophy but I am not sure whether PSG also agrees if Zidane becomes a coach who can determine the future of PSG.

Messi is about to be free agent and his priority won't be PSG that's for sure. Maybe things would have been different if PSG signed a more successful manager immediately. They are still discussing whether Galtier should be given another chance or not. This is an unsuccessful season and you shouldn't have the luxury to even discuss such thing as a result.

Messi and Neymar might even leave at the same time. Messi will wait to hear from Barcelona before making his final decision. If there is no offer then I assume he would continue with PSG for one more season instead of leaving Europe for Al Ittihad. When it comes to Neymar he hasn't got any offer yet. But if he gets from a big team then he might also leave quickly.
The certainty of Lionel Messi's future with Paris Saint Germaine doesn't have anything to do with wether PSG would get a new manager or allow the current manager to remain at the club.
Messi's saw that the club fans had became very uncomfortable with his presence in the club because they feel he's not doing as much as he's supposed to do for the club. That fallout started after Messi led Argentina and defeated France in the 2022  World Cup final but failed to help PSG go past the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League competition this season. Reports from the media suggests that he still wants to play in Europe

Assalamu Alekum
I honestly think that Galtier should have been fired already. That dude is not good enough for this team, he never had any experience this high before and he was suddenly hired for the spot, I get that there are some situations where people favor one over the other even if data doesn't back that up, it is a personal connection thing.

However, PSG is way too big for any of that, we saw what happened at UCL when you hire based on like and not merit. They need to get someone bigger. Last year I screamed Zidane all summer long and wanted them to get him, this year it is the same for me they need to get him. Zidane would take this team to UCL finals without a doubt, dude is magical at management and they are still not getting him. Pay him whatever he wants, doesn't matter how much, pay him as much as Mbappe if you have to and get him.

If they could get Zidane last year it would have been great for them. But they could not do that. It would have been much more effective if they could get him in the last season. Because I believe that team that they had in the last season was probably one of the best. And now some players are going to leave the squad.

I wonder if the squad is going to be as strong as it was before. I also honestly believe that Zidane could have fixed many of the problems that the PSG team was facing. But at the same time, we also have to think that probably Zidane is also not interested in managing PSG. So of course he will have to make do with whatever they have.

regards

duke

I agree,PSG has always had great players since the sheikhs took over but a thing that is coming to my mind now is how come that they never had a world class coach.I think Ancelotti would be a great choice to take there as I don't think he can give any more to Real Madrid and also Real Madrid should look for another coach,if they cannot manage to get Ancelotti they should get another one world class coach, one that has won everything but not like Tuchel who mostly won them because of chance, someone who has won everything fully deserving them.

Looking at the current odds, Nantes is indeed favored to win as well as escape from the relegation zone and it looks like this will be a bad trip for Auxerre who has to face the strong Lens team at the end of the season. I think the normal time odds are still too small for Nantes bets, so I think I will take the handicap bet -1.25 with odds @1.67 and I'm pretty sure that at least Nantes will win with a 2 goal difference because even if they are only 1 goal ahead they are still not safe to get a win . As for the Auxerre vs Lens match, it seems that I will not bet on this match, considering that the chances of both teams winning are still quite strong and it is possible that Auxerre can only play a draw against Lens later.

The odds is quite small caused by angers rarely winning the game in bundesliga. that's why bookies feeling so confidence to give small odds for nantes to win against angers. This is the last chance for nantes to leave from the relegation zone. Auxerre has no chanc eto win against lens. It needs a miracle to make it happen. As long as nantes will be fully motivated against angers and it can make a miracle to happen at the last match of bundesliga.

I do know that if nantes is still having a target that has not yet achieved by the club. it's to stay in bundesliga next season. Bundesliga gives very good income for nantes. It will be so bad if nantes will be relegated.
I hope that nantes's players will not be missing the last chance. Auxerre is also having motivation to win the game like nantes but it's quite impossible since lens has become the next opponent for auxerre.
It seems like that auxerre will be losing even though if lens will beat it with small scores.
