Honestly, I can't say much about this team. As you said, last season Lens managed to finish in 2nd place in Ligue 1. This season, Fanck Haise's squad looks completely helpless. At the start of this competition, in the first 5 matches, Lens was unable to win even one match. although one of the matches ended in a draw. After playing a draw in the League against Sevilla, Lens seemed to have strong motivation with two wins in Ligue 1 against Toulouse and Strasbourg. after that, they surprised by overthrowing Arsenal on the second matchday with a score of 2-1.

After that, there were various positive reactions if Fanck Haise's team would return to its original track. Unfortunately, the three matches after that in two different events only resulted in draws. Don't be surprised if Lens has the potential to achieve bad results when they host Nantes this week. In fact, I'm not at all sure if Lenz has a chance of qualifying for the next phase in the Champions League group phase. However, Lens is now in 2nd place with 5 points. There is potential if Lens falls when they visit PSV's headquarters, Arsenal, and host Sevilla.
IMO, one of the things that caused this team to experience a decline and change in performance was when they released several important players in the transfer window last summer. As for the newcomers, they didn't live up to the coach's expectations. or maybe, if the system Heise implemented was not ideal with the players available. Now, Lens is in an unsafe situation. they are ranked 15th two points behind Clermont.

So will there be any surprises in this match?
The current score is still tied at 0-0 in the first half and in the second half I'm pretty sure Nice will put pressure on in the second half to make the Clermont players mentally decline after that the Nice players will try to score and my prediction is still the same at least Nice will be ahead by 2 scores in the second half and hopefully there will be no surprise draw.

Internal politics is having deep causes for this all and if club management fail to settle things in near future then most chances we will have them relegated which could be surely the worst ever for the club and fans as well after 9 rounds they are not able to win any match and already having deficit of 11 goals which is surely not ideal for the team because now if we are able to check their fixtures list mostly they are having tough matches and with this look like they could be stayed at the bottom until new year and with this next round could be more terrible for them because having results like this most chances they could be not able to secure their survival and in last game they were not able to win match against another team at home which was also in relegation zone, so things are surely needed quick settlement.

Halfway through the match, still no team has scored a goal, both Clermont and Nice are still in the same position, namely 0 - 0. But I also have confidence that Nice will try not to lose this match and I I also don't think that Clermont will make another surprise in this match, because Nice's spirit is also much greater than Clermont's and this is very visible through Nice's control of the ball in this match even though there was a penalty which was missed as a goal in the 37th minute.

This season PSG will have a little difficulty getting first place in Ligue1, although perhaps in the end PSG will be able to be at the top again this season. But for now PSG must continue to try as hard as they can to beat two rivals who are very consistent in winning matches, namely Nice and Monaco. Even though it's not that far away for PSG to overtake the two teams this season, because in terms of points PSG is still very close to the two teams.

True, this could be a moment of revival for Lens in Ligue 1, but of course this will not be an easy match for Lens considering that Nantes has been quite consistent recently. So far RC Lens has @1.58, @4.2 for a draw and @5.6 for Nantes to win in 1X2 betting. Based on those odds, I think RC Lens can win bigger than you think, I think RC Lens 3 - 1 Nantes is quite reasonable.

The French league is now interesting and has many surprises, even a club like Lyon is now at the bottom of the standings. In the Clermont match against Nice, I will also bet on Nice, of course Nice in this match has its own ambitions, apart from maintaining their standing position, they also want to extend their unbeaten trend.

Nice is indeed the only club that has not been beaten this season from the 9 matches they have played, and with the opponents they will face this time it looks like they will be able to continue that positive trend. But on the other hand I am quite worried about them, because they are also one of the clubs that have not too good goal productivity. Only being able to create 10 goals from 9 matches in my opinion is a problem. Although they are also the club with the best defense so far, but if they cannot be more productive in scoring goals it will make them difficult in the future. I hope they realize their shortcomings in this regard.

Well you're right, not many clubs in the French League are financially capable of getting top quality players that would come into their club and make a difference for them, there are only few clubs that are capable of doing that and that's why the competition in the league is amongst those few and even the clubs that work hard and try to get to the top end up not being consistent thre following season due to same financial issues with many clubs in the league.

 This season Nice has turned out to be one of the best performing team in the Ligue one and they're really seriously challenging for the trophy and I think they have to be very consistent if they need make that happen cause Monaco are also in a good shape and together with PSG they'll give Nice a tough time to win the league this season

I want to correct your words it's not changing it is facing lack of funds and quality which is needed to be stood at the top with mostly clubs are having no enough players which can give them good quality game and things are going from bad to worse for them as well which is never been ideal for the soccer into this country many big clubs are also having not fair and good results in European competitions which are also the biggest concern alone PSG is giving all good for the years and others are having never been consistency.

Nice is surely doing good in this season and most chances we will have good race for the title from them with Monaco is also impressive now tonight Clermont is hosting Nice which is important game for them if they want to keep hopes alive then surely they need to win this match in case of result other than win they can slip from their current spot.

France League is changing, watching other competitive teams fighting to remain in good spots on Ligue One table is such an amazing action pulled by these teams. Nice is unbeaten, this stats giving them edge over Clermont tonight. I'm definitely going to place wager on Nice to bear Clermont, but observing the odds, I was kind of discouraged it was too small, I'm scouting for a good game with high odds that will double my earnings in the system. However, Hopefully Paris Saint-Germain will bounce back to reclaimed their position as Ligue One giants which they've always been.

Yeah it is worrying to see Lens being near the relegation zone truthfully. They were amazing last season and stayed in the Ligue 1 title competition for a very long time. PSG were even able to finish only one point ahead of Lens which proves my point. But this huge change is pretty awkward to me. 

Their situation is so similar to Sevilla now, completely true. You know how strong Sevilla were in the La Liga until the 2021/22 season. They have nearly always been a part of top 4 at the end of a season. But now they are lost and trying to find themselves again.

I hope both of Lens and Sevilla can make good progress in their domestic leagues.

It is logical to assume that the team in second place from the top will win against the team in second place from the bottom  However, I am not surprised that the odds for Nice to win are almost 2 (1.95), apparently the bookmakers take into account that Clermont does not concede many goals as an outsider, and Nice has certain problems with performance. The danger that the game will end with the score close or equal to 0-0 is great.

The recent game Clermont had against Lyon and they won the game is not a good reason to say Clermont has a good performance or they are in the good form yet, I think Clermont got no chance against Nice and they only won the gem against Lyon while Lyon is on the crisis and I think the rate in the game between Clermont and Nice is good enough if we bet on Nice.

I do not understand what causes Lyon to be this bad, but it's definitely not something they should be proud of, it looks like they are doing quite terribly all year long and I am not really expecting them to do any better. Of course they could get a little better on the rankings a bit, but I think it's not really that easy to handle.

I think it would be smarter if they ended up with something that should be a little bit fixing what's going wrong inside the club. Is it the ownership? Is it the management? The football director? The operations? The staff and the managers? Whatever is the thing that makes them this bad, they need to fix that first because they can't make the team better without figuring out what's wrong first.

Clermont is currently too weak a team to beat Nice, Struggling at the bottom of the table with hopes to leave the relegation zone before the league ends is a good level of weakness already exhibited, because they have played nine game already this season and they are able to get just five points keeping them just two points from the last position on the table, definitely they have had a really poor start this season.

Nice currently at the second position with good performance this season is a better side, Nice also have a better squad and dept as compared to Clermont so I almost don't see a chance for Clermont but then just like football will come with it's suprises at times, it's very much possible Clermont fights to get a draw as they will be playing from home, that advantage is all they have gat in this game.

PSG tried hard to appoint Zinedine Zidane as the manager of PSG but they could not complete the contract with Zinedine Zidane because Zinedine Zidane might be waiting to become the manager of a club like Real Madrid.
Luis Enrique is best as Zinedine Zidane's next choice. He has proved in several matches that he is a great manager. I don't think this team would have improved so much if any other manager had taken charge of this team in the situation of PSG team. Zidane never had interest to be PSG's coach but some media stated that if zidane has been also talking about the possibility of him to become a coach for marseille. he wants to join in marseille as long as that club will be sold to the saudi investors.
PSG has been spending billions since a few years ago with the hope to win the UCL trophy but the result is still zero till this time. PSG is also wasting so much money after messi and neymar left from the club to recruit a lot of players. I think that PSG was not in a good balance sheet right now.
The club has monetary problem but it's not being disclosed by the club. I don't even know why this club was still able to staying away from the FFP regulation.

I, like everyone, really want Luis Enrique to do well with PSG. PSG has been having a tough time finding their best form this season, and there are a few reasons for that. Enrique should remember that PSG is not Barcelona, where it's all about Tiki-Taka style of play. To change things for the better, they needs to make some adjustments. They should work on their defense. Right now, they're giving away too many opportunities to the opponents, and they need to be strong both in defense and attack. They slowly but surely, they can become a strong team in the UCL and Ligue 1.

Their performance this season is very promising and they have never lost at all, and are currently in second place in the standings. I think this season PSG is under greater pressure than in previous seasons. Monaco currently leads the standings temporarily with 20 points, while PSG is in third place.

The tenth week will open with Nice versus Clermont, I think this will again make it difficult for Clermont to get out of the degradation zone.
