It is no doubt that Mbape have been the reason PSG are still doing well,and if you look at their first two matches when they played without Mbape,they were just an average team,but Mbape makes them better.

Brestois was playing against a team like PSG with many superstar players they had while PSG spent a huge amount of money during the summer and Brestois didn't do that. I think even Brestois was about to make PSG stop and make problems for this in this game because of the close game we saw especially in the first half. However, Mbappe could even score three goals in this match if he didn't lose the penalty kick.

This round was a round of games with many surprises in all the leagues that I follow and place my bets on, it seemed like it was normal for a team to be winning comfortably and for them to draw and lose or win. in this case of PSG it was something much stranger because the favorite team is bigger than in this case and PSG was winning by 2 goals, they were supposed to maintain a good defense and thus achieve a more relaxed victory, but to my shock in 10 minutes PSG conceded 2 goals, it becomes a joke when the scenario is that the first goal they conceded was in the 43rd minute of the 1 half and just when the game starts in the 2 half they suffer the second goal and the game is tied

PSG's luck was that they scored a goal in the 88th minute, very close to the end of the game and with that they managed to win this game, but Nice also won and with that PSG remains in second place, but the difference in points with the first place and only 1 point, and speaking of first place, nice are currently in first place, in just 9 games they scored 11 goals and conceded 4 goals, they have one of the worst attacks, but they have the best defense, I don't know how they manage still remain at the top of the table with their weak attack, but their good defense could undoubtedly make them finish in a good position. something that would allow them to go into the European champions league

Nice's next game will be against Rennes, without a doubt it will be a very difficult game for Nice, I don't know if they will be able to win, but at least a draw is more likely to be achieved or even a victory, while PSG will have a game that it won't be very difficult but it won't be very easy either, although the opponent is not very strong, it is still an opponent that has decent results, so PSG will need to play cautiously and have good defense if they want to come out of this game with victory and who knows, maybe they will take the first position

Mbappe role with PSG is so big because he has been PSG goal machine for several seasons and of course PSG have high hopes for Mbappe so they are willing to do anything so that he doesn't go to another club. So, if Mbappe one day leaves for another club, of course we can't imagine how PSG would play without Mbappe. Today victory was also due to Mbappe role because the two he scored made PSG secure full points in today's match.

For now, PSG continues to put pressure on Nice in the standings where currently the difference in points between the two is 1 point. Psg will take over the top of the standings next week and I am sure they will be able to do it. For PSG to win the Ligue 1 trophy, of course there will not be any big obstacles for them because slowly they are able to get rid of several teams that were previously above their ranking.

One of the characteristics of a team that are potential league winners is that there are matches that they won't aren't convincing enough to get all three points but still ends up winning the game and the outcome of Paris Saint Germaine game against Brest looks like one of those results. The host team played the game like they were playing in the final of a major tournament. But the French champions still found a way to win the game thanks to the incredible performance of their talisman Kylian Mbappe who scored two goals in that game.

They are not really finding back their dominant game. I don't know why because the players they have are really strong especially in the offense. It seems that they mostly suffer from inconsistencies in their defense, but even then they have lots of games that they win in the last few minutes.

Lyon won't win this game, I think that's how it ends. Marseille is a stronger team than Lyon this season, especially in defense. Lyon are really slumped at the bottom of the standings and they are having a really hard time getting up and improving their form. The morale of the players was compromised as they had never won a single game out of the 9 games they had played, so I thought Marseille's victory seemed good to hope for.

Monaco failed to maintain their best form to win when they were beaten by Lille 2-0. This has allowed PSG to surpass Monaco on points with a win against Brest. PSG won a difficult match, in fact I don't want to have Ligue 1 as a farmers' league when all teams can play well even if they lose.

Mbappe once again showed how important he is to the french team with his saving goal that earned them the victory at the end of the day. This has now proven again they the importance of mbappe to PSG I very much visible so his leaving the team at any point will have a great impact on the performance of the team both in their domestic league and the UCL and that's why they were trying to make sure he renews his contract few weeks back.

As against some persons perspective that his leaving will not have mucy effect on the team, it has been proven today again, when the likes of Messi and Neymar left PSG, the trio they usually had was no longer there but then mbappe was able to.make up for the gap and PSG came back on their feet although for awhile the effects of these guys absence was felt but mbappe covered up for that, so by this I can say for sure if mbappe leaves PSG it's going to be a disaster even if we don't want to accept now put it will definitely play out when he leaves.

About 50 minutes from now, the 10th Ligue 1 match between Marseille vs Lyon will be played.
Marseille in this match was the host and Lyon came as the visiting team. Lyon's position is currently very low in Ligue 1. How could it not be, already entering week 10, Lyon have only collected 3 points and they are sinking at the bottom of the standings.

Yes indeed, it is unfortunate that PSG still has a great dependence on Mbappe. Because of course, it will be very bad if in the future if Mbappe leaves and at the same time, PSG does not have a suitable coating to replace Mbappe. Brest weren't that much impressive actually but they still scored 2 goals. They didn't have much goal expectation in the first half for example. As for PSG they played as usual relying on Mbappe's contribution desperately. He was nearly messing it up though as he missed the penalty right before their winning goal. But he was lucky that the ball came back to him after the save.

I was expecting a win by a close score from PSG in this game so I'm not surprised. However I hope that we see other members of the team scoring more goals in the future also. Otherwise I can't imagine what PSG can do in the absence of Mbappe for some reason. 

Honestly they are not all that great right now neither but doing better for sure. They got 1 draw and 4 losses for a total of 1 points on their first 5 games, and they got 3 wins and 2 draws for a total of 11 points on their second 5 game run. That is definitely a great run and should be congratulated but not entirely sure how further they could go with that. I think it's clear that we are talking about a situation that will take a while, but I believe that we are going to have to wait and see before we can make a judgement.

Sometimes teams have hard time starting because their summer didn't go according to plan, it could be injuries, it could be just not caring and not training and just vacationing a lot, it could be late transfers that didn't adjust in time, there could be many reasons why a team may not start all that well. I think it's obvious that we are not going to get the advantage that we require when we are talking about something like this.

Yes indeed, I also didn't think that Brest would be able to have a good fight in this match . Because after all, in the previous match infact, Brest did not get a win in the previous three matches. So ya, with the defeat suffered in this match, it makes Brest go through four matches without a win this moment. But even so, at least Brest managed to almost to get a draw in the match against PSG but unfortunately, Brest still not lucky enough tobe able to maintain a score 2-2 to get draw with one point . But about PSG, congratulations on getting full points in this match . Because it is clear, that PSG still has great ambitions, and PSG still need point in every match to be able to return to the top of the Ligue 1 standings this season.

As I said in yesterday's post, this match will be a tough match for Manano. Considering from my point of view, Monaco is a team that has not yet reached a consistent stage. In the first half, Manaco was slightly better in possession. However, regarding opportunities, Lille was much better because they were able to maximize them into goals. although in reality technically it is not much different. What is certain is that Lille was able to take the lead in the 32nd and 42nd minutes. Continuing the second half, Manaco increased the aggressiveness of his attacks and controlled 65% of the ball. 4 shots on target, out of 10 attempts, only 1 big chance. Unfortunately, Monaco was unable to score a single goal in this match. This match matches my predictions, this week there will be changes in the standings of the top four Ligue 1 standings.

In the previous match, it was between Brestois and PSG.
To be honest, I didn't watch this game. However, it seems that Brest as the home team put up quite an interesting resistance. Referring to match statistics, the home team took a total of 20 shots although only 5 shots were on target, 2 big opportunities. Even though technically PSG was much better, Brest put up interesting resistance and were able to score 2 goals. However, fortunately PSG was able to win this match even though they scored the decisive goal at the end of the match in the 89th minute.  With this victory, PSG finally shifted Monaco's ranking, which fell against Lille  while Lille is currently ranked 4th. at the top of the standings is Nice, which is only 1 point ahead of PSG.

Mabappes brace was the saviour of the day for PSG els they would have ended up in a draw against Brest, it was a really interesting game with some epic performance, Brest really tried to put up such resistance against the mighty PSG and almost stole a point from them,  their Home advantage was really a boost to their morale as they played so we'll against PSG with every strength they had.

Earlier I would wan to feel Breast wouldn't be a tough challenge for PSG even tho I know PSG currently isn't in a perfect form but they had with this form won a game at the UCL over the week so it was expected they would just win stress-free but then Breast probe to us today that they are not to be taken for granted as they aswell can show some level of strength against bigger teams and possibly win them.

I've said it on many occasions here in this thread that if Paris Saint Germaine are playing at their best, it is almost impossible for any French club to stop them and that their poor start to the French Ligue 1 season was because of the fact that the club's manager Luis Enrique was yet to find the best playing pattern for the French champions.
Playing away against Brest this afternoon, PSG overcame their opponents resistance and took all three points from the game thanks to two goals from their talisman Kylian Mbappe who's been scoring goals for fun lately. The win takes them to just one point behind league leaders Nice who win their game yesterday.
