Mbappé is a world class player therefore whatever he does shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone cause he's a pure talent, I believe that's why PSG tried so hard to force him to sign another contract till next summer and since this season his performance for the club has been very brilliant and he's scored a good number of goals in both UCL and their Domestic league combined together, asides club natch Mbappe still scored a brace in the International break and since his return he's been good as well.

Well too bad PSG might not be able to stop Mbappé from leaving the team next summer therefore they have to enjoy every moment they spend with him, however against Milan yesterday the teams performance was very much outstanding they did a good job and Luis Enrique would be so proud of his boys.

Now they are in good shape, and surely their morale will increase after getting this victory, but there are still some notes that they must improve so that they do not lose their performance again in the next match.

I agree with you about Champions League, I doubt they could go to finals or even reach semifinals. In Ligue 1 they could claim back the first spot in the next rounds if they stop losing points and especially that Monaco will face Lille and might drop points.

That was also even happening since a few years ago and PSG can do nothing till this time. PSG may able to pass the group stage easily but we must also remember that if there are so many the main opponents of PSG being qualified for the knock out round too. Real madrid, Bayern and many more. These clubs will be going to the top 16. PSG must be so careful when it will be facing real madrid caused by this is the strongest team in the UCL this time.
PSG may get its domination back again in the league 1 but im not sure if this club will able to stay even longer in the UCL. The match will become even tougher once PSG will be entering into the knock out round.

These are the first clear signs of an up and down season for PSG and their problem eventually won't be that they can't play strong enough, but that they can't play strong consistently enough. This performance against AC Milan had nothing to do or in common with the performance against Newcastle United. They have a great offense and PSG should try everything to reach a higher level of consistency. They have had some small issues in the defense though, which I think on another day may had been punished by AC Milan. But watching the three attackers play their counter attacks is quite fun as they are all damn fast.

There is no need to doubt PSG's counter attack because they have a trio who can do it very quickly and perhaps any team's defense will have to pray a lot when faced with this situation. Last night's quite landslide victory against Milan proves that PSG is still capable of continuing its work in various competitions and especially for Ligue 1, I think they will return soon. It certainly won't be easy because Monaco and Nice still overshadow PSG in the standings and they can only hope that both of them will slip up in a match later. So far PSG is still a candidate to win Ligue 1 and despite their poor results since the start of the season, this will be resolved in a short time.

PSG performed like a professional team in last night's Champions League match. Where going to the next round was a tough equation for PSG, PSG completely blew away AC Milan. Group F was a very tough group in the Champions League and it was difficult to predict which two teams would advance to the next round. Based on the early performances, I had a bit of a guess that AC Milan and Newcastle would go through to the next round, but PSG and Dortmund changed our minds towards the end of the match. PSG group champions and Dortmund in second place and the Champions League journey ends here at Milan and Newcastle.

They're a big side and that's how they should go about them games. It's not how far but how well can the team lasts. It'll was just few errors and blunders and they should be back and here they're winning and creating, dominating and pleasing the fans with how they played beautifully. Shout out the the midfielder's and defender's who worked hand in hand to make sure they keep all of AC Milans efforts at bay.

That first goal was brilliant, he displaced Tomori from his position and took his shot. I didn't get to see the second goal and that of the canceled Ousmanns own too!
Newcastle! Phew! Too many hoped on them to win after drawing Milan and Beating PSG. I also felt they would raise the bar higher. They didn't use more of the midfied but more of the wing and Borrussia Dortmund with the help of Marco Reus, Emre Can and co worked and ran them out of options in midfied during the first half.

PSG performed like a professional team in last night's Champions League match. Where going to the next round was a tough equation for PSG, PSG completely blew away AC Milan. Group F was a very tough group in the Champions League and it was difficult to predict which two teams would advance to the next round. Based on the early performances, I had a bit of a guess that AC Milan and Newcastle would go through to the next round, but PSG and Dortmund changed our minds towards the end of the match. PSG group champions and Dortmund in second place and the Champions League journey ends here at Milan and Newcastle.

In the last 3 matches, PSG has played quite well and it seems like there has been a significant change and they have even been quite productive in scoring goals in their last 3 matches.
Indeed, PSG has become better now and the big win over AC Milan has made them even more confident. At first I still didn't believe that PSG had started to really recover because they were only able to win against teams whose quality was below them, but the result was a win against AC MIlan. in the UCL match I think it has proven enough.

In the current domestic competition they can only win 2 out of 9 matches played and this is clearly inversely proportional to their performance last season which was very good at the beginning and even until the end of the season but I think when their focus begins to narrow imo they can still rise only for now they are still difficult to do that because in the end there are still several competitions they have to live in close proximity.
At the moment it's likely they will still focus on the Champions League regardless of what the final result is but they will definitely use this as their capital to get better but indeed for Ligue 1 I think they can still rise in the middle of the season later.

These are the first clear signs of an up and down season for PSG and their problem eventually won't be that they can't play strong enough, but that they can't play strong consistently enough. This performance against AC Milan had nothing to do or in common with the performance against Newcastle United. They have a great offense and PSG should try everything to reach a higher level of consistency. They have had some small issues in the defense though, which I think on another day may had been punished by AC Milan. But watching the three attackers play their counter attacks is quite fun as they are all damn fast.
