Nice have been on impressive form in the French Ligue 1 this season even when I didn't expect them to be one of the clubs that'll give Paris Saint Germaine strong competition for the league title. They won their match yesterday to go two points clear of second placed Monaco who has a game at hand and 4 points clear of PSG who will visit Brest tomorrow for their match week 10 fixture.
Despite Nice great performances this season, I expect Paris Saint Germaine to win the title at the end of the season because they have all it takes to win the title ahead of any other French club

I think we had two surprises in the French League so far. first is the weak performance we saw so far from Lens while this team was racing with PSG during the last season, they are not performing well at all and this team is far from what we were expecting to see from them. The second surprise is about Nice because they are in the first place on the table while this team didn't spend lots of money like PSG and still they getting much better results than Enrique and his players.

There is a Lens - Nantes game tomorrow. I hope to see that this game becomes an opportunity to rise for Lens in the league. Because we haven't seen the same performance as the one they have in the Champions League. They got two draws in their last two Ligue 1 games. It is time to make a bigger effort to end this streak.

Nantes, like their opponent Lens, are a team that likes to play on the wings and have been on the rise in the last few weeks of the league. Nantes have won four of their last five matches and the morale of the team is very high, while Lens have gained morale by not losing at home during the week. I expect Lens to attack with one-balls, to get into easy positions and they will have no problem finding positions.
Lens will start the game with more pressure and attack with the advantage of being at home. However, I don't think they will take enough precautions in defense. My suggestion is that there will be mutual goals in this match. I think Lens will be the more dominant side at the end of the match.

Nice is doing as well and as funny as it can get.
When you look at their goal stats, isn't it crazy how this team is ranked no.1, has not lost a single game, has the best defense in the league and pretty much the worst offense from all those teams at the top. I don't think there was ever a situation in the league similar to this one. Well consistency matters and I'm not going to conclude yet cause the league is still far and they'll need to be consistent for a while before I'll conclude that they could be a big treat to PSG, but I'm impressed with their performance and how they're gradually becoming a tough team to play against in the Ligue 1 and even though they don't win the league I believe they'll finish top 4.

As I said before Nice winning this game was very much predictable and I was not expecting to see anything other than this from Nice. We know had a good performance so far in this season and compared to many other teams Nice good better results in the French League this shows Nice is in the good form while Clermont is not in that good form and the only reams they could bear Lyon in the past week is because of Lyon not being in good form.
France league is quite different from last season, there's alot going through these managers minds and they just hoped satisfied results comes one's way. Nice is on fire; they're pounding their opponents and desire to play stronger clubs. Who is the leader of Ligue One? It's strange to mention Nice, but they're back in form and hoping for one of their greatest results yet. Nice defeated Clermont with an essential approach devised by Francesco Farioli and his team. He is the team's intellect; his guys play according to their own personal style, but attain genuine when they face a more competitive team.

Well it is often said that the defense wins the games and in this case there couldn't be more truth to that as they hardly score any goals, which in turn means that they have the best defense. How would they otherwise be ahead of PSG and all those other clubs. It is just an abnormality that doesn't happen very often. I can't recall if I have seen something like that before.

Lens won with a four goals margin earning them three points,.it was a really brilliant performance from lens as they have moved up to the ninth position on the table with twelve points, four goals was really a well deserving victory especially with the fact that they were at home and they really did put up a good performance that earned them the points.Nantes remains at the seventh position with fourteen points they were unable to get any point out of this match, hopefully in subsequent games they will be able to get points because they can't be considered a weak team even if they did put up a weak performance in this match with lesser attempt and possession of the ball they weren't able match the home team.

Lens scored their third goal in the 72nd minute from a penalty chance. Nantes' players continue to attack but are unable to capitalize. Every player of lens is trying to perform to the best of his condition. And their gameplay is very organized today. Although they did not attack too much, each of their attacks was very sharp. Yes indeed, even though Nice certainly does not have the ability to maintain its top position in the Ligue 1 standings. It's true, even though both teams appeared quite fierce and almost no goals were scored in the first 45 minutes, Nice managed to win with a narrow score in the 74th minute through a goal scored by Boudaoui which allowed Nice to maintain their winning streak again. This is an important point for Nice at a critical time to continue to maintain their chances in the standings as well as to continue to threaten Monaco at the top. Nice had a great job as they managed to beat Clermont 0-1. Thus, Nice has the right to top the standings with a 2 point advantage over Monaco, but I think that's only for a while before Monaco takes over again if they manage to beat LOSC tomorrow.
Meanwhile, PSG will visit the Francis-Le Blé Stadium for its 10th match of the season. PSG must win the away match to stay close to Monaco and Nice, especially when PSG has a high probability of winning it. Brest are not too bad in defense, so PSG may have to fight hard to beat them tomorrow.

Reims with seventeen points now at the fourth position on the table is really good height achieved so far this season. Although Reims was dominant in every aspect of the game, with possession of the ball and shots on target, Lorient was a really bad side but didn't have the best day, they had a pretty nice defense against Reims tho.
Reims managed to secure their win at the 84th minute with a goal, they appears like the better team and aswell had the home advantage so personally I expected more of them but getting a win was all that matters so as to secure three points and further move up the table. Reims lost and drew one of their last two games so this was an opportunity for a win which they did used very well, this is a wake-up call for lorient if they must further go up the Ligue 1 table.
