The same situation continues between Mbappe and PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi. Mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract certainly but he wants to stay until the end of his current contract anyway. On the other hand PSG president is very determined to not let him go on a free transfer. If he doesn't have an intention for contract extension then he shows Mbappe the door.
PSG have only six months left to lose him for free as I assume that Real Madrid would make an official contract offer right away. They wouldn't wait up until next summer in the end while they have a golden opportunity. PSG are really desperate now as it seems really hard for them to sell him now as he is going to be available for free soon.

PSG have yet to make a decision on Mbappe. Mbappe has yet to renew his contract with PSG. Perhaps he is not interested in staying. I guess PSG management will make a decision about Mbappe after their coach change. If Mbappe is in Enrique's plans then maybe PSG management will try their best to keep Mbappe in the team. And if Enrique doesn't have Mbappe in his plans, Mbappe might be leaving the team soon.

We don't know if Luis Enrique will succeed as PSG coach. But it would be foolish to think that he will lead PSG to the Champions League title in his first season in charge. A team needs time to stabilize and strengthen. The PSG team situation is very shaky now. And so even with an experienced coach like Luis Enrique, I don't think they will win the Champions League title next season. If Luis Enrique is able to carry out his duties well, he can build a squad worthy of winning the Champions League title in the next 2/1 season.
He is an experienced coach, but we'll have to see what team he will build. What he has achieved, especially with FC Barcelona, proves that he is capable of leading this team. Now, what will be a question is whether he will have full authority, and I hope above all that he will not let himself be undermined by his superiors, as he would lose all credibility like his predecessors. And at the slightest interference from anyone other than himself in the sporting domain, he will make the decision either to assert his authority forcefully or, in the worst-case scenario, if his decisions are not respected, to leave the club at the earliest opportunity.

PSG are likely to hire Luis Enrique as coach. If Luis Enrique is the coach I think he will want full freedom to build his squad. And will want to build his squad from scratch. Mbappe's relationship with Neymar is not good. And so PSG management has to decide to sell one of these two players. PSG did not benefit much by keeping these two players together. I would say PSG should build a squad full of youth with the help of Luis Enrique. As a result, they will get stronger and more organized performances from the squad in the future.
After the negotiations between PSG and Nagelsmann failed, only Luis Enrique was predicted to become the new PSG coach. now, PSG has officially not been coached by Galtier. so, most likely if Enrique will replace his position. Regarding Mbappe, I think the club has to decide wisely. if Mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract, there is no choice but to let him go in this summer's transfer window.
but the problem is, not many clubs are willing to sign Mbappe. besides the high price, Mbappe's salary is very high. ideally, PSG could negotiate with Real Madrid. because, Madrid is the only club that Mbappe wants. plus, Madrid was able to bring in Mbappe and at the same time pay his salary. it's just that, it looks like there will be tough negotiations regarding the ideal price for these two giant clubs. well, let's see how this drama will continue.
Speaking of Enrique, I think he could be an ideal coach and bring PSG even better. it's just that, I doubt if Enrique can bring PSG to win the Champions League trophy in his first season. ideally, as you say. Enrique was given complete freedom to build his squad. I would even prefer if PSG were filled with new people, including releasing Mbappe and even Neymar. instead, Enrique can build his new squad with an even depth of players.

We don't know if Luis Enrique will succeed as PSG coach. But it would be foolish to think that he will lead PSG to the Champions League title in his first season in charge. It is still unclear which team Mbappe will go to. Liverpool and Real Madrid have expressed big-money interest in Mbappe. PSG on the other hand is a very rich club. They are likely to offer Mbappe an increase in wages. And no wonder Mbappe extended his contract with PSG again.

Luis Enrique is the new coach of paris St. germain. the spaniard replaces the hapless Christophe Galtier, who - like his predecessor Mauricio Pochettino - has to leave after just one year.
LE, who has been out of contract for a year, receives a contract at the french capital club until summer 2025

I think this time PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi's ambitious project of winning their first Champions League seems one step closer with the arrival of Luis Enrique, and is believed to be able to bring new hope to them. With the star-studded squad that Enrique currently has at PSG, it will certainly make him more flexible and it is certain that they will go further in the Champions League next season, compared to last season, PSG could only reach the round of 16 while still playing under Christophe Galtier.

Even though it is not certain that I will be able to win the Champions League next season, Enrique I think I understand very well the wishes of the club owners. With the experience and achievements he has while coaching Barca and the Spanish National Team, of course he will be highly respected by every player at PSG. and I'm sure he can lower the ego of every star player in the Club.

I think Patrick Vieira can do a good job at Strasbourg in the French League; theres a believe that if the Premier League is too good for your skills; then the French League can be a good one for you, vice versa too. Did Patrick Vieira do a good job at Crystal Palace? YES; Did he make the good performance consistent? NO. I think with the experience from EPL, Patrick Vieira can take Strasbourg to a better level.
The experience that a coach has in another team or in a different league before will always be valuable for a new team in a new league like Ligue1. Because Patrick Vieira will not have much difficulty in shaping Strasbourg's players to become stronger in Ligue 1 because previously he always faced tougher teams in the EPL, so when he coached Strasbourg in Ligue 1 with not many strong teams it would certainly be easier for him to making the Strasbourg team get better results although Patrick Vieira also needs time to learn things that he didn't know in Ligue1.

Insiders (Francois Gallardo) write that Real Madrid has already bought Mbappe for 280 million euros (a new absolute record), so the activation of PSG is understandable - they are completely rebuilding the team. And yes, now they will need to sign at least one top level striker. I wonder who it could be, since in this transfer window a lot of clubs are trying to get themselves a top striker and doing it for less than 100 million is probably unrealistic.
PSG have to recruit new players after the departure of many players including Messi and the uncertainty about Mbappe and Neymar. The attack line got the hardest heat and they have to work to rebuild it correctly. Enrique will certainly figure this out and I think the list of these players was made after his agreement.
Now this rumour about Mbappe is kinda strange. The number announced here could build a whole team!!

I wonder what options Paris Saint Germain will offer this time to keep Mbappe agreed to a contract extension. I can't imagine how PSG will be without Mbappe, let alone one of their stars Lionel Messi officially leaving the club this season and that will make the Paris Saint Germain team even more worried.
There will be no offer. the decision gonna be on mbappe itself. PSG is not willing to lose a lot of money by let him go with free agent. The only best way to find a buyer for mbappe that can afford to pay 1/4 billion for him.
This is the most difficult task but PSG has no choice other than try to offer him for another club that has very big amounts of money.

Im thinking that if real madrid can't even afford such price. It may be different when it came to the english premier league like newcastle which has owned by PIF.
The problem if newcastle has no interest to sign mbappe at this moment. It's likely mbappe gonna stay and PSG will suffer huge lose caused by unable to sell him during the transfer season.

Newcastle turn out a surprise team this season considering the squad they have. It's interesting to see how they're performing without big-name names. I'm hopeful that Newcastle will be able to achieve top-notch talents like Mbappe in their squad. In the EPL, every club is looking for him, but Newcastle might have an advantage in this race. I believe Newcastle would like to invest 300 million or more to confirm a player of Mbappe's. While Newcastle already have good depth players, they would benefit from adding two or more world-class players like Mbappe to their lineup. However, Mbappe himself has expressed a strong desire to play for Real Madrid. It remains to be seen whether he will reject all other possibilities and maintain his same focus on joining Madrid.

Of course, there are still other big clubs that can pay expensive Mbappe but unfortunately, because it seems like Mbappe also chooses a club that can dominate the league well, and with a great chance to get trophies then his choice will remain Real Madrid and not Newcastle. Although indeed, Newcastle in the next season will also play in the Champion League, but it seems that Newcastle still needs more time to be able to have better dominance. Also, besides Newcastle in fact, previously there have also been rumors about Liverpool's interest in recruiting Mbappe, but because next season Liverpool only play in the Europa League and so, it seems that this factor makes me not sure for Liverpool to be able to recruit Mbappe in this transfer window.
In fact, currently Mbappe has no choice but to stay at Paris SG because with such a high price it is very difficult to find a new club that can sign him.
Liverpool and Newcastle may indeed have an interest in signing Mbappe, but the two clubs have finally just become rumors that are not real because the very high price makes other clubs think twice about being able to buy him.

PSG have started to be really active in the transfer market. Luis Enrique is about to be announced as the new manager of the team firstly. In addition to that they have signed 6 players and all of them will be official soon. They have made additions to multiple areas of the squad already. People might not have much knowledge about Ndour. I also know him from Football Manager and he has a really good potential for now.  Grin
Again PSG made a mistake in their transfer policy, they prepared employees first rather than the Leader, of course this is wrong governance in a team. PSG should have recruited Luis Enrique first and then given him the freedom to determine the players that needed to be brought in, the players chosen by the Manager (Leader) would certainly result in good cooperation between players (employees) and coaches (Leaders).

In forming a good squad, the coach needs to choose players that match the game scheme used. As experienced by Hazard, before he moved to Real Madrid he was the number one player at Chelsea. He failed to shine at Real Madrid as a result of not conforming to the coach's game plan. Luis Enrique needs at least two seasons to form the PSG squad so that it can run as expected, the arrival of Luis Enrique has given PSG new hope in pursuing the UCL trophy.

After these signings I assume a centre-forward transfer will be up next. It had better be because they will need to complete the attacking trio again. Mbappe is already a centre-forward of course but he can play on Messi's wing as well without problem. Having a solid striker in the middle would be really good right beside Mbappe and Neymar.
PSG spent almost 130 million euro for signing three players and left with three players as free agent, since Luis Henrique officially become PSG manager actually still many new recruitment later. PSG have sign three center defender position from Lucas Hernández, Manuel Ugarte and Milan Škriniar who have impressive performance last season.

PSG target right now how to build with forward position, they have loss Lionel Messi and Marco Asensio can filled on right forward position but still need some player to recovery with Assensio position. Luis Henrique still not confirm yet about new target exactly with center forward position and waiting which players has bigger chance for signing.

I hope this won't be a random transfer after the departure of many of their star players, especially in the coaching position. Their previous coach was considered unable to understand the team as a whole and that made them not optimal because the chemistry created between the players was not very visible. There was speculation that Zindane might become their coach, but that rumor died down. Now that Luis Enrique will be in charge of their squad for the upcoming season, I hope he can bring about changes that will allow them to compete even harder, I'm not talking about Ligue 1 but the Champions League.

Marseille are entering a new period with Marcelino's arrival. We will see if he can improve Tudor's record which was to finish in the 3rd place.

In my opinion, the thing Marseille need the most now is a centre-forward transfer. Because Alexis Sanchez has been released. Milik has also been signed permanently by Juventus. Luis Suarez has also joined Almeria right after his loan spell ended. There is only Vitinha left as a centre-forward mainly. But interestingly the only rumour I see about Marseille is Wilfried Zaha. However the departures have happened new so in a short time they should be getting serious about a centre-forward transfer.
Marseille has lost to compete with Lazio to gets Wilfried Zaha because recently this player has personal agreement with Lazio and soon he will moved to that team indeed Marseille losing so many players this season besides front lines they also aiming full back player this because after Nuno Tavares returned to Arsenal then Marseille want at least 1 player for full back position and for the replacememt of Nuno Tavares currently they were linked to Porto player Zaidu Sanusi

Marseille new players mostly as a midfielder such as Amine Harit or Geoffrey Kondogbia and indeed Marseille have to find a new striker immediately because on the squad they only have Francois Regis Mughe and Vitinha but last time i heard Marseille want Folarin Balogun from Arsenal and this could be a good purchase because Balogun has performing well when he was loaned to Reims last season and the records 21 goals from 37 matches has proven he is potential player for Marseille moreover Arsenal too will thinking to sell him

Patrick Vieira has been a free agent since he was dismissed by Crystal Palace in March this year. The iconic midfielder was sacked after failing to guide Palace to a single win after the World Cup, which left the Eagles in a precarious position. His appointment at Strasbourg is his latest foray into management, and he spoke of his happiness to be given the opportunity:
https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2023/patrick-vieira-unveiled-as-strasbourgs-new-head-coach/

It sounds like if there was no other good coach to be signed by strasbourg. Chelsea has owned almost a half of shares from strasbourg but the club was signing a garbage coach for upcoming season which is a very bad decision from the management.
Strasbourg can appoint a better coach compared with him. There have been so many coaches will be also interesting to be signed by the club as long as they will get good offer from the club.
There will be no change for strasbourg under him. This club gonna have the same fate as crystal palace.

I think the appointment of Patrick Vieira as the new coach of Strasbourg seems insignificant and indeed Strasbourg themselves are definitely quite happy as long as they can play in Ligue 1 without thinking about any targets for next season. Strasbourg is one of the weakest teams in ligue 1 and even if they can finish above the relegation zone they will all be very grateful.

It is clear that there will be no significant changes if the club's coach is Patrick Vieira and that has been proven since being sacked from Crystal Palace last season. So yes, I'm not surprised that Strasbourg will still be an ordinary team in this competition later.
