the future of altcoin I think will get better because I see more and more new ico and more and more new altcoin, for a while altcoin prices are on the down ,but remember the altcoin price going down will not be forever

Its at the moment lower that crowd sale prices. Both are nice staking coins. So do your homework and expand your portfolio

Block chain can be used in a lot of aspect which involves the internet, storage of data, digital identity and even property management against dubious and fraud. But, this thread was obviously talking about altcoin future i.e utilities which some altcoin lack.

Yes I do believe that the alternative cryptocurrencies have a very bright future ahead and it can reach a very high height of success because it has a lot of potential. This is because since the alternate cryptocurrency have started they have gained a lot of popularity among the people all over the world and their demand among the people have also increased a lot. It is difficult to imagine the future of Bitcoin, its adoption, diffusion, growth; therefore even more difficult if not impossible to predict this for the altcoin or shitcoin.
In general, the best coins and with their own blockchain tend to outperform Btc in the long run (look at Etn, Neo, Xrp, Stl, Iot, Nem, Lsk, etc.), but about 90% of the other coins will tend to lose Vs Bitcoin; they can also go up in $ but this depends on the Btc rise and not on their strength.
So, if you do not know the market and you're not very practical, choose Bitcoin or other coins with a proprietary blockchain.
the future of altcoin is wide open and altcoin have the potential to jump to the highest price in the future. but you need to analyze one by one so you can find the altcoin that will give you a big profit. but sometime, analysis the altcoin will be difficult since we know that every altcoin is depended on bitcoin price so we need to always check what is bitcoin trends so we don't miss something and we can always make a profit.
I agree it's tough to predict altcoins future prices but not all altcoins are depended on bitcoin price. When the BTC market will increase yup surely the altcoins market will increase but most of the altcoins price will increase if any good news comes from dev team or any big companies invested means people will start to buy the price will increase. I am not sure all altcoins future will be bright but out of 100, i think min 10% coins prices will increase. that will be good for us if coinbase finally support ERC20 asset because this will makes altcoin grows more than now and many of us will keep their token in coinbase. besides that, this will makes altcoin have a chance to increase more in the future and I see that there are many of the tokens can give something to us and can cover the weakness of the altcoin so every coins and token can collaborate to make our life will be better.
We all understand that in the future only those altcoins that really work and have some value will be valued. What's not trending is just going to die.

It hard to select or say this were good altcoin due to the cryptocurrency market been flood with different altcoin but it not hard though if ones make the right research base on the coin team, how the coin was recognized in the CEO or team reside area, if the project is already registered or back by genuine company and campaign manager reputation because most campaign manager like Mr Yahoo62278 usually do research about a particular project he's going to manage. Meanwhile, you're also right about the market corrections to be one of the thing to know good altcoins.

yes only a good altcoin will survive and not all altcoins are good there are some who will die maybe because the investors do not believe in the project,so for long term investment we have to choose a potentially altcoin or have a good future such as ethereum, wave, litecoin and others.
there are large number of altcoins present in the market in which some of altcoins are mostly dead while some of them are very interested to people like etherum and waves. etherum is the number second greatest coin in the history of crypto and many people are now investing mostly in etherum because it is cheaper now and they know that it will give more profitable in future for them.
The future of altcoin is good.Altcoins get good value for people.For example I think the price of Ethereum will reach $8000 in two or three years.ethereum is a strong coin.This can survive under any circumstances.
