Come on peeps. It has been what? Ten years since bitcoin was created and there were already alts at that time. And yet here we are and we still have alts now. The alts will not die it will only evolve into something that would make it more potent and more useful. And this will happen in our lifetime. And even after we die our sons and grandsons will continue what we had started.
Point of correction! Altcoins did not start popping up until 2011 with the first one being Namecoin (NMC), still not doing bad though. I just thought I should point that out. Nevertheless, I understand what you are saying, as that specifically means there is always going to be room for altcoins, but in the long run, it would not be all of them as when the market gets more matured, we will start seeing some getting discarded and who knows, maybe they will just end up as low volume coins traded the same way penny stocks are being traded.

Yes, most of the altcoin price depends on Bitcoin and this makes some time to decrease the value of altcoins. Yes, mostly potential coins will remain because they have a good team with active developments and this makes more people will show interest towards the project.
in the future, I think there will be more altcoin that will create for the different purpose to fill what we need in our daily life. and each of altcoin will among us and helps us to solve our problem in finances and help us to gain the benefits of altcoin. and although altcoin depends on bitcoin price, the altcoin can help us to make more bitcoin and make money. the cryptocurrency future will bright and will grow as people can see that they have the opportunity to make money from the crypto itself.

I think that you are right! few really good altcoys with some idea and a lot of all sorts of garbage altcoyins that go nowhere
yes I agree, I think the future of altcoin is very good and all altcoin can survive and can be improved its development. this will make the world of crypto always survive and always live
There are a thousand unnecessary projects and they are not functional. They just could not move forward. Those who can apply will be very valuable in the future.
I am very confident and optimistic that the future of altcoins will be part of an official transaction someday, maybe someday we will never use fiat or cash because everything can be done with a safer and cheaper crypto.

I'm not 100% sure many altcoins will survive in the future but only a few of them. They need to have a huge community support behind them and continuously innovate to develop their own platform to survive in a long term.

The problem is that the altcoins falls and maybe never start to grow, although all this is expected, many think "my alt fell by 90%, it's okay to grow in price," but many must have already woken up and realized that most of the alts will never grow and soon may be worth 0.

There are plenty of altcoin at the moment. About 1600 altcoin. I guess in the next 1 year. 80% of altcoin will die and not grow. in fact. Almost altcoin is dead or scam
yes finally only altcoin that have a good potential and good developer will survive for a long time. its better if we buy top 10 coins on the market cap to minimize losing money. we should becareful in choosing coin especially if we want to invest in big amount.
It depend on which coin you choose. There are so much coin in market right now, and not many of them is scam. Some have good dev team, and they work so hard for a long-term development.
The fact is that for a fraudster every ico company is a tasty morsel. Today they are becoming more and more sophisticated in their ideas and therefore really a lot of ico companies are scammers.

Without a doubt, 95% of all altkoins will eventually become worthless, but the remaining 5% will capture the market from within.

I think only the good coins will survive..
There are so many great altcoins now in the market and some of them is showing great performance and movement in the market so my prediction for the altcoin is they will be more great for the next few years.I'm just new to this forum.

It will completely collapse in a future year, but now they are growing normally, though I still invest and believe in them.
Instead I think that the future of the transaction system immediately switches and uses crypto, I'm sure users will continue to increase so this becomes a benefit for investors from now on.I hope so, with the transition system switching using crypto it is very influential on the volume of crypto.
maybe in the future it is realized, we can see from now already many who know the world of cryptocurrency.
