it will do so, but not in the near future i thought. As we know bitcoin are still main player and very influential to the majority of altcoin's price and demand. Also become a benchmark for any other cryptocurrency coin in pricing movement. it need for extraordinary and game changer project to beat bitcoin and ethereum or even to exceed its value among crypto enthusiast. And we know also many of new coin using ethereum contract and ERC20.
Every coin that can't keep up innovation will be doomed. They have to meet a certain criterion that is going to keep them in use.
Personally, i think Ethereum and Bitcoin will collapse.

In my opinion, bitcoin and ethereum won't collapse as easily as you think, bitcoin and Ethereum now really have significantly lowered prices, but I'm sure there will be times when bitcoin and Ethereum will go back up and increase prices and will surprise many people , so I think it's difficult for other altcoin to replace the position of bitcoin. Same for EOS.

As far as I'm concerned, altcoins have a good future, the projects will respond to different needs in the blockchain system. Of course, we're not quite sure of the future of the existing altcoins and most are said to die, which will not be in the market in the coming years. While old projects are running out, new projects will come on the other hand.
What be problem with that is market really strict about listed new project on their site. That is why new projects for now not really success in market because only new markets that accept them.
The question of which altcoin will be the next bitcoin is frequently asked. To me, it's too early for such questions. We're not even sure about the future of the altcoins and most of them will die. Because many projects, which have been very successful in the near past, are not even remembered today. Personally I'm too far away from the idea of a altcoin to replace Bitcoin.
for now, in this market situation, all coins have experienced a deep decline, almost all coins have experienced it, so it is still difficult for which coins to stand in this bear market.

I think that Bitcoin will be until the end of the cryptocurrency and it will be in the list of leaders. Ethereum may collapse, but it will not happen very soon, besides EOS, though a younger coin, but it is not so much ahead of Ethereum in terms of technology.
For now they will not mainly Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin is the core of the whole market and more than half of the marketcap is in Bitcoin. That is why people like and trust on Bitcoin. And for ethereum it is the most popular and working platform token at this moment and it's also highly trusted by people. Maybe one day they collapse but that day is not so early. The whole market is in early stage and Bitcoin is stands for the market. As long as I can think eos is also good and they have the greatest ico seale ever. And at this moment there is no coin to replace Bitcoin. At it will take time to come any coin before Bitcoin position.
The one that will become the second Bitcoin does not yet exist) It will take more than one year to at least get closer to Bitcoin. We will observe how every year some of the old Altcoins leave the top 100, while others come to this list, but Bitcoin will hold a confident position.
ethereum I believe that I can still stay in the top 5 in market capitalization, as well as bitcoin,
and I'm sure it's not long before Eth will beat XRP in rank 2 market capitalization,
and indeed it is appropriate for eth to return to second place because eth is indeed a strong coin, especially the team and investors behind it.

Ethereum will be in the second place, and for long, man, I am sure. Too many people are interested to work with ETH, and the market capitalization of the altcoin is constantly growing. It has a great future.

I think there is nothing that can replace the position of ETH or BTC anytime because it is proven that until now the two coins are still a benchmark for the price of other coins. Same for EOS.

And what about now? Do you think it is not yet collapsed? Because i think that we already collapsed and even found our bottoms on both coins (don't even looking on EOS, it is a fully scammy shit-project). Of course everything may change i'm not trying to predict the future but seems like the market started its recovering and it is great, hope it will be continued. Same for EOS.

The future of altcoin is more brighter than what it is from the past few years. I believe tgat altcoin will be back into normal run when the market will turn into green from a long red status. And I also believe that when bull run occur or take place many of the altcoin will experience a massive rise. So then I suggest to buy or stock many more altcoins today and wait for the bull run so that we can earn a huge amount of profit.
XRP has great prospects, especially since it has already taken second place in the coinmarketcap by market capitalization. He has a lot of support from banking institutions. But this does not mean that Bitcoin and ETH will die, because they are the main legislators among crypto currencies.
Well, at the moment the ripple is now on the 3rd place by market capitalization , and evidence that banks use ripple no , I doubt at all that this coin is a good investment

Altcoins will have a big breakthrough when large corporate companies will adopt blockchain tech
Even now in many places blockchain is adopted because it gives the feeling of safety and relaxation. We all should invest because this gives freedom of investing and it regulates the large number of Alt coins. The future of Altcoin is really good as more coins are being part of market so does the investors That’s the reason future is being safe now.

But i don't think bitcoin will really collapse because you haven't seen the worst yet and yet bitcoin is still fighting and evolving every day. because without bitcoin there will be no altcoins
bitcoin will stay and always be the king of cryptocurrencies my friend
about ethereum, as i know a lot of tokens born in ethereum platform,, its hard to believe if ethereum will collapse too
