Ill think that will not happen of bitcoin and etherium will collapse. Maybe they are be going better and popular all of us and many investors want to invest on it. Maybe some of the coins in the market will be collapse because of being to be a shitcoins in the future or not a potential coins.
for now I don't think of what altcoin will be the next bitcoin, I prefer to enjoy what's happening now, for what to argue about the next king of coins, bitcoin is the first coin here, bitcoin prices affect altcoin prices, so bitcoin cannot be destroyed by altcoin

If bitcoin and ethereum collapse then it would affect other cryptocurrency too since they are the coins who has a big market capitalization and regarding about next to bitcoin, there are two contenders which ethereum and ripple but it will take a lot of effort and investment if they would like to overtake bitcoin.
Personally, i think Ethereum and Bitcoin will collapse.
Same for EOS.

I am a little curious on what basis you say that ETH and BTC will collapse. Indeed ETH and BTC are experiencing a drastic decline but there must be a reason. Some platforms may be trying to improve what happened. In 2019 we all hope ETH and BTC will return higher and we all return to the safe zone. Same for EOS.

Definitely if bitcoin price collapse at the coinmarketcap ethereum and EOS are affected not only that two coins is include the altcoins price will collapse. That scenario was very experience of the bitcoin community if bitcoin price altcoin not surprise altcoins are also follow to bitcoin. Regarding to your question nothing can altcoins can replace to the king of coin.

I am surprised to see your statement, personally I never think Ethereum and Bitcoin will disappear or collapse easily. It is because they have already had highest volumes in market. And these become the most favorite and recommended coins for investment or trading. So, I think it is unlikely to happen, mate. Please, make a statement with a valid data or strong reasons.
Well, first we must know that Bitcoin is not altcoin, so I think that it doesn't seem to be here. Well, the altcoins that can survive must have some criteria. One of them is having the great technology. besides, the team also determine how the coin will survive in the market, they must really promote and maintain the coin and its investors. I believe that Ethereum can still survive, so does the EOS and other altcoins that have the great concept.

I disagree with you. I think that bitcoin and ethereum will be coins of future. These cryptocurrenies are too strong to die. I think it's impossible. But there are also another good coins.

Even though it's been a year, the market is still red, but I'm sure that this year the market can recover, this makes me optimistic to buy coins that have the potential to skyrocket again so that I can get big profits.

You are only basing on the price, I believe at the current situation compared to the past 2 years, we have already increase the popularity of crypto. People already knew it and in fact they are investing on it, however those new players in the market are investing thinking they can make quick profit but they failed because they got rekt by the whales, they have the power to manipulate and they continue to do it.
If only they focus for long term, they have a chance, but because they panic, they loss easily.

If you are talking for alts in general. I guess some will survive if they have a real value within the platform they are developed. I see that there are many payment processors projects that will utilise their own token/coin, but also projects in other niches for example like Sylo (decentralised communication platform), or others like social platforms based on the blockchain.
A lot of coins are based on eth, so wouldn’t we wanna rather see it succeed..
for now, in this market situation, all coins have experienced a deep decline, almost all coins have experienced it, so it is still difficult for which coins to stand in this bear market.
especially because price of bitcoin is down it affects all altcoins too.
