I do believe in Dogecoin,I've read so many forecasts about this coin that it would cost 1$ or even more in the coming years,so I took the desicion to invest 7% of my cryptofunds in Doge,just waiting for a good price for buying(0.002-0.003$)
Maybe the doge would be nice but not coins in quick time. It could be just a couple of years in the future doge will be said good coins such as nxt at least. invest only on a doge is currently very beneficial.
DogeCoin is for my long-term investment that's why I decided to buy DogeCoin last year since it was way cheaper than today. I know DogeCoin will do have a good future because it is widely used and the $20 Million trade daily for this coin isn't a joke at all.

I personally do not suggest investing in Dogecoin for the following reasons:
The continued inflation is not good from an investment standpoint. There is a high chance that you will not get good returns on your investment.
The father of the project has left the cryptocurrency world for an undetermined period of time. This is not a bad thing in itself (the father of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, has been MIA for almost all of Bitcoin’s life), but Dogecoin has become directionless since his departure.
The development community hasn’t done anything (except become philanthropists) for the past 2 years.
All these things aside, the orignial idea was a joke. It was meant to be a funny thing that had a lot of inside references to cultuarlly relevant (at the time) things. For instance, the inspriation to have a coin supply of more than 100 billion came from a movie.
As a general rule, I don’t usually recommend investing in something that is openly a joke.
But it certainly doesn’t mean that Dogecoin is dead; there is still a thriving Dogecoin community. Even Coindesk captured some of the comments of existing Dogecoin dev team members which clearly indicated that as long as people are willing to engage with, learn about, or buy things using Dogecoin, it is not going to die.
I also feel that it is a great tool for tipping, and for those who haven’t used cryptocurrencies before, it’s a great way to start experimenting. Dogecoin is very cheap – around $0.0009 at the time of this writing – so buying 1000 Dogecoin only costs about $1.
But ultimately, the decision is up to you.

If we specifically talk about speed of transactions - i have to say dogecoin is indeed fast. But the thing which caught my attention is there is no limit to its suppy, which means it is present in infinite amount.
Till today more than 100 billion dogecoins are in circulation. With as of today Oct-23-2017 , 1 DOGE = $0.00101075 .
We have been taught about price-supply-demand things in school , in simple terms a price of an asset will depend on demand in market and its suppy - if supply of an asset is more than demand price falls and if supply is less and demand in market is more then price of an asset increases. So we can relate this to the continous BTC price increase as demand for bitcoin is more and supply is limited which increases it's value.
Comming to the fact that dogecoins have no limit of supply i hardly think it can ever become an investment asset or a stable currency ever. I see some people on twitter who are investing in alt coins see it as an long investment on which i completely disagree.
If we want to see doge coin really succeed , here are my views what the developers should seriously take note of:
1. Limit its Supply:
More than 100 billion doge coins are in circulation with market cap of approx. USD 13.5 MIL . 100 billion is a big number and it's always increasing so unless community decide to limit it , i donot think it can attain any significant value in longterm.
2. Ok if we limit it - what will we do with existing coins?:
Solution to above problem is quite simple. We just need to publish a new Crypto-token or currency which will derive it's value from previous currency in circulation. For Ex: Let the new currency be called Super Dogecoin denoted by S-DOGE. As per our convenience we can set it's base value like 1 S-DOGE could be equal to 1000 or 10K or say even 100k DOGEs . So not just it will decrease the numbers of coin but will also hold significant value. And this new currency could also be listed to the exchange if needed.

People underestimated Dogecoin, believing that only the coins that are used for pyramid investments, or finance, or even crime and black money, would have a future.
Why can not a coin be successful for normal people and social networks? And what better for a internet coin for fun and friendship than a logo of a dog's pet taken from a meme?

Dogecoin as a coin IMHO doesn't make any sense at all, however it has got quite a large community in the years, and what is giving value to coins is actually the community, so as long as the community will believe in this silly coin, this silly coin will have a present, maybe even some future.

Future of dogecoin ? The future of dogecoin if I look at the same thing with ethereum and bitcoin, its future is quite clear for the upcoming year, because dogecoin lovers quite a lot and its prices on the market quite stable.
I don't think dogecoin have future. Because until now there's no progress to dogecoin. I bought dogecoin ast few years ago and my money was stock because of this coin. I hope I can back my capital from this coin. Im contented if the price of dogecoin increase at 100-200 satoshi and I will sell all my dogecoin so I can get my money back for sure many people also stock their money too. Dogecoin is a first coin that is actually based on the marketing initiatives. Efforts are constantly being made in the crypto community to attract more people in dogecoin. The price may be reduced at this point but there is a very bright future in it.
