You mentioned borrowing money to gamble - can the ephemeral thrill of a gamble truly justify the long-term ramifications of such actions?

You are right by saying that gambling has two sides one is positive and the other is negative. However, most people who gamble often turn out to be using the negative side of the gambling as they think that gambling could make them rich over night and they spend thousands of dollars on gambling just in dream of becoming rich. They end up losing all the money, and get addicted to gambling, and such people will spend everything on gambling, and they can even sell their household items and properties to regain the money that they have lost during gambling. If someone of them turns out to be lucky then he/she might end up getting the lost money back, but still he/she will lose it again because of their addiction and greed.

Gambling has a positive side and that's its entertaining part. If we earn some money from gambling then that should be enough for us because we got both entertainment and money at the same time, but if we play more, than we can lose  both of those that we earned with gambling. I like sports betting to some extent and when I win most of my bets it makes me happy, but I only bet when I'm 70% sure that I have higher chance of winning. I must say that I have also lost many of my bets and that's why I can say that gambling is unpredictable, and it's your luck which will determine either you will lose or win the bets.

All people want to maintain professionalism in gambling but it is extremely difficult. While some may maintain his professionalism in gambling for a short period of time, he became known as an addicted gambler in the long term. A gambler must conduct gambling without getting too much excitement. Greediness of more winnings in gambling works in almost all gamblers so a gambler must be careful about that. Responsible gambling will be easier if greed can be controlled.

Since this is possible then why do we keep seeing some people being under addiction or found with one or more abnormality attached to their gambling lifestyle experience, we have some benefits and advantages meant for us to have by default without any more discomforts coming in along with them than when we on our own way introduced some to our gambling experience, we have the control to this and what we determine to see is what we do and put in more efforts which turns to be either we are gambling responsibly or not.

Exactly, every single thing in this world has two sides, a positive side, and a negative side, now it depends on us how we utilize that thing, if we use it in a good way, it won't be bad or harmful for us, but if we do it in the wrong way, we will definitely need to face the consequences of our actions. It's not that thing that is bad but it is us and our way of using it that makes it bad and harmful either for us or for someone else around us.

Gambling is exactly like that, if you use it only to have some fun and pass your time without wagering a lot of money and getting yourself addicted to it, it wouldn't be a bad thing for you, but if you take gambling as a way of earning money, spend a lot of money to get something out of it and also lose control and get addicted, that will be harmful to you for sure.

Everything you have said is true and I totally agree with that but what is very concerning is that almost all gamblers cannot do it and most people gamble brutally to be able to make big wins.
From this we can see that indeed the point of view of a gambler is to use the gambling industry as a place to make profits, not fun.
So how can they have self-control and thoughts or use the money they can receive when they lose so they can become responsible gamblers?

We should just be responsible gamblers, because if we neglect the matter of being responsible, our destination will surely be an addiction to gambling that can lead to the destruction of our personality, relationships with family, friends and others.
In addition to being responsible for gambling, we must also have control over ourselves in things that should not be done, such as if we lose, we should stop.

But before we have the right mindset about gambling, we can experience ups and downs, so that should make us think about changing ourselves, especially the mindset. We also have to control ourselves so we don't get too deep into gambling. By becoming responsible gamblers, we can change ourselves to be even better at gambling. Being better here means we try to be wise gamblers who don't chase anything in gambling.

If we just play gambling for fun, we can control ourselves very well because we have nothing to chase. We just want to enjoy gambling and whatever the outcome, we can accept it and stop before all the money is gone. And having this healthy mindset will help us avoid the risk of losing money and gambling addiction problems.

I don't think anyone has been into gambling with losing money; despite the experience you have had, I believe you still lose your bets even more than your wins because that is what gambling is all about: you will win less and lose more. Gambling is fun, and there is no one I know who ever starts gambling and just stops halfway; they always get stuck in the middle. That's even the reason why so many people get fond of it and even borrow just to satisfy their desire to gamble. I also started gambling a long time ago, and despite that, I have had several reasons to stop gambling, but I haven't. I can't stop what gives me fun.

The pros and cons of gambling are more than that, when someone is addicted to gambling, there is a lot of misery in his family and if the gambler is constantly losing money in his gambling, there is more misery in his family. The gambler is then forced to sell important family assets to manage the gambling money. Then without considering the future, without thinking about the family, without considering the safety of his wife and children, he is forced to sell all the family property, so his family has to spend a lot of misery and misery for the next life.
So a gambler should always keep in mind when he indulges in gambling that his family and himself are not harmed by gambling. He should consider gambling as a pastime and never take gambling as a career. Gambling should be indulged in with the view that gambling should not cause trouble to his family members and that gambling should have confidence in himself.

There are so many definitions regarding professional gambling. The main thing is,  any gamblers must be responsible for what they have done. It doesn't matter how much they lose or win and they must accept that as personal responsibility in gambling.
They must have control over their mind even if they were not addicted. Self control is a must when someone wanna be a professional gamblers.

I know people who think they can make a living in gambling but eventually found their status of living way worse than when they started.  There maybe a few who made their lives better in a short span of time because they win huge amount of money but if they failed to learn about financial management and keep on coming back to casino then they will end up with the same story of people who end up in a bad financial state after winning lottery jackpots.


The best move to be able to have a responsible gambling engagement is to know what considered to be a responsible gambling actions and try to adopt it while we are enjoying the services of gambling casinos.

Gambling is for entertainment and dont really expect that you could really make sustainable income through it and this is why some people would really be that wasting up their lives just because they do really believe

We are the ones who would really be making our fate and if you dont like for it to happen then you should really be that sensible on the actions you've been doing.

Definitely, the goals of those people are completely misplaced, they seem to have forgotten that gambling is just an activity you do for the fun you can obtain out of it and nothing more, by trying to make it out to be something that is not then they are making a huge mistake, and while some realize the mistake they have made early and can limit their losses, there are many other gamblers which fail to do so and accumulate huge losses because of it.

Well, for me though, a professional gamblers isnt or should not be necessarily someone that have had a bad gambling experience, a professional gambler is like someone who have taken gambling as a career and have been into it for a very long time, and have so mastered it in such a way that he or she now offers gambling services to other less knowledgeable players.

Now, don't get me wrong, for someone who have spent several years in gambling and have been able to attain the professional status, there is every possibility that such a player must have had a couple or several bad experiences, but then, that is not an important criteria to consider such a  gambler a professional.

Do you think someone who has a job or business in which they are engaged will really feel lonely to the extent of putting their loneliness on gambling alone? After work, you have a few loved ones to spend time with, and you also have to rest for the next day's job. Well, I think it depends on the individual and the nature of the job or business they are doing, because definitely someone who is in a good job that is paying them well cannot afford to risk their job for gambling. They will definitely give more time to their job and only gamble at a pace that they are comfortable with. I know of one man who was a real full-time gambler, but the nature of the job (A college teacher) he got into now doesn't even allow him to have as much time as before for gambling. So, one can be lonely if they don't really have something that they are more engaged in, unless gambling.

Apart from being a responsible gambler, it all depends on our mindset, because mindset can regulate and also control ourselves so we can gamble responsibly, what you say is true because if you gamble for money, of course it will make us continue to play until we reach the desired victory because in human nature will never feel satisfied to get any victory. so it will be easy to get stuck with a game that will never end.

Playing with control and a healthier mindset will enable us to play gambling more thoroughly and responsibly, gamble with money that we are ready to lose and don't chase high wins, enough to have fun and enjoy gambling will keep the desire away from continuing to gamble with a healthy mindset will help prevent us from becoming an addict.
