It's worth a lot if you learn how to control and be responsible as you need during your gambling sessions. It's very important
that you have that set of limitations and not just to play all the way.

With good control, you will be able to save your money in terms of not to exceed with your budget and you'll also be able to extend
the time of your sessions.

More on good knowledge to properly adjust and not to exceed, you find enjoyment and you can let things go and move forward.

I agree self-discipline is really important so that we won't spend too much money on gambling.  Aside from that gambling in moderation like limiting our playing time, setting days to have a break, and bankroll management  is greatly important if we wanted to minimize the negative effect of gambling in our daily routine and financial budgets.

Aside from that we should be sane during our gambling session and not under the influence of any intoxicating substance such as alcohol or any substance that can make us lose control of our senses.
A scenario played out sometime last week when I applied self restriction and it really paid off for me,  I placed a bet on stake and when 3 of the games already won the remaining 2 because it was a multiple bet slip,  and when I waited to see the amount of my cash out I already accumulated a good amount in my cash-out balance.

At this point, I was caught in the middle of the decision of whether to cash out or not,  but at the end of the day,  I ended up making up my mind to cash out the amount and go what,  the last match could have been lost and the ticket desrroeryd but since I made use of the cash-out option and having the discipline to decide made it easy for me to make up my mind on time.

Sometimes you need to cut out on your winnings too as we need to cut out on losses. Usually when people are winning in gambling, they usually just carried away with it, and with the coincidence and joy of winning, they never stop the gamble and sometimes may end up losing.
When we say to gamble with responsibility, it means that we should be careful at both times when we win and when we lose in gambling.

Not stopping in order to make more profits when you make enough profits can lead to a loss and not stopping in order to recover the losses when you have made a loss can lead to more loss too.

In addition to a losing streak, emotions play an important role in our ability to control ourselves.Anger, fear, joy or frustration can weaken our ability to make rational decisions.
Controlling emotions and being able to manage them are important skills for developing self-control and making rational decisions.
With this we can learn that emotion is actually the source of all this failure and we should look for other ways to try to slowly learn to control our emotions, such as planning a small budget for gambling and if we have lost out of money try to leave gambling and find friends or play somewhere. a place with friends to release emotions.
In this way we will get used to a neutral mind so that when we get defeated we will not become emotional and I say this is like emotional therapy.

To be sincere with you, I don't think being under the influence of such substance as alcohol has the power to make a man lose his guard and deviate from a gambling rule or discipline such a person has mastered, even drugs can't do it because the chances that a person doing drugs while gambling is already a gambling addict is very high, so the drugs for them act as something that helps them not to emotionally feel the negative impact of their gambling, the drugs act as a means for them to be happy even wit the loss being accrued through their gambling activity.

Good call. I had that feeling with some altcoins back in day. My instinct was saying that i would need to sell as i made 10x or something like that, because if i went to sleep, it might crash to zero as many pump&dump coins did back in time.

But was that self restriction you were using? Because all my instincts would say that i would need to cash out, while self restriction to me would be following trough my plan and wait for every bet to resolve.
This is why i don't watch how much money i would have, even if i would be wathing the games/fights.

If you arent that good when it comes to emotion handling then you would really be still falling down into making bad decisions because emotion is one of the most common culprit if we do speak about
making decisions into our lives not only on gambling but even into everyday living which we should really be that mindful when it comes to this. We should really be responsible on whatever things that we are getting involved into.We cant really just be just too hasty when it comes to things because if things turns out to be bad then it is just because you had made out that wrong decision.
This is why you should really be that responsible and be mindful and be careful on making decisions. Gambling is for fun and it does really need up money for you to spend to be able to play
and able to enjoy.
Without having that sense of responsibility, we cannot develop our abilities into something else that is more useful. In gambling, you are also required to learn and master it so that you will never cross that line when you are playing gambling. And even if you cross that line, you know when to stop and do it when it comes. And by being responsible and careful, we can have fun and enjoy gambling according to our goals in playing gambling. Becoming a responsible gambler may be tough at first, but it is worth learning and mastering.

But there are also gamblers who don't withdraw their money for other reasons such as not meeting the casino's requirements, for example they have activated a bonus or completed KYC and so on, we can't just see from one side because sometimes not all are also due to greed so gamblers continue to play, On the one hand, it is true that not many people have the time to withdraw money when they win, usually they continue to play the winnings to play again so they end up losing.

I believe account freeze due to KYC should be out of the picture for the sake of discussion of gambling responsibly. Also bonus can always be forfeited anytime except from some casino that has an unfair terms but usually it can be forfeit and balance can withdraw immediately when the wagering requirements already met.

Being wise in playing means that we really know when to stop playing, this is what must be learned and instilled in the mindset so as not to be lulled when you get a win so that you feel dissatisfied and keep going back to playing until you lose again, after all, it's rare that people will withdraw when they win, that's why why gambling must be wise in controlling emotions and games.

I believe players know when we should stop playing the only problem is doing it in actual when we are in the influence of gambling because it’s very hard to stop when you are on winning streak and at the same time when you are already down. It’s a dilemma that only few users can get away.

The question is, what happened next? Did you withdraw the money and spend it on something useful, or you just left your winnings there to play more? Don't get me wrong, I think both options are acceptable as long as you are responsible gambler.

I am sure that money was never withdrawn and was again used to get a desired outcome. Almost all the time our greed takes over our common sense. That why we lose whatever we win and then curse our luck. When you are lucky you don't utilize that opportunity, when you run out of luck you continue to believe you are lucky, that is the life of a gambler.

Actually it's not greed that keeps us from being able to control ourselves, but losing streaks.
When gamblers who manage to control themselves in every bet they will start to get emotional when they get consecutive losses and run out of betting capital.
If it's like this, gamblers will continue to chase their losses and fail to control themselves to gamble responsibly.

Nice, good point. yep, we agree with what you said. usually, what triggers most gamblers to lose control or self-control is losing streaks. when in this phase, we are often stuck trying to recover losses and even trying to repeatedly make a deposit again. that in the end, we fail to take responsibility for ourselves. the impact, can be on the people around us.

it can also be the other way around, when someone is in winning mode. someone is motivated to continue the gambling session, even tends to someone is often faced with a phase of difficulty to stop the game session. moreover, if someone hopes to get an even bigger win. In fact, it's not uncommon to double the bet per spin. assuming, today is our lucky day. and yes, if we are lucky, it is unmitigated that the wins we get can be doubled from the initial capital.

However, if the situation changes. usually, our emotions will be triggered to even double the bet per spin. the end result, our balance returns to the casino. at this point, greed is involved without us realizing it. I'm pretty sure, we often run into situations like the ones we discuss in this post. the point is, being responsible is not as easy as we say. although basically, we play for fun. there are times, where we lose control with various factors that cause it. so, just enjoy every session and most importantly never harm the people around us let alone harm ourselves.
Absolutely right, the tormenting loop of wins and losses torments gamblers. Losses breed recklessness, pushing us into a desperate pursuit of recouping. Wins, however, inject arrogance and aspiration, blinding us to the stark reality of probabilities. That whole double-down gamble, under the spell of "lucky day" syndrome, is a mirage. Because luck is unpredictable and undependable. Double bets dont mean double chances to win. Its more like marching into a booby trap.

When the tide turns and victories evaporate, we double our bets, fooled by a delusional sense of mastery. That's the casino's jackpot, and we're left in the dust of remorse and a depleted balance. This lethal blend of despair and avarice - it's a calamity brewing. Remember: if it isnt fun, drop it. Its not about the score, it's about risk comprehension and responsible play

When we too have too much greed as a gambler, we can keep making mistakes we never know why and how to keep getting in it wrong.
It is only money that can make us to something we don't like doing because of the force and several things we can do with money. Those who have the money are still trying there best to make more money because human want is not satisfiable. The same thing happens to us as a gambler and do make us to keep gambling even when we are making loses. The urge to win more will be there and  will make us to wnsy to put more money in gambling so that we can earn more as we keep betting.

Based on my recent way of gambling I think that playing responsible is for example when you get money that you can afford to lose from extra income steams and you gamble a very small amount of that money, this I am doing lately and I  think this is more than responsible gambling.

In order to achieve such results though it is absolutely paramount that your brain dictates what you do and not the dopamine we emit while gambling,so strong focus and extreme self will that will make you stop even though all of your body wants to continue gambling.

people who do not have good self-control abilities will definitely continue to work hard to fulfill their desires continuously gambling and that is really dangerous, and when such tendencies continue, they can be categorized as gambling addicts. It will never be easy to become a responsible gambler, but every gambler (beginner or senior) must be able to become that so that their social life in the real world is not affected by gambling activities (Being a gambling addict is very bad, one can never live in peace and comfort).

Yes, in terms of keeping it inside your mind the desire to play and the wants, that you need to fill, that kind of emotions that you wanted to keep playing and even you are not playing your mindset is being populated by strategy and things that still inside gambling, No peace of mind for people who already engage too much and already being classified as gambling addicted.

You need to have a big self-will to protect yourself in avoiding to become one, with proper balance and a good self-control
knowing your obligation and making sure to continue staying and following your set plans.

It helps to still have that dominance in controlling yourself to not to let that desire of winning huge to conquer you, but more
on enjoyment and contentment of the outcome.

Whatsoever step or decision you take and have not guilty conscience from taking them is as good as making a right choice because even to everyone of us, there use to be a kind of inner weakness or feelings which we have whenever we take a wrong move, so anytime we make a decision in gambling and had no second thought about it or feel repentant on same step taken, i think we've just gamble responsibly.

In order to achieve such results though it is absolutely paramount that your brain dictates what you do and not the dopamine we emit while gambling,so strong focus and extreme self will that will make you stop even though all of your body wants to continue gambling.

There's what we called an emotional control, if our body and mental reasonings is fascinating about something, we can judge right from our conscience if it's something good and beneficial or not and a disciplined kind of lifestyle with emotional control will help in many ways in avoiding taking the wrong steps.
