Op raises good points. I can confirm to the fact that your advise is applicable to gamblers of all levels. If I'm not mistaken, even people who gamble go there and use it to manage their finances and health at the same time because losing money too much—to the point where you have to sell your property—can force you to do other bad things that will harm your health, such as the previously mentioned anxiety, depression, and other things. this things happened to me when I first started gambling, and I put a huge amount of money in without knowing whether I would lose or win, and it affected me, therefore I think everyone seeing this can benefit from the op's advise, thank you man.
You are right that using a lot of money in gambling can affect your mental health at a very severe level if you lose it all time or even half of it. Most of the times, when someone loses half of their bankroll they start panicking and lose the other half only because of that since they start making bigger bets to recover the lost money.

It's better to be a responsible gambler and gamble only within your limits, even if you lose some of your money, you should not panic and you might get them back, but once you start panicking, you start losing more.

Just came across this thread and I have to say that op did a good job mentioned so many important points that is helpful for both amateur and professional gamblers. Gambling responsibly is easier said than done.

Best gambling tip is to invest only what you are willing to lose so that you won't have any regrets later.

This is what you said to only invest in the amount that can afford to lose, this is where there is always a problem. Often when winning with the amount that they are ready to lose, the gambling player eventually becomes greedy, because they think that their money will take a long time to equalize, but instead the amount that they deposited will increase even more.

So often in the end, winning is still a stone and regret is often in the end, so it is important to have self-discipline among ourselves as gamblers to be responsible as a player.
It's a general saying that, "we should bet/trade with the amount we can afford to lose," which I believe is part of valid advice for those that want to gamble responsibly. However, what you have explained in the end is good as it's a way to keep to a good gambling practice without interfering with someone's balanced lifestyle.

All responsible gamblers should always have their cautious rules/guide and must be strict to adhere to them with all discipline and determination.

Recognizing and accepting risks is another aspect of gambling; a gambler is prepared to face the consequences of his or her actions at any time. Scams are rampant in gambling, and if the proper procedures are not followed, one will undoubtedly become a victim of a scam. Another contribution that people consider as a source of money is gambling. It's a passive but very risky, individuals can lose practically all money to gambling, the more losses you record, the more you start betting higher in order to recover your losses, and you end up having your accounts liquidated during the process.
Not many gamblers are ready to accept the risk of gambling and will only regret it when the money runs out after playing gambling. Responsible gamblers do not like that because when they gamble, they know that they also have the opportunity to lose. The only difference is that they are prepared for the loss and don't take too big a risk by losing more money. If people think gambling is a source of money, they should change their mindset and leave gambling immediately because gambling is not a place to make money. They don't need to lose any more money at gambling because it's not worth it, especially if they don't have much money. The higher we bet, the higher the risk of losing, so we need to limit the money, we gamble.

~snip~
It all depends on individual self-control. sometimes professional gamblers who can control themselves to continue gambling responsibly can still be released from it all when the emotion arises when they lose.
Actually gambling responsibly is easy to do but difficult to control, even though if all of that can be applied in one phase we will definitely be able to avoid addiction or disappointment because of losing money because of losing at gambling.
In simple terms we can gamble responsibly and don't go to gambling too often.
Having self-control is not easy, and as you said, a professional gambler can also lose control while gambling. But they can immediately realize their actions are wrong and stop before anything changes. By having responsibility towards themselves and their money, they will not gamble with a lot of money because it won't give many results but can give a lot of losses. Gambling responsibly takes practice and experience so we should keep trying it if we don't feel we have that responsibility. Do not let us be disappointed because we lose a lot at gambling or even become addicted to gambling because it will destroy our lives.

professional gamblers are there mate , they will not be called as professional gamblers if they are addicted or stupid  in this field , those people are known to be expert in all areas of gambling and yes they can control completely their attitude and behavior.
they will not gamble continuously if they knew that luck is not with them,=.
Wouldn't really put professional gamblers up a pedestal about addiction and whatnot. They can still be addicted really, it's just they're more likely not to become one since they've been gambling for so long that they know what's up with it. Being a professional doesn't exactly mean you're immune to being an addict, it simply means you're being paid to do whatever said activity is.

Professional gamblers are only paid when they join an event or compete in tournaments, and I think they are really doing their own gambling outside of it, so they are still prone to addiction, but again, they are professionals, which is why they are easily able to control themselves; they really have self-discipline. Also, I don't know anyone who is a professional, but I do say those who have been into gambling a lot for a long time and are also earning a lot are i would say they are professionals on the

To be honest, I also just found out that there is the term professional gambler, after all how and what is a professional gambler like, can a gambling addict be called a professional gambler, because in my opinion an addict's name does not mean he is a professional gambler because they only play based on emotion, greed, lust that had mixed in him uncontrollably.
I agree that being addicted to gambling does not make someone a professional gambler. While there may be a few exceptions, most addicted gamblers do not possess the necessary skills and experience to be considered professionals.

Professional gamblers on the other hand, are highly skilled and experienced in their chosen games and employ strategies and techniques to improve their odds of winning and minimize their losses.  If you compare them with regular gamblers you can see a clear difference in terms of win/loss ratio. However, regardless of whether you are a professional gambler or not gambling is a high-risk activity, and there is no guarantee that you will end up making a profit and I believe that there's only few in thousands of long term gamblers that end up making profit from it.

To minimize the risks, professional gambling requires a deep understanding of the game, strong discipline, and a willingness to take calculated risks.

I think professional gamblers are just partners of casino sites that you often see on video streamers tweet and win big money and it looks like professional gamblers because they play with the settings of the site not really win for real, they only get paid to display the wins that have been made by the casino, I think that's what professional gamblers call, because there really aren't any professionals but experienced gamblers might exist.

Correct. We have to make sure the casino we will use is safe, and there are no problems because after we deposit the money and play, we are ready to accept whatever will happen, including if the casino doesn't want to pay the winnings we get. The risk is greater if we lose all the money that day because we can be tempted to deposit more money and try to recover the lost money. And even when we win, we will have difficulty withdrawing the winning money. So as long as we can play gambling responsibly, we already understand the risks, and it's up to us to continue playing gambling or use other methods to have fun.
Makes sense. When gambling responsibly, of course, everyone has the courage to take all the risks that will be obtained at any time in gambling which is full of surprises such as withdrawals being refused, KYC rejected, etc.
Gamblers who gamble responsibly usually always use the amount of money they think they can afford to lose or lose in gambling and if a problem occurs, the gambler will not be too disappointed with every decision given by the casino.
Because sometimes gambling at gambling will have unexpected risks and if we lose a small amount, I think it will be fine.
They will know the risks before deciding, which makes them want to bet. But some people are not very aware of the risks but still decide to gamble, and when they have a hard time, they will complain that the casino is a scam even though it is their own fault.

Being a responsible gambler will work in their favor as they can keep things under control. They will not be reckless and play gambling with no more than they can. By being responsible gamblers, they can also protect their money from total defeat in gambling which is often experienced by many gamblers out there. In addition, they also avoid gambling addiction which has become a problem for many gamblers.

Its sad that there are people who do still considering on signing up with them and make out some immediate deposited despite of the reputation that they do have just because they had missed out on reading up
People are easily led astray by big promises and attractive promotions. 1xBit pays a lot of attention on acquiring new players and despite their awful reputation, they do it successfully. The majority of gamblers don't conduct any research. Their investigation begins if something bad happens to them. It's then that they want to know if other people have experienced the same.

What wonders me more is that we have too many people on this forum who don't mind advertising that scam casino in their signature space for a quick buck. They don't care where the money comes from as long as they get paid.
The signature participants are most probably compelled to do that since they have no other option and were probably rejected from other campaigns and it was the only one they could get in, and after getting in, now they obviously can't get into any other campaigns considering their profiles have been tagged red by DT members for promoting a scam casino.

Bonuses and promotions are the way, even if they are not trustworthy, attract new gamblers and if the gamblers are newbies, they obviously won't care much about anything if they see the bonuses they are being offered.

So to reach everyone (beginner gamblers or people who have the potential to become gamblers) needs a warning and also education from the government (especially in countries that legalize gambling) but I see that currently the government's role in educating their citizens is very minimal, they only busy with taxes from gambling but not focused on their citizens who are harmed by gambling addiction (as people who are responsible for citizens, they have no responsibility for gamblers).
Usually there are a seminar or event discuss about gambling addict problem by non profit organizations, usually it will launched in school because it's targeted for young kids. But this make the young kids who not school due to lack of financial will not learn about gambling addict, I think most of gambling addicts are come from uneducated people which lack of financial. So yeah, in order to safe it, all of young kids need to be facilitated by the government to make them school for free.

      -   When it comes to gambling addiction, it is quite difficult to get rid of it right away. But if we look at it, it just started with trial and error and experiencing a good gambling win is what often leads to becoming a vice in the end.

That's why it's really better if you only have a small budget set aside for gambling, don't overdo it, honestly, at least if you lose, you won't have anything to draw, that's it, automatic stop immediately, that's what you should do and if you win Even if it's not a big deal, stop right away and then come back after a few days.

technically, the way you wrote this is the best way for every gambler to avoid addiction due to gambling but not all newbies in gambling understand this trick so most of them can no longer accept advice from experienced gamblers.

I want to say that in my opinion, it doesn't matter whether you're quickly getting attached to things or not ... It's really hard to tell. What matters is your monthly income, and that's what you can easily tell by looking at your paycheck. If it's too low, like less than $400 per month(or, it can be $1,000 per month in some places. It depends on where you live.), you shouldn't gamble at all, period. No excuses. If you want to make additional money through gambling, then you need to see a doctor, a good professional who is able to explain to you have much more chances to make additional money elsewhere rather than through gambling.
I think a sensible person would simply not do that since they should definitely have an idea that they can't actually gamble if they have a limited income that doesn't even allow them to have any savings and if they have any savings from the salary, they can't gamble and it's a sensible decision to save the money instead of gambling them away.

If someone is a responsible gambler, not addicted to it, and has an income that allows them to have some savings and still have some money to spare, they can use that to gamble and have some fun but they shouldn't aim to earn money with it, of course.

I would say that income doesn't really factor into if you are a responsible gambler or not, because even the highest monthly income can be gambled away if we try hard enough. Let's say you only have 100 USD free monthly to spend on yourself, or even less than that, than you could still gamble with it. There is nothing wrong with only placing small bets or play games that don't require too much money. A person that plays a few rounds of slots every week, or that spend 10 USD on scratch cards and the lottery is also a gambler in my eyes. Even though he doesn't spend much money in total, compared to his overall bankroll he is spending much. And if someone doesn't spend above his means than I would consider him a responsible gambler.  On the other side, if someone has 2000 USD every month free that he can spend on himself, but he gambles so much that he loses 4,000 USD then he is not a responsible gambler. It's all about staying within our means and keep our gambling expenses relative to our total bankroll.

Unfortunately, it's easier said than done!
The problem with gambling addiction and addiction in general is that addicts can not control their emotions.
Even if they set a small budget for gambling, after losing it, they will immediately deposit more without giving it a second thought. Some of them will not hesitate to steal or borrow money they know they can't refund after losing their own money.
The best thing to do is to seek professional help before things gets worse.

That's just the exact situation with gambling addiction, it's an uncontrollable feelings that we ensure we must do even at all expenses and later finds our actions being regrettable, so don't have the money with you else you will got tempted and loose control to withdraw and use it for gambling, you can put a food in front of an hungry man and asked him not to touch or each from it after you left, that's very impossible in this kind of situation and you can link such with gambling experience also, an addicted gamblers cannot hold down money without using it for gambling either it belongs to him or not.
Since begining of times humans are trying to beat emotions but mostly they fail. Those one who can do it are successfull in things like gambling trading etc. But those people are so rare. Other thing is gambling to have fun and that I have nothing agains, and that should be the esense of gambling.
It's sad to hear someone lost their house on gambling but I think that doesn't happen so often, it's just that it's such a bad think so we hear about it so often.
