Those addicts gamblers made their mind corrupted already, meaning that they cannot control the urge to gamble and spend their gambling. Their mental framework already been broken for the past and what they need is to visit specialist or by straightening their thinking. It is a bit sad to see a gambler who became addict and it seems like they will have a hard time if they want to fix their current problem.

I read a lot of articles in the past that there are gamblers who keep doing bad and illegal things like stealing, scamming other people and many more just for them to have a capital that they can use for their gambling purposes.

It is not bad to gamble, it will only be bad if we will let our mind control us wherein we are not embracing the risk and we are not managing our expectations very well. Gambling is for the people who have strong mental fortitude. Make a psychology test before you put your money in gambling if you want to not become an addict like majority of the gamblers.

Your topic seems very revealing and I believe this is very pertinent that gamblers take note of this which you have stated here. You know sometimes gambling can be this funny to some extent that one looses control of him or herself as a result of excessive wins or excessive loss. When this happens, you see a gambler being desperate to either win back their loss or continue gambling to win more but at this point, there should be some self restrictions from your own self. Limit your betting at that moment so as to avoid unforseen circumstances.

Casino games are designed to make you lose on the long run, that's how they make money. That's a known fact and it has nothing to do with playing responsibly. Responsible gambling means that you shouldn't spend on gambling more than what you can afford to lose (as On pointed out) and it means you realize that you are spending your money to have fun not to make a fortune.

A person who is under the influence of addiction will have a hard time realizing his situation. In gambling even if they are losing, they tend to continue gambling making chasing losses as a reason to continue. Little that they know when a person is addicted it is not about winning or losing anymore but all about continuing gambling activities regardless of the result and playing more because there is this uncontrol urge that keep them going back.

I've witnessed lots of people who have fallen into gambling addiction during the peak of their lives. They aren't listening to advice since they still got the funds and experiencing winnings. They focus on gambling and they can't hardly notice its negative effect on their lives not until they lost almost everything they have. The worse part is, since they have fallen deeply into gambling addiction, they would find ways on where to find funds for gambling to the extent that they would sell all their assets.
Greed can really change our lives negatively especially if we allow it to rule over our gambling journey.

Sticking to your limit and gambling responsibly is one factor that can't be over looked because most times people want to make all the millions in just few picks and most times greed is one factor that drives people into doom while gambling and people really need to learn how to gamble responsibly and also to stick to their limits especially beyond all odds.
One major disadvantage of irresponsible gambling is the mental stress attached with it and most times it drives people into massive debt and most times sucide and there ought to be a regulatory body to help fight against most of this stigmas.
People easily get addicted to things and I'm pretty very sure that gambling which seems to be one of the laziest and easiest means to make money and live ones dream life isn't exempted.

Well, the logic behind this is that - gambling would let us enjoy the winning moment for a day or two and then the next coming days would either be a huge or minimal losses. A human mind could be easily tricked by this. the joy that brings us when we're having a lucky time in gambling and winning more money would be the main reason why we keep coming back for more despite of the losses that we had.
Being a responsible gambler means not exceeding beyond your financial limit or budget intended for gambling, but to whoever have never crossed beyond that, I can say he's legendary lol. Why? because we all have come to the point where we needed to exceed just to recover some losses, but we all know what's the most probable thing happens next.
