I have no experience in this matter and I think gambling is not related to the relationship and it's only about the games. and if we play the games with our friends, we need to tell them that what we have to get in the end will not disturb our friendship and it's only to have some fun with them. I guess if we can explain to them that we are playing gambling is to get fun in the games and not chase the money, I think they will understand.

Gambling and relationship is very important, just thinking ourselves and not thinking about other people that we love might affect our relationship to them. Look, if you are paying too much attention in gambling, and only spending your little time that you have to your family, you might come to a point where you are completely into gambling, the feelings of your love ones is not important to you anymore because of your addiction.

It must be 80:20, 80% time for you family, and just 20% time for playing gambling.
It hurts. Really we have so many stories of different gamblers who have lost their relationships. Not only with their girlfriends but with the families they were coming off. Their parents had cut out with them just because they were not listening to them and leaving that harmful game. So better is to leave this before your relations start leaving you and keeping you at arm’s distance.

But the point is it is not easy to keep gambling and relationships simultaneously because money matters for family members and if a member of a family is losing it in some ridiculous game while it was the right of family to utilize it for their needs and desires, he won’t be loved by his close ones for sure. He is hurting them in one of the worst ways. That is gambling ruins relations.

The relationship and gambling not was good because gambling will be destructive to relationships.
The gambling can make us lost property even relationships because the couple we don’t want to have a family damaged because gambling
Gambling and relationship in my point of view is just like fire and wood because gambling eats up relationship soon like fire eats wood. Definitely, your relative no matter whoever he is will become sad after losing against you and not finding anything to take revenge from you, he will simply break his relationship with you without thinking for a moment or so because gambling is a fire.
It will not affect the good relationship if you know how to control yourself.
Gambling is risky but knowing how to manage the risk will make us stay away from losing money that we cannot afford, instead we will just gambling
as we are treating it as a way to get entertain.
There is a big list of people who went in there with these intentions and goals to limit themselves and don’t get involved in gambling that makes them addict. But still after some days they were dying to go casino just because the greed of money and taste of win very few times make them convinced that this would be their source of income. However they are completely wrong.

Families and relationships have been damaged in the past just because of this gambling. People don’t want to marry such other people who gamble. Reason they give is a person who don’t have this much sense to save some money for further family, how he will be keeping them happy. So better is not to ruin your relationships and for god sake leave this gambling and adopt a respectable life.

It will definitely be destructive especially if you let it just be like that. If you made the way to make yourselves productive and be focusing on how you can become better, it would have become better. As long as you know your priorities you wouldn't be having a hard time.

I just know that gambling ruins relationship. Gambling does not make the bonds within them stronger but it sets them apart. Once any of them lost their money, they're gonna blame each other or even hurt each other physically.
Results of this can be like that, when each party loses their money and find someone to blame, instead of working on it together both of them will
balme each others resulting to physical confrontations, gamblers mind is no longer about enjoying but getting in it seriously is to dangerous they
will forget about relationship and love and replace it of greediness and out of controls decision.

I don't see the two have a happy ending,
it always ends worse,
we need to choose one out of the two.

This is not necessarily so. Gambling can be fun if you don't risk amounts which you can't afford to lose. Gambling can even help in making a relationship last, when both partners are engaged in the process. But you are right in the situation when only one partner is a gambler, then indeed one have to choose either gambling or the relationship. Gambling consumes too much time and if you are not with your partner in it together the relationship will end sooner or later.
You put on a joke, LOL. Gambling does not have a good thing and only has a lot of evils and losses. Gambling games must be removed from a relationship. Whatever the way that do not ever include gambling in our lives. If you consider gambling as an entertainment then I think it is a mistake because entertainment will never destroy a life. And when we consider gambling as an income then it is a stupidity because there is still much more convincing work and making a lot of money than just hoping for a gambling game.

Well probably not everyone would agree to your statement where it only has evils. Because if you think about it it would really be your self where you let greed destroy your life but if you manage it I think it would lead to a better outcome. It doesn't hurt to have entertainment once in awhile but thinking you could make a lot of money there would be stupid.

That's right, that's when gambling becomes "evil" when people start thinking of it as of a source of income. Treating it as an entertainment you can enjoy it and you can be with your partner in it strengthening your relationship.

... entertainment will never destroy a life.

Oh, really? What about mountain climbing, scuba diving, sky-jumping and many other activities which are entertaining but take the very lives of people, not only their money? What about alcohol drinking which takes tens of thousands lives yearly? I'm not going to stop drinking my beer in the evening just because other people abuse it and die or end up in the hospital. I'm sorry for them, but alcohol should not be called evil because of their abuse. Same refers to gambling. Just don't abuse it and you'll be fine.
Thank you for agreeing with me. I hope that a lot of people would open their eyes with the possible addiction that can come from entertainment. It's saddening that people died because of their hobbies and entertainment to experience happiness maybe they are looking for something else that they think would feel their holes in their hearts. Maybe that's happens when you abuse something or take too much for granted.

I have personally have had my best friends leave me when my gambling habits have gotten to be excessive and have gone too far.
I have skipped work to go to the local land based casino and spent an entire paycheck in just one day.
It can ruin your relation with your wife, sister, brother, mother, father and children.
At this stage the person who is so enthralled in this addictive behavior should seek counseling before it totally engulfs your life and hurt the people that you care for most.
Cause after you are left with no one and not one cent to your name!
It is extremely difficult to come back from that.

Tbh yes! Gambling can alienate us from our relatives and our close friends if we do gambling beyond the reasonable limits. Don't let us get into a situation like that, because of course it will be very painful.
A family member of mine lose his family because he got addicted in gambling, its sad to hear and see people gone this far this should be stop and they should seek help before the situation gets worse like what happen to the person I know.

Yes, family members should not support him for gambling, there is huge risk involved in it when a gambler addicted we cannot divert his mind until he himself changes to the positive side. Instead of losing faith from the family members it is better to controlled by ourselves.

Anyone who has ever been or are in a committed relationship or marriage where both people gamble? Or in a relationship with a gambler with a friend, best friend, family related etc...  Knowing you are in it together is weird comforting and gives me some sort of undefined explanation.

What does that look like for you? Your experience needs to be heard.

Will in reality i never experienced in my life that both my wife and i go into casino  for gambling together, because my wife is a religious person.actually i inherit this kind of behavior to my parents especially my father who been always gambling a poker and cockfighting.actualy during my childhood my father always bring me in cockfight arena and casino to gambling a poker cards and slot machine thats why when i grow up  i know how to play this kind of games and for me being a father and son together in gambling is so weid, thats why when im also become a father i quits in gambling ,to become a good example of my children.
You never experienced to go with your wife to some casino for the sake of gambling because you don’t think it would be a good thing to do. Similarly, others also have the same feelings and they also don’t like to hangout in casinos with their family members. Casinos are the places where one should go with his friend or cousin because after that you will enjoy and if you will go with family, you will return unhappily.
