In that case, I think you should take a break for a little bit. Losing too much causes you stress, and it will make your decision-making less effective because you have this urge to get back on track and recover all the losses you have.

I think what you need to do is count all your losses (if you want to recover all of them) and cut them into little parts so that they won't be overwhelming to look at. A small amount makes it easier to achieve, right? But if you don't want to recover it, just move on and start again.

When you want to gamble again, be disciplined; do not let greed take over. Set an amount that you are okay to lose, so it won't take a toll or you won't be sad when you lose it. Second, set a goal for how much money you want to achieve because being greedy when gambling can affect our decision-making.
Take a break when bills are not taking a break so I don't think I will take a break, but if things are going too extreme then I think the person should look for medical help so let us be smart and not joke with our mental health because as for me I don't think gambling will affect me in any way because, and me, when I lose that, is when I get encouraged the more to even gamble more, cause I feel every disappointment is a blessing that is my belief, and that is why I took it upon my self to gambling a lot and with my own believe it works for me, and I have learned not to count my losses because too me it will be countless, I have notice something in gambling if you want to make money you have to have a drive. then that way you are ready to make money.

If people started to gamble because they wanted to make money, that is something we can understand, but at some point they need to realize that this is not possible and they should change their attitude towards gambling, and if they cannot do this then maybe they should think about leaving gambling behind, as it is obvious they cannot really deal with it in a healthy way, however there is many people that have acknowledge that fact but refuse to stop gambling because they want to recover the money they lost, not realizing they will just lose more money if they keep chasing their losses.

They keep on playing because they already experience winning on it, That's why there's this hope from them that they can earn more without thinking that they can even lose more money from doing it once greed hits them. For me, they can earn in gambling if they do it occasionally and not by assessing it as their main job because it shouldn't. As we know that gambling can lead everyone in addiction if people didn't handle theirself and their emotions properly.
If that is the case those people need to face reality and accept that even if we can get a profitable session once in a while, this cannot be done regularly, the odds are in favor of the casino and even the most elementary and basic research will show this is the case, so anyone that is thinking on obtaining benefits with regularity and believe those benefits can be high enough to offset their losses is simply dreaming with their eyes open, as this is almost impossible to do consistently.

That's true, but if you think about it, there are more people who suffer losses because of gambling than the number of people who can have fun with gambling. I know that the number of losses obtained is also due to their own mistakes in gambling excessively, but what must be remembered is that gambling is not bad if it is done properly, and wisely but in reality there are more people who experience losses or bad things, right? can you be sure of the number of gamblers who really have fun with gambling? I think they will feel happy by getting a win at gambling, there is no way they are happy by just gambling, there must be other factors to be the reason they are happy, but certainly not defeat.

Do you believe gambling can enliven life forever? I don't think so, of course there will be a point where we will feel sick of gambling,  because there is no way that fun gambling will be forever, because I think that fun gambling is because of victory and with victory it is unlikely to happen often, because what is more often obtained is most likely defeat but I agree with the way we respond to it, if we really respond to gambling correctly then there will be no big losses or addiction, but I say again it is reversed.
Even if they become awkward after the problem is resolved, it will be better because the problem can be resolved. They can improve their relationships with their fellow family members, and slowly, surely, the relationships between their family members will recover, and they can live their lives normally as before. But when they have a gambling addiction, they will not accept advice from other people easily because they will justify what they are doing rather than listen to advice from other people.

When someone who is addicted to gambling no longer cares about his family, that's when his family will start to suffer because of the lack of attention from him who is addicted to gambling, and the problems he will experience will get bigger. They will find it difficult to overcome their family's financial problems because all the money will probably be used for gambling, so they will run out of money and not be able to meet their daily needs. Maybe his family would borrow money from others, but that might also cause problems because, after all, they would have to pay it back if they borrowed money from others. Meanwhile, their family has no income, and they have to start looking for work that can generate money to pay off their debts. But if the family can advise the person who is addicted to gambling until the person comes to their senses, that will be a moment to unite the family so that they can start a new life on their second chance.

It is true, something like this can destroy a family where the family has a good relationship, but with someone who is addicted to gambling, it is possible that the relationship that is well established in the family can be destroyed or bad. And indeed in my opinion if someone is addicted to gambling then they will not be able to accept advice from others including from their own family because someone who is addicted to gambling in my opinion they will feel not wrong and feel right that what they are doing is not wrong even though it is detrimental to themselves. because I have a neighbor who has experienced bad things, where he is in debt because of his addiction, and that in my opinion destroys his own life and even his family, this is real in my neighborhood.

That's right, they tend to have a high sense of selfishness and also get emotional easily. In fact, I think that if they owe money to a bank or a friend and when they have money they think about gambling rather than paying off their debt, or if their family needs money like you said, chances are they will only prioritize what they want (gambling). that's true, but in my opinion it is very difficult to make the addict aware, even with the help of other people, because in my environment there is a boy who is under 20 years old, he has just graduated from school, but he is addicted to gambling, there are many things that This happened until he had a debt of 700 dollars just because of his addiction, until all his possessions were gone, such as vehicles, cellphones and others. and I felt sorry for his family, who at that time cried when they found out that this young child already had a lot of debt because of his gambling addiction, and in fact he had been kicked out by his older brother but was still being held by his mother. This makes me think the impact of gambling addiction is very bad.
A family that was previously fine can become a mess just because someone is addicted to gambling, so relationships between family members can no longer work well. They would often get into arguments or quarrels because he was gambling more and more often. Even if someone advises him, it will be difficult for him to accept because he is already too deep in gambling so he will still choose to gamble rather than pay attention to other family members. If he were a father who should be more responsible for his family, he wouldn't do it and would still gamble. Even when he was addicted to gambling, he still didn't pay attention to his family. It is his family who will suffer the impact of what he has done because all his money has been used for gambling.

A sense of selfishness and high emotions will be with these people and as long as they cannot realize what they are doing is wrong, they will still not pay attention to what has happened to their family. They will prioritize gambling more than their family, even though their family is the most important thing in their life. People who are addicted to gambling may borrow money from other people or even from the bank using a house certificate or other collateral so that they can get a lot of cash to use for gambling. He thought that if he could borrow a lot of money, he would also be able to win his gambling games, which could make him pay back all his debts and give him other money. But that would be difficult because gambling was not a place to make money as he imagined. And he will probably lose all his money and have even bigger problems.

That's right, because I think when someone leaves they had a good relationship, but if a problem occurs, maybe if the problem is resolved, it will make everything awkward. That's true, besides, if someone is addicted to gambling, I don't think they will easily accept advice or input from other people, and maybe they will prefer gambling rather than leaving it. because it has become an activity that is very attached so it is not easy to get rid of.

because people who are addicted to gambling probably won't care about things around them, including their family, maybe they might also ignore it, because they feel like it's not something they think about, even though it's something they should think about carefully, because family is their greatest treasure. valuable in life. That could happen, if they have run out of capital to gamble then it is possible that they can borrow money with the aim of gambling again. but of course that is not good, nor is it recommended,  because in my opinion doing that will only make it more difficult for them in their lives. because gambling itself does not guarantee that it will give you a win that can reverse all the losses you have experienced.

I understand your concern about gambling's bad side. Addiction may ruin relationships and finances. Flip the script for a moment. Gamble for fun, adrenaline, and life. Not all is gloomy. I've seen many people gamble for fun without losing control. Its moderation, right? Addiction is complicated. Gamble, but also consider why. What causes addiction? Are they seeking escapism, thrills, or something missing? We must investigate the causes. Dont forget personal responsibility and self-control. I support fun, responsible gambling. Like watching an excellent movie or riding a thrilling rollercoaster. The experience, excitement, and potential are what matter. When done well, gambling can spice up life. What matters is how we handle it, not the villain.

Believe it or not, but most people in gambling have the goal of making money and can use gambling as place to make money, in fact there are quite few gamblers who really want to change their lives from gambling.
This is habit that cannot be broken and the percentage of cases like this will always increase because from the start, novice gamblers also entered gambling just as place to place their hopes on making some money.
But even so, there are still some gamblers who gamble just for fun and the majority of gamblers like this are those who have had quite lot of experience with gambling, they have tasted various bad and sweet experiences from gambling.

That's true, just one family member who is addicted to gambling can destroy family relationships, especially if one family member gambles, it will probably have a strong sense of selfishness in each of them. In my opinion, even though there are other people who know that they are addicted, they always advise the addict, but I don't think the advice that is given will be easily accepted by the addict, because I'm sure you also know people who are addicted. gambling, they will not easily accept advice or other things that lead to gambling which must be avoided, because the addiction factor is already strong so that if they themselves do not have awareness it will be difficult to recover from their addiction.,

That could happen, but you also need to remember that someone who is addicted to gambling will become a more stubborn person, and tend to have a high level of self-centeredness and strength. but what you say is true, if their family still cares about the addict then it is certainly possible that family members will help make them aware so they can see the losses they have had, because people who are addicted, in my opinion, will not easily realize what they are doing. it was already detrimental to themselves Not only that, those who are addicted will of course ignore many things,  including advice from their families, but I hope their own families will not ignore those who are addicted to gambling.
That is what will happen to a family member who is addicted to gambling. It can destroy his family relationships, and he will not be able to advise the gambling addict that he has made a big mistake to his family. However, the gambling addict does not want to accept advice from other people because the gambling addict feels that he is still fine and can still control himself. If he looks and examines himself, he will see that it is true that he has done wrong to his family and that must be corrected as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the gambling addict already has a strong gambling addiction, so he will not want to start realizing his own mistakes.

Someone who is addicted to gambling will indeed become stubborn, not want to pay attention to other people around them and become more selfish. They will not want to help family members who are experiencing financial difficulties because the money is used for gambling. And his family members really couldn't meet their daily needs because they didn't have money. This requires help from other people to help make the gambling addict aware so that he can realize his mistakes and start correcting his mistakes. By realizing his mistakes and having the desire to correct his mistakes, he will know that the other family members still love him and want him to recover from his gambling addiction.

It is true, something like this can destroy a family where the family has a good relationship, but with someone who is addicted to gambling, it is possible that the relationship that is well established in the family can be destroyed or bad. Everyone should be aware of gambling, so that all his money goes to gambling. An amount of money should be budgeted for gambling, so that the joy of gambling is not lost even if you lose. Gambling is definitely a matter of fun and enjoyment, I think gambling companies never influence a person to gamble. Everything depends on yourself in gambling. Gambling companies can never be held responsible for an individual's uncontrolled gambling play. If you feel that you are addicted to gambling then you must gradually come out of gambling. However, it is not possible for gambling addicts to completely stop gambling. Gambling addicts should gamble once in 15 days to break the addiction
Not everyone plays gambling for fun most people go into gambling because of the money they want to win from it, what i have observed from most young gamblers now are days is that they come into gambling as a result of them seeing someone who have won big money from gambling and the person is leaving well with the money might have started something good and they want to earn and be like that, which could only lead them out from the fun that gambling gives and they will end up focusing on the winning aspect which they might end up losing all the time.

Budgeting is great, whether a player is focused on getting fun or not. What is crucial in a gambler's life is being able to avoid compulsive gambling. Like Op is battling with his thoughts, and what gambling has done to him mentally. It's safe to say it's gambling, and not him. But at the initial stage when he started gambling, the blame should be on the gambler. As he was in control of himself. That's the aim of gambler, not to fail during the early stages of their gambling habit. It's a matter of self-consciousness. If Op is keen to change and doesn't want to gamble anymore, it'll take him longer time, depending on the healing method and process. The gambler's family need to also join in changing their ward's lifestyle. No need blaming the casino, being focused on getting cured is the right move expected of any gambler.

Human being do loves money and it would really be just that normal that people would really be coming after that no matter what and as long someone would be able to see those opportunity
then they wont really be stopping until they would really be able to admit out that they had attained their goals in mind until they would be wrecking up themselves until the very end.
This is why it would be always be wise that you should really be needing up that kind of stopping decision on the time that you do really hover up yourself into gambling field.
Once you do create or mold up that kind of intention in mind then it would be the main reason on why you would really be ending up on doing those things
and negative things come after basing up on the decisions that had been made along the way.

Some people realize it. Actually, there are people who after a while, they give up on chasing losses and just focus on the fun part of gambling, in my opinion the key to do it is forgetting about the losses one has accumulated in the casino.
I have read people here in the forum (in this section) who have even suggested others to keep track of their losses so they can know how much they are still supposed to earn from gambling before "quitting". It is a coping mechanism, to be honest, one which serves very well to the purpose of the casino to make as much profit as possible from the volume of people like that.

The saddest part is one encounters some guy in the casino or the internet who claims to have found a way to break the code of the casino and make constant wins out gambling: by playing in specific slots, on specific days of the week or waiting for the casino to perform maintenance on their machines before playing. Whatever, we all know how it ends up in the end when those who chase losses and try to break the code.

I don't believe that some people only gamble for money while others do it just for fun. Let's be honest here, even those who aim to win large amounts of money still enjoy themselves and have fun while gambling. The feeling of fun only changes to other emotions once they lose their money. However, the fun is always present because nobody would repeatedly do something they don't enjoy. They will eventually quit if they don't feel any emotion, including enjoyment.
Experienced gamblers will know how they have to have the right attitude and one of them is that they realize that gambling is not place to make money and indeed gambling is just place to have fun.

How can one control the uncontrollable urge to keep gambling despite the toll it takes on once life.

It's getting worse every day. I'm extremely depressed I have thoughts of unaliving myself more often, some times I feel the betting companies manipulate people spiritually to get them addicted where be playing without plans and strategy. Once a bet place get cut, there is this uncomfortable urge to quickly book another one with the plans of recovering the first money lost but it will end up cutting again.
You can help yourself if you believe that casinos are manipulating people, it might be the unbelievable true that many will find hard to accept, so why don't you accept this and be free from gambling addict? It means you still have a doubt that you might be wrong, I mean if I can make up my mind that gambling is a complete fraud right now I will never gamble again, it's that easy, because I believe it's really complete fraud.

What you believe will either set you free or keep you in prison for so long, killing yourself is not the solution, you are only going to damage your spirit being and probably pay for doing so, there is no amount of damage that life brings on you or you bring on yourself that's worth your life.

For someone who is already addicted to gambling, the day you really really quit is the day you win, it's the day your winning begins because you beat the unbeatable, now you can beat anything, you have control.

The solution to gambling is don't get addicted at all...

When you win = you wanna win more.

When you lose = you wanna get the money back.

You never win, that's why the casinos exists, only those who can control themselves are true winners, casino odds are very bad, that's why risking only what you can afford is just the best, even if you are making $10,000 per month, you should stay with risking few dollars.

I can't imagine if a family all did gambling, maybe the family would be very difficult financially because of course with all of them playing gambling then their finances would prioritize gambling,  because in my opinion if one family member has gambled and shows the family also the family because they want to solve their financial problems,  maybe they will also be carried away by gambling. over time I think they can accept it and will stop with their addiction. because it is also for their own good.

It's true, someone who is addicted to gambling in my opinion will indeed experience differences in behavior and sooner or later of course it will become a question of their own family.  but this only applies to families who really pay attention to their family members to be honest,  in my opinion, not all families have a good relationship, and also with everyone's different attitudes  so there may be some of them who let one of their family members do things that they think are cool, fun, and make them comfortable. but on the other hand, most families are certainly not like this  a family must have a good relationship, so they pay attention to each other.
I also can't imagine if that happened to a family that had a gambling addiction because it would tear the family apart. Perhaps they wouldn't be able to cure their gambling addiction if no one else knew about their gambling addiction. Financial difficulties will come, and they will not be able to solve their financial problems, and they will only use the money they have to gamble again. But when there is a family member who is addicted to gambling and does not cause other family members also to experience a gambling addiction, perhaps other family members will try to pull those who are addicted to gambling out of gambling.

A person who is addicted to gambling will change both his attitude and behaviour so that if one of his family members finds out, they will try to help him before his gambling addiction gets worse. Some families don't care about other family members, and I have also seen this in several families around my neighbourhood. They tend to ignore what one of their family members is doing, but when this family member experiences problems, then they try to help them. However, when a family member experiences a problem, they will unite to help him solve the problem.

I don't believe that some people only gamble for money while others do it just for fun. Let's be honest here, even those who aim to win large amounts of money still enjoy themselves and have fun while gambling.
