Even though to me, Litecoin is not really that coin that I desires to keep, I still think it will be good to gamble with altcoins than with bitcoin.
Do you even look at the transaction fee for sending bitcoin?
If you send some  bitcoin to your gambling platform, you are quite still unsure if you will be wining the game or not.
Its doesn't make any sense wasting all that money on transfer and playing and still fail.
So I think altcoins are the best option for gambling, because of the less transaction fee.

Agreed, we have to spend more than $25 for transaction fee if we are using bitcoin to gamble. It is not small amount for some gambler including me, while in fact I can use that $25 for gamble instead of to pay the fee. So using altcoin is the best option to gamble now, recently I prefer to use dogecoin because I need to spend less than 5 doge for the transaction fee.
Hopefully all the bitcoin network problem will back to normal again so we do not need to spend so many dollars just for the transaction fee.

Before some time you couldn't find a site that had accepted altcoins for the games. Today altcoins are widely accepted and as the market changes and as the developers behind the altcoins are improving their software and the price of the altcoin is shifting the casinos are spreading their payment portfolio and changing the means of the payment. I am personally only gambling with the BTC and I am not afraid of segwit. Other gamblers are trying alternatives like Dogecoin and Monero. In some casinos, the Bitcoin minimal bet had stayed the same that is why many of the users are escaping from it in the gambling rooms and are using other altcoins.
Yeah people switch their needs in digital money to altcoins since bitcoin recognized as an expensive one with its high fee , not wort for you to transfer money frequently. It could be gamble and investment at the same time , if you want to take another risk I think it's better to gamble with altcoins to convert it later in the future to bitcoin in larger amount.
Honestly, unless for someone who is planning to leave their funds on the gambling site, it is not really something that really makes any sense.

It is good though that most of these gambling sites are already offering a lot of altcoins that you can make use of and try your hands around, which with the transaction, makes it cool compared to bitcoin, until maybe when we have the scaling issue solved.

it is now the right to switch from bitcoin to other cryptocurrency like dogecoin for betting where the transaction of bitcoin is quite high now. it is also gives an opportunity to other altcoins to rise as they they were used as an alternative choice for betting, the only advantage they have is the high tps and low tx fee.

Has anyone heard of vertcoin and using it for betting with but do not hold any.
Is it a reliable coin to use as a replacement for bitcoin?
Will give it a try once I get my bitcoin out of being stuck in the blockchain for a whole day now due to a low fee paid of $25. Roll Eyes

You can check WBet7.com - bet accept almost altcoin like Dogecoin, Ethereum, Monacoin, Vertcoin, Litecoin....
Because those a valuable alts where we can keep it for almost year. Monoco is very potential coin that other gambling site can also use it as their accepts payments. There are many site now accepts altcoins because the bitcoin now is so much more expensive so other site much more prefered now altcoins than btc they turning their heads to altcoins now that is why there are many gamblers more buying alts now than btc because of the price of bitcoin it will affect also the subscribers.

If I was going to gamble for profit I would use bitcoin but if it just for fun and enjoyment I would be more inclined to use alt coins. Although if I did win big with them I would have been annoyed that I didn't use bitcoin.

What's the difference, I see no difference with what you just stated. There is no advantage when you use bitcoins for gambling if you just want to enjoy or you want to make a profit. They both have the same chances of winning or even profits. If you gamble with altcoins it is also the same, you will have no advantage doing so. In fact it is much more disadvantageous to use altcoins as you have the converting to it problem.
Bitcoin and altcoins has their respective value, the only big difference why people will prefer to use altcoins is because of the transaction fee, but I can still say that there are still a lot of bitcoin users than altcoins users in gambling because bitcoin is more popular and people trust it more than altccoins. For people, who are wise enough and constantly gamble, they will take advantage on the less transaction fees as long as a certain altcoins is a high volume ones.

I don't feel constrained because price of bitcoin expensive so i have to gambling with altcoin. Depends what i have, if i have btc then i will gambling using btc, also vice versa.

Yeah, before I gamble using my bitcoin since the price isn't that much but now it's different as the price increases more than 50% so I just use altcoins depends on the game that I'll bet and the availability of my coins.

It would be wise to keep your valuables in your pockets. At first, gambling is not a very cool game. It is like wasting your money. Above that, going for it with digital assets mean increasing the loss. That would be stupid actually.

All that glitters are not gold. Gambling with bitcoins or altcoins attracts due to the ease it offers, but it has greater disadvantages.

I wouldn't say that gambling is like wasting your money.
When you gamble you end up either losing your money or winning funds, of course the chance of you to lose funds is much higher then the chance of winning anything , but if you are gambling for fun you should be okay.
I think that most of the people who gambles for fun ends up with a smile and does not care at all about the lose they had

It is depend on us who gambles. If we just play because we just want to do something with our spare time and not aiming for profit, well that is just okay to play as long as you know how to handle yourself. Gambling with altcoins will do, I think there is no problem using altcoins in gambling, it is just the same crypto-currencies. It is depend on a gambling site if there are gambling sites accepting altcoins.

its pretty hard to find a gambling site that use altcoin, especially on sportsbook.
Yes, only for sports betting. But there are so many of them. Crypto-games.net has about 10 different altcoins the users can gamble with, and I think fortune jack also. Just google and see how many they can be.
However, either the user is gambling with altcoin or bitcoin, the same set of rules apply, just have fun since you may or will definitely lose all unless you are just very lucky and ready to pave away with your winnings without looking bad and that can be pretty hard to do.
Technology has really give us easy in all of our tasks and Google has a whole list of gambling sites where altcoins or bitcoin can be used for placing bets but the question that arises in my mind is that is it wise to gamble with crypto currencies, especially bitcoin. These all are investment tools and some can really make us rich in short period if we hold them. Gambling is a stupid game after all.

but so far nothing happened yet , we need more sports book to accept alt coin , so the crypto currency growth could be accelerated .

Well your are right, one site that is popular before was directbet and they are accepting altcoins but now they are closed already.
I think there are other sites out there if you would search and really love to play, we will be going to that direction, bitcoin is the most popular but altcoins are also getting popular now, we can check that on the entire market and altcoins are growing so sportsbook operators are sure interested on the growth as well.
