All that glitters are not gold. Gambling with bitcoins or altcoins attracts due to the ease it offers, but it has greater disadvantages.

I wouldn't say that gambling is like wasting your money.
When you gamble you end up either losing your money or winning funds, of course the chance of you to lose funds is much higher then the chance of winning anything , but if you are gambling for fun you should be okay.
I think that most of the people who gambles for fun ends up with a smile and does not care at all about the lose they had

It all mindset how we think but in terms of dollars, we may be betting the same amount. But nowadays many people switch to altcoins because to avoid high transaction fees and for faster confirmation because bitcoins sometimes takes forever to get confirmations and if someone wants to play with a small amount then their fee amount will be quite high.

i used to play with Dogecoin , its nice to see a winning with 1k or above and i don't like playing with decimals like bitcoin its smells like i have 0 balance

For instance, I lose 0.01 Btc today that means I almost lost 380 dollars but in future when Bitcoins will be 10k dollars, just imagine the amount then.

Gambling altcoin actually is fit with people who want to hold that coin. But in real meaning, we're losing money in both ways .Owning some altcoin has their own fun. Like etherum is an example, for now etherum is a good currency to gamble cause the price is going to be crazy after the hard fork.

How is fun gambling would mean you will still lose first you were losing your bitcoins now lose your altcoins. We are losing but holding altcoin for short term is always profitable otherwise what's the use of trading altcoins are surely nothing compared to bitcoin but they are not that bad also

that's what most of us here said before, because of much faster and lesser transaction fee its a good alternative to play using alts and we can easily
trade it back to btc after we win, other than that i think its still the same because we are still risking our money.

But when it comes to altcoin there's a lot of things must be done , such as hiring an expert on altcoin market.
And it cost quite a lot of money (more than e-money fees in fiat casino) that makes casinos reconsider to accept altcoin and choose bitcoin only.

For me it is much better and good to gamble using bitcoin than any other altcoins, in terms of gambling that's what I'm talking about.
Or it depends on the altcoin which your are going to use like Ethereum, Litecoins and Etc, something like that.

Ext, but it is still going to be less than you'd have spent on Bitcoin transactions in and out of your wallet into fundoyoyr online gambling websites account. I think it's better to compare the various exchanges and their dates before selling that Altcoin. Since coinbase is offering litecoins and ethereum wallets I guess it will be easier/cheaper to convert then on the same platform than cross platform.

There are bunch of cons and pros of betting with altcoins.

If you bet with altcoins you will probably pay a much lower transactions fees then you would pay if you would place the same bet with bitcoins.

But the main con that makes me think again once I plan on betting with altcoins, is that once I want to convert the altcoin to real money, I will most likely need to convert the altcoin to bitcoin and then to fiat, which is going to cost me a bunch of exchange fees.

Yes, cryptocurrencies have paved the way for modern online forms of gambling and that's the future. I gamble with Altcoins and Bitcoins week in and out on sports and it feels better than the conventional fiat gambling in betting houses.
