I think it's time for some casinos and sportsbook to accept altcoins like ethereum, bitcoin cash and many else, because the fees on bitcoin is really big right now, people who want to gambling need to sent the fee around $20 or even more which is really big.
Exactly, Last night I was planning to gamble my XRPs to cover my loses (after dip in price  Cry ) and I could barely find a good Gambling site which accepts XRPs.
Ripple has fast transactions, Fastest for me being 5 seconds (yes, that's true) and Transaction fees are negligible.

Gambling with Bitcoins now is pointless, why would someone waste $30ish as transaction fees for Gambling which is meant for making money h@h@

There are a lot of casinos that are accepting alternative cryptocurrency, and it would be different because you would have a lot more coin to gamble with instead of bitcoin itself. Don't you think so?  Bitvest is also accepting alt coins and you could gamble there.

Bitcoin transaction fees is starting to get more and more expensive for gamblers to deposit into their account on gambling sites, so I believe the market for altcoins will grow bigger in future on the gambling community, and we can surely expect to see more players wagering with altcoins.
In altcoins market we have a lot of choices and I hope more casinos will accept altcoins so it will give us a chance to gamble all the time.
Bitcoin is good but not this days due to the transaction fee and you cannot just bet small amount as the fee alone will already kill your bankroll, still majority are accepting only bitcoin but sooner they will realize that it will attract more customers when they start accepting altcoins.

I personally don't understand why all Bitcoin / cryptocurrency casinos don't accept the top 10 cryptos and just convert them into their own crypto and then you could exchange or use the equivalent value of the one you deposited (such as BTC, LTC, Monero, etc.) and cash out in one of those.

The days are over where BTC is the only player in the game. Now there are cryptos coming out left and right and nothing is going to stop that. BTC just needs to improve and hopefully soon because fees are through the roof (obviously).
Basing on the current situation of bitcoin when it comes to fees and confirmation times then i would say altcoin is much more better when it comes to these things nowadays.Luckily most gambling sites are giving these options not for the sake of players but also for them because fees will surely hurt em up if players decide to withdraw specially when theres lots of players on the sites.I havent seen as of now a gambling site has its own token which can be converted to other coins.

That is the reason why i use altcoins for gambling these days because it is able to confirm faster and comes with very low transaction fees. Bitcoin is slow and on the high side these days and so it makes every sense to use the alts. I also think it will be great to have gambling houses with their own tokens where we can even mine them to gamble on the site.

One of the reason houses avoid allowing deposits in alts and let you cash out in some other crypto is because it often overhadows the purpose of the house, users would often use it as just another quick exchange for their cryptos.
I have a fair idea why house would try to avoid this but not much insights on this, I just read this on this very forums quite a while ago.
which is possible also to do some mixing stuff, house wont allow this and let people take advantage since crypto have fluctuations and house will
lose if players will keep exchanging crypto's over another cryptos. but in terms of allowing alts inside, I guess most casino's will allow those top
alts so players have good options.

It is all about variety and not really about which one who likes what.
Some sites are charging $20 just to withdraw using bitcoin.
Now that is just ridiculous because most winnings don't even cover this amount.
This is what anyone who is betting on these sites care about when it comes down to it.
It is all about how much they are paying in fees.
And as it stands, bitcoin is the most expensive to transfer to and transfer out of these online casino wallets.
And all the others are the cheapest. Such as Xrp and Ltc.

If you want to bet with altcoin like Dogecoin, WBet7.com is good option for you. We accept DogeCoin, no verification document required, payment is automatically and instantly.

How are you so sure about that casino? it has no reviews at all in this forum, it is a little bit risky to try to join or click a link that cames from a newbie.

I dont know, but i searched it on the internet and there are no reviews at all, at least on facebook and twitter.

Maybe if you can explain it a little bit we can enter to your casino and start our journey in there.

Yes, we're more than 5 years in with Perfect Money and new to cryptocurrency but we will try our best. We already have official thread in bitcointalk forum here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wbet7com-sport-bet-accept-eth-etc-btc-bch-doge-ltc-dash-vtc-pm-2607019 and hope that after few years later, we're not a newbie here.

If I was going to gamble for profit I would use bitcoin but if it just for fun and enjoyment I would be more inclined to use alt coins. Although if I did win big with them I would have been annoyed that I didn't use bitcoin.

What's the difference, I see no difference with what you just stated. There is no advantage when you use bitcoins for gambling if you just want to enjoy or you want to make a profit. They both have the same chances of winning or even profits. If you gamble with altcoins it is also the same, you will have no advantage doing so. In fact it is much more disadvantageous to use altcoins as you have the converting to it problem.
Bitcoin and altcoins has their respective value, the only big difference why people will prefer to use altcoins is because of the transaction fee, but I can still say that there are still a lot of bitcoin users than altcoins users in gambling because bitcoin is more popular and people trust it more than altccoins. For people, who are wise enough and constantly gamble, they will take advantage on the less transaction fees as long as a certain altcoins is a high volume ones.
Right, the amount of cash you will have to pay as transaction fee is just quite huge and that makes it unbearable and having to wait a long time even with the transaction fee even sucks the more. Just recently, I tried withdrawing from freebitco.in and now it has taken over 2 days even after it has been added to a block and still not confirmed yet. Altcoins are already taking the space.

Problem is, if you do not have bitcoins then there is little chance that you would have altcoins. There are not much services accepting fiat as payment to get altcoins. Usually, to get altcoins you have to trade bitcoins for them, hence the problem now is that you will still have to use bitcoins. If you have bitcoins then deposit it directly to the casino than do the extra step of converting your bitcoins to altcoins and vice versa when you want to cash out.

transaction costs are what causes gamblers to find other options to start gambling and of course altcoin is one that can provide transaction fee waivers. and as long as I'm a doge is the best option to gamble

Even though to me, Litecoin is not really that coin that I desires to keep, I still think it will be good to gamble with altcoins than with bitcoin.
Do you even look at the transaction fee for sending bitcoin?
If you send some  bitcoin to your gambling platform, you are quite still unsure if you will be wining the game or not.
Its doesn't make any sense wasting all that money on transfer and playing and still fail.
So I think altcoins are the best option for gambling, because of the less transaction fee.
Altcoin gambling is growing day by day and it is quite a bit easier way to earn by altcoin gambling as the price of altcoin picking up and also as you said transaction fee is less than the bitcoin that is the main reason to say altcoin gambling is a better option.
