Thats good idea that to create a poll or a survey to determine how many people were doing gambling and to identify also of how many people who having fans in other coins,but in other place we should consider that there some celebrity and popular people who done gambling,but they want to still become anonymous, to protect there name and there asset or wealth to become a controversial in media,thats why its better for us of now to take aside that now the situation,for the interest of common goods.

I had already voted the pool my choice is bitcoin and i was found out that there are too many voting of bitcoin compared in altcoins. I think the reasons behind bitcoin is mostly common now and very popular to gambled compared to altcoins even though it is now very high fees and low transaction still it is bitcoin. For me if i gambled altcoins then if i won i changed it into bitcoin, so why i choose altcoin that there are many fees to transact not like just bitcoin, it is bitcoin already easy to change into fiat. Have you get my point? Grin

You would really feel the changes since you are already get used to make some strategies with bitcoin betting and when you try to switch into altcoins then value would really differ but playing with altcoins is somehow enjoying because you can extent on the values being used.This thing is entirely depending on peoples or gamblers preference.

I mainly gamble with bitcoin , though I have gamble with BURST, DOGE,ETH and LTC. We need to make slight change in strategies when we move to different coin as in the max of gambling site we have a fixed minimum bet. And as I used to gamble with bitcoin so I feel comfortable with my strategies to doing so.

I see many people are using Vertcoin for betting.

I never use vertcoin for betting and I use dogecoin or litecoin but the most coin that I use is dogecoin. I don't know how much fee to send vertcoin and I think it is easy to use dogecoin and the fee is only 5 dogecoin which is too cheap and if we want to buy dogecoin, the price is very cheap so we can use dogecoin for playing gambling for all day.

What's the difference? You are still gambling, it's like when you lose on trading you immediately go to a gambling site to "try" and get back your money. Which is supposed to be a sin to any trader. This is the primary reason why yobit incorporated a dice game on their trading site. For people like you that tend to gamble after they lose on trading. You should really reconsider your options when you do this. If you want to just gamble, leave trading out of it. Buy alts and gamble, don't trade and gamble your position.

Gambling with altcoins (DOGE and LTC) has been my alternative whenever I see a drop of price of altcoin. So instead of selling them at loss, I just transfer them to my account is Bitsler and play with them for a chance to double or multiply the amount of altcoins that I hold.

I agree but the current increase of Dogecoin makes me stay away from them for a time being. So I am sticking to Litecoin for now if ever I got my budget. I will convert it to LTC and play ( to save thousands of satoshi from transaction). Anyway it is always great to have Casino sited supporting some altcoins since it gives variation to the game plus the volatility profit that it will give.

With today's bitcoin network and transaction fee problem, this is a sure thing. Altcoin gambling will likely be mainstream and we can already see it now as a lot of bitcoin only casinos have been adopting altcoins like LTC, XMR, and even DOGE. This is kinda revolutionizing gambling again. However, I still believe that unless there is a direct way of purchasing alts (not buy btc then exchange them to alts), I don't think this will flourish that much as it is just an extra step in crypto.

Right now gambling with altcoins is going to become more and more common bitcoin fees do not allow you to gamble as much since most of the money goes to the miners so we need to use other coins, I think casinos will have to adapt as well to this since less and less people can afford to gamble with bitcoins

Exactly, dogecoin has a second favorite number in altcoins gambling. But instead of it people like to play gambling with bitcoin, the reason bitcoin is still popular and have more attraction that's why people like to play with it. I always prefer bitcoin than other altcoins becasue i like bitcoin and i like to win in bitcoin.

That's the key, its just because we want to win bitcoin, we'd been use on playing with bitcoin that sometimes it just hard to play with alts especially in calculating on our mind the amounts that we won or lose while playing, I'd try to play with alts sometimes, but still the enjoyment felt when playing in bitcoin were still different.

What I have observed is gambling with altcoins are due to the bitcoin transaction fees only. Even the altcoins at one stage would like to convert it very aggressively to bitcoin only. So Altcoins are still long run to go compare with bitcoin so better to play with bitcoin in gambling will be safer for anyone where you can save time it.

I wouldn't go as far to say that Bitcoin is dying, it's still by far the most popular coin. Altcoins might have the same problems with scalability, but they just don't have the amount of transactions as the Bitcoin network has.

Bitcoin is really far from dying even though it do experience some issues as of now regarding fees and confirmation times but same as eternalgloom said its still far away to compared on those altcoins in the market.Community support is still big which we can really see that theres still interest on it no matter what.People might going for other options on using altcoins but in the end of the day they would still comeback for their alts to be converted on btc.

Yeah i agree with you mate even me i must prefer in bitcoin when i played gambling because that only coin that i have. There are too many casino's who accepting altcoins in gambling just like ethereum, litecoin and dogecoin it is most popular altcoin basically used in gambling.
But bitcoin is the most popular among of all altcoins use in gambling site or in casino, there are some other people also used their local fiat to gambled.
Disadvantage of using bitcoin in gambling site is having high fees compared to altcoin.

Indeed the fees are so low but i cannot see if there is a lot of casino adopt dogecoin already.
You might can use it in several casinos such as fortunejack , but for sure there's no much option available.
Where with bitcoin you can use it in almost every single casino include several fiat casino who accept bitcoin.
