I thought the OP was talking about crap coins in the market rather than actual garbage. But then i agree in both. We could recycle both and make considerable money off of it. In my city it was such a big problem in previous year that we almost sink in that garbage. It was so bad, the smell was everywhere, I'm wondering how bitcoin could help that situation if will be integrated. I guess what you referring to as garbage are project that does not have great potential to deliver or scam project, if you feel a project is going to be garbage, then I always recommend you invest a very little amount that won't be like a loss to you and ensure you instantly take profit and your capital.At times some project do surpass our expectation.

This problem is more of an ecological, than economical, I guess, because this doesn't reduce the volume of plastic that is needed to be recycled. Yes, people can gather garbage and sell it to have some tiny amount of money, but this won't reduce the level of unemployment, this doesn't enhance the export from the country and definitely doesn't increase demand for the national currency. The government can hire people to collect and deal with the trash, or they can leave it to the citizens and pay them off, but all the gain that will actually go to the government is this difference between the salary they pay to the employees and the amount of money they give to volunteers.

How does this post has a connection to cryptocurrency? Anyway a garbage is a garbage with no use at all it cannot be recycled. Those recyclable materials is not considered as garbage in my own term.
I agree that garbage is really that hard to control especially if the government of a certain country has no will to properly handle this serious problem. Most common problem with garbage are in the 3rd world countries were garbage really is a problem wherein people don't have dicipline where they just throw their garbage wherever they wanted to. Government of a certain country should strongly uphold strict compliance and enforce proper law enforcement for those offenders. Other countries were using it as a renewable source of energy which I hope could also be adopted by some countries.
In my opinion, in developing countries they have a tremendous amount of waste, and it affects the environment and climate change. But in these countries, the waste recycling industry has been ignored and intends to develop them. If garbage considered as a way to get rich, this will be the wealthiest country in the world.
