4 Petahash is just ~56 BTC / day, right? That would not even cover the Zenpool payouts.

Anyway, it is pretty clear that Josh's boasting about "Amazon, Walmart" yadda-yadda is just him saying that the BTC card works the same as a debit card. You can use it at any of those stores because--wait for it--they accept debit cards.

It is humorous that Josh took an old idea in the crypto industry and then "invented it."


Not sure how a new alt coin helps anyone. If he wants to have a debit card that uses crypto, then just use BTC.

about new coin,well if hash community support it and some new partners even being control i mean 5 ph hardware.... who knows if they are from those new coin.... if it will set as bitcoins unlimited mining ,my guess is they will mine new coin with those hardware.... and they can maybe limit the mining speed i mean like for day only 18ph mining avaible  soo  if they get in with 12ph or more i dont know how much power they have free miners will be able to get in too,as bitcoin who enter first on the begining paid 2 or 5 dollars for unit if they hold them nowadyas worth 300 dollars..... soo this will be an opportunity for first people getting in soo we will get in at begining....soo if coin will start at 0,001 dollars december it can go to 0,01 dollars on 2015 as the coins ammount you have you can make 10x investment... soo think 1000 dollars with new coin and sell it at 0.01 it will boost to 10000 soo 9000 proof .... for sure they will allow a market and maybe the currency will the hashcoin ,we will need to buy them with bitcoin or even real money and the market and who knows if they set a market as CEX,io has trading platafform allowing to crypto trades.... soo will bang and hit the industry.... stop think down we will go higher.... i bet primes will reach 100 dollars..... as they should only allow to mine this new coin with them..... soo no hardware....to get in ,all will have to invest on them to be able to boost ROI..... otherwise may get in to buy and sell market that will take some time to be put on sale as if sell too soon will lost money and is keep it can rise soo who didnt invest on begining will lost the oportunity to make eay ROI

Does anyone actually believe that GAW has been in contact with such large companies as Josh has suggested(Target/Walmart/Amazon/Macy’s) and that Hashcoin will have anything even close to a 250 million market cap and that somehow all of this has been kept quiet throughout the crypto-currency(cc) world. I suggest they have been in contact with very few small companies that already do some business with bitcoin or other cc's and maybe, maybe it will have a 2.5 million cap.

-EXACTLY!!! I have had nothing but POSITIVE experiences with the @GAW-Staff and @GAW_CEO! If there were any issues I just created a ticket and I was ALWAYS contacted by customer service, mostly very quickly. So I just get pissed off when I read people's comments about badmouthing the company, calling it a scam etc. Like if you don't like it and have nothing nice to say then get the F out! We don't need deconstructive people on this forum.

But to answer your question, if I would receive enough Prime Power to put me ahead of Craig on the Champions list (about 15,000 MH) then I would consider wearing the Hash logo on my forehead! hahahaha I think if people would see me wearing a Hashlet shirt and tat they would think it is a name and logo for a basketball team I play for, or the name of the main sponsor.. hahaha

Josh did announce he was going to meet with the Cryptsy people and HashTalk was speculating a buy out, but I think if that happened people would leave Cryptsy cause everything would be GAW this, GAW that and people would get tired of that.  But if it isn't traded on any exchange how would these companies he says they are working with make money off of HashCoin.  The fact that ZenPools payouts are based off of contracts is really concerning.  

New coin is certainly interesting idea. It can be something huge if GAW's is doing it. For now I will watch it closely and see what happens. Maybe invest some money to try it out.

I want to know specifics

how do they know the value of the coin?- to shoot a number like 250,000,000 dollars is nuts. There is currently no why to transform hashpoints to anything. So everyone mining the hashpool is going on faith the points will be converted to hashcoin. right now GAW is setting value at .01 per point. In order to have a real value it needs to be traded on an exchange. There is no way it will become that valuable overnight. Why hasn't any retailers announced an alliance with GAW? Why is he releasing the biggest announcement in crypto at 2 am on a Tuesday morning? What happened to Zenpool (The most profitable pool ever)? He has so many ridiculous statements its hard to keep track anymore.. Thats the M-O create chaos and ban the people who question the insanity of it all. On- and On and ON...

These are the 4 things I want to know right now about hashcoin

HashCoin just makes no sense to me for what Josh is promising. 
1. He wants it to be bigger than BitCoin, but how can it be if it will be completely controlled by GAW which goes against the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies of being decentralized. 
2. Will they put it on to the exchanges or is it only allowed on hashbase.
3. If it's not allowed on the exchanges how will its value go up.
4.  He wants it to "change the world" but getting people outside of GAW/Zen to accept another new coin will be hard when bitcoin already has an established community and especially when it can only be mined with Prime hashlets. 

Look at all the altcoins that have come and gone and there are maybe a few that have really gone anywhere and doge probably would of never made it without the Reddit community.

Sold 300 primes and got 37.00 each..These were all hosted miners converted to primes so I didnt do to bad. Its everyone who has invested the last month or so who I worry about. I surely hope that something is done to make them whole. In the mean time I will wait and swoop in for the clean-up in a few weeks when nothing happens with this coin!! LOL

Was shadow banned last night for questioning all the Hype on the new coin.. WTF.. There is something fishy going on. I have been with GAW 6 months and sold all my primes. You watch!! The story will change tomorrow.. The white paper was to be released which will give everyone the real story(at least I hope). This is 1st time I really have to question motives of the CEO.. The postings all over the site about "ALL in" etc. etc.. really should be addressed by CEO as not advised because of the nature of the business. This smells bad..

Yep, the prices are sliding down despite all the hype. I wonder if BTC rise (if it sticks) will lift the prices a bit.

It's interesting that the exclusive-collectible Legendary costs now LESS (~$58) than regular primes through resellers during the "out of stock" flip flop ($70).

MultiHashlet seems to have some speculative potential. $5 yesterday, $7 earlier today, now around $6.

I bought some cheap Zens mainly for experimenting with hash-things.  ~$12 now.

Whoaa massive price drops on zencloud...multi's @ $6.95 is half price, zen's @ $14.95, and prime's being sold for $35.70!

Glad I got $40 for my Primes a couple weeks ago & $17-$18 for my Zen's. Thanks all who bought!

To be honest, 0,01 (what I'll be missing from my day worth of mining) is just not worth the hassle anymore with reporting since it took me weeks to get missing hashlets fixed.
Got ROI and 0,09 on top of it, so from here I'll just wait and empty the account every day. Have the free 2 Mh/s Prime that I'll keep to exploit that hashcoin if that ever comes. But to be honest, I'm out of the loggin in, doubledipping, checking rates and other crap. I'll put them to zenpool and spend my time in this topic instead. If I'll login incidentally, yes I'll click DD, but it won't be a daily routine. Mainly because of all this kind of half/non-working crap.
I'm not that annoyed that I'll sell everything and more elsewhere, I don't think they're an outright scam, but I'm getting tired of the hyping

I think maintenance fees are still messed up too. It looks like the fee is applied according to what you owned at the beginning of the day. E.g. if you purchase a hashlet you won't pay maintenance for the first (partial) day, if you sell it you will pay full maintenance for the last (partial) day. At least I haven't seen fractional fees so far, it's been all or nothing. Now same thing seems to be happening with HP pool. The first day when you select HP you still pay the full maintenance fee. I hope that's just a temporary glitch and not how it's going to work in the long run because this would open all sorts of problems and - dare I say - exploits.

I'm happy with the new details on payout. Bit annoying that after splitting my big Genesis hashlet into a big chunk and 5 x 10's I didn't get a payout for the big unit

The pictures were only showing 300-400 TH/s, and the miners looked like still being installed, so it could have been an early partial batch of this order or even a separate earlier order (perhaps 5 PH/s is not S3s, could be S4). The pictures were consistent with earlier pictures of power feeds being installed and the interior of that warehouse being furnished. I don't think these two things contradict each other, but it shows that putting together a 5 PH/s farm may take weeks if not months.

As for the difficulty, the flip side of that is the low BTC/USD rate. I'm sure many miners would prefer 10%+ diff growth and 600+ USD per coin unless they get free power.
