BYTEBALL GOOD.

HODL'N MY BALLS

Yes, it is necessary to keep bytes, they likely will be 1 million. Technology is not worse than the Waves, and it's all done by one person without special funding.

Considering that the crypto is listed in only one exchange, the results achieved so far demonstrate that there is real demand in the market, there are people interested in the technology.

A little more promotion could make things much better, but I believe that when large exchanges start listing the cryptocurrency, Byteball will be presented to a much larger number of people, among them great investors, of course.

Got my first 1 GByte today. I bought for 0.022 BTC. I think price will drop after next distribution round but after all GByte were distributed, price will surge.
Byteball is pretty stable compared to many other projects at this stage and it is very stable. That makes me believe it is a good investment.

Really today the price of GByte is really increasing so it means byteball is getting lot user base continuity in the markets.I see there is some good things happening in byteball coin just not like pump and dump, this should be happen every time so that many people keep an eye on this. It's better for byteball to list in some more exchanges so that big whales will trade this.

seing it only on a small random exchange with really questionable distribution and someone saying it cant be a p&d i would say we surely have a pump and dump here.
I think the method of distribution will always raise discussions, but there's probably not much to be done at this point, most of the suggestions I see would not make things better.

Price dumped hard today following the Bitcoin flash crash ($200 within a hour). That is almost 40% in fiat value. Trading volume also fell under $10k a day. I think the first hype after the distribution is over.

This is not the only problem. Many first round Byteball receivers sold their stake in order to participate with the earned Bitcoins on the second round to get another stake of Byteballs. I am pessimistic regarding the price until all Byteballs will be distributed.

The problems is this:

Round 1:

100.000 GB of max 1.000.000 GB distributed for 70.000 btc.

Following rounds:

900.000 GB rest will be distributed for 15.930.000 btc.

Something is very very very wrong.

I didn't even know that the difference in the first round vs the second was this huge.

This tread is for speculation not whining about distribution.

Distribution plays a huge role in price finding....

In a perfect world you would be right Cheesy Means, if every created Bitcoin so far would be linked with a Byteball address. But in the end, a great part of all existing Bitcoins will not be take part on the Byteball ICO.

It's a huge number, indeed, but an important aspect that you're probably missing is that you can use the same BTC balance to participate in several rounds.
There will be many rounds of distribution, more than initially scheduled. I believe it will be a long process, but this will allow more people to participate.

I don't like to see the currency so cheap in the market, but I'm thankful to be part of it. There is a lot to be done, would be nice to see more exchanges listing it. I think this may be a rare opportunity for investors. Probably one of the best coins of the year.

Thanks for the infos guys. Im still wondering why you are getting more then 20x less though....

The 62.5 MB per 1 BTC ratio is explained in the distribution section by:

Quote
The ratio 62.5 MB per 1 BTC is chosen so that the total money supply of bytes (1015) and the total number of BTC in circulation (16,000,000) are equivalent.

I just recently raised a small concern of mine about it here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17347717.

I saw a very large byteball trading price in my opinion. probably a lot of great whales play there. the selling price could be higher until the beginning of 2017
