The new features announced by Tony change everything. Still, there is more speculative value than anything else.
The community needs to mobilize to bring more users to try the wallet.

Byteball still has fee's and doesn't have the power of IOTA, I don't really see the benefit of holding them. If I want more DAG I prefer Raiblocks. Plus Byteball has a terrible name Cheesy

Buying here. I can not really understand why price is dumping so hard. Maybe this is still the airdrop selling pressure? Will buy every future dump, too.

I think Maybe cancellation airdrop too but is not main reason.
Now bitcoin is to the moon and a lot altcoins is dumping

Hi devs.
Airdrop GBYTE for hold not work anymore?
I not recived bytes in December

Airdrops are paused for the time being. The last one was November's, potentially the next one may happen on the day of the full moon of March. Here is Tony's post about it:

An update about future distribution plans.

So far, bytes were mainly distributed via airdrops to holders of BTC and Bytes, and a relatively small portion was distributed through the cashback program.  We started this free distribution with the purpose of getting the currency as wide spread as possible, and while the purpose stays the same, methods can change.  The airdrop method worked well to get the initial user base, but it also proved to be the least efficient in terms of user acquisition cost.

Over the next few months, we'll add more methods of free distribution.  One of them is already being developed, I expect it to be ready in the first half of December.

The new methods are designed to grow our user base faster than the money supply.

While the new methods are still untested, it is early to drop the airdrops.  That's why the next round of distribution to Bytes and BTC holders is tentatively planned for the full moon of March 2, 2018.  The rules are the same as in the previous round:

For every 16 BTC you receive 0.1 GB,
For every 1 GB you receive additional 0.1 GB,

and similar rules for blackbytes.

This round can be postponed or even canceled depending on performance of other distribution methods.

so stupid question - how much is 3,000,000 bytes worth? Not sure how to convert that into a price related to bitcoin.
That is 3MB or .003GB (now worth $0.90 at $300/GB)

I am really surprised the price keeps stable in the range of $220 to 270. I was expecting a dump after the announcement that the next distribution will not be before March 2018. That shows a relative strength of the Byteball price and that most weak hands are out of the race now.

The top was ~1.000 $ - relative to BTC/USD it would have been now close to 2000+ $.

This seems to be the bottom.

Tony, the main developer of Byteball, announced information about the next airdrop. Finally the next airdrop will be conducted on 2nd March 2018, so in more then four months from now. For every 16 linked Bitcoins you'll receive 0.1 GByte and for every 1 GByte you'll receive additional 0.1 GByte.

Is it possible that your bytes moved from the address you linked to an address that was not linked (because of transactions sending to change addresses). Now there is a feature for a single-address wallet to avoid this problem. You can check your address here and it will tell you what you should've received: https://byteball.fr/BBdistribution.php

Hey Baller, thanks again for your forthcoming stance and sorry for my late reaction (just been into a lot of stuff lately)! Yeah, that site you linkied confirms what I suspected, i.e. that my wallet address didn't receive anything although the bot confirmed that it got my address (and also that there's allegedly 0 Bytes on it). I only received bytes cuz u - thankfully! - receive them anyway if you hold some bytes (could be in an exchange as well).
So I'm still clueless...

When IOTA hype really starts this coin will go crazy. I own a lot of it, because I hold some BTC in December 2016 and received every drop since the beginning.

Supply is very low and dev / team is very good. Extremely undervalued tnagle coin imho.

I agree with you! Byteball will follow IOTA like Stellar follows Ripple Smiley It's just a bit quiet for now!
