Hi,

somebody is good at coding node?
I´m working on a neural network to better forecast the charts.

I need some help. We are two guys now testing these.

If you have no luck here: I just set up a forum to discuss both gekko stuff and these kind of things, you might have more luck there: https://forum.gekko.wizb.it/

really silent in the forum  Huh

I'm a node.js programmer about 5 years experience.

And I use gekko to do bot trading a few month.

If anyone want to exchange experience, or looking for cooperation,

whatever coding or strategy or gekko,

I appreciate to interflow our ideas.

below is my current strategy.
..........

That is pretty impressive . I am new to gekko and wondering if you willing to share your strategies here.

Not being better than the market when it's in a uptrend isn't too much of an issue in my opinion. But having a strategy that does +30 when the BTC is doing +60 and still gives you +30 when BTC is down is great.

Which is why I'd be happy to discuss strategy with howie50417.

On my side, it sort of works, i.e. I could install it and there's a GUI that shows me how much money I would loose if I were to let it invest for me Cheesy

Yea, same story for the default strategies. Mostly don't out perform bitcoins regular price moves. And I've yet to put together my own strategy...

Though with this down swing... The incentive is more tempting.

Same here.

What did you manage to do?

Here is a video explaining how to install on windows, meant for users not very experienced with commandlines / terminals.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R68IwVujju8

Finally managed to install it thanks to this video. Got plenty of errors and crashes as well, but that's normal on my machine  Grin Thank you! Can't wait to start doing some tests with it once I understand how it works  Smiley

Is there a way to use the Ichimoku method with this? Someone I know is designing an Ichimoku bot and is interested in doing tests with Gekko.

Any idea what I might have done wrong.  These are my settings

DEMA
short = 13
long = 19

[thresholds]
down = -1
up = 0.75

To me, it looks like I am buying low, and selling high, so what am I misunderstanding?

In the next version of Gekko you can (using limit orders), right now you would have to implement in your strategy (which is anything but realtime, but it works).
