My 7 card machine has been stable for a good couple hours now on 0.6 at Flypool using two instances. Four Hawaii cards on one, two Tahiti and one Pitcairn on the other. Huzzah!

Great  i wasn't and haven't been for a while i would rather use flypool but im gonna hold off and use what works for me .  just saying that might be why for some try a different pool, don't blame the miner any more , i mean you can but more then lily it's not the software miner any more, it was but not now .

this is three cards on coinmine.pl/zec/ there im able to turn on CPU cores and it doesn't drag down my GPU's .

AVG: 92.98/92.98 H/s i was getting on those three cards if i was lucky on flypool 67 to 70 and it wasn't all ways stable like now .

for those with lots of disconnects what pool are you miming at ? . try a different pool two are having issue right now or seem to be nicehash and flypool i went to another pool and no down time yet using Genoil's ZEC miner 6 and when i first started using that version i got major errors and disconnects til i changed pools . my speeds even got better .it's not the software miner now there may be bugs but the major disconnect problems seem to be fixed.

on my new pool im doing 200 sols on fly pool the best i did was 171 .

I think some of you should stop playing too much around and settle for maybe a few less S/s but better stability. Neither Genoil nor the pools are extremely stable at this point.

On my 4x 470s, the -k zec zec would crash the miner. I'm running without that parameter and get about 120-130S/s, but at least it runs stable. The more you try to tweak with this miner and pools, the less you're mining after all Smiley

That is right. For the time being, the miner and the pools are not very stable. So it is better to get some coins now.

agree, I finally give up

putting amd driver files in the genoil folder doesn't do the trick for me

so I just make sure it's stable mining @ whatever speed I can get out of these old 7950/7970s

Erase your old kernel BIN and if you are using WIndows 7 use the Windows 7 AMD install package not Windows 10.

It worked on all my rigs.

Best I can do with 290 is @ 1050/1500 and using -k zec zec get 30SOL/S.

I am not sure about 290, but for my R9 390, I can get that hash rate with 1050/900 MHz. The memory speed is not so important.

Zec very unstable mining begins and then loses speed 5x280x 110 sols after some time is horrible 20sols

Maybe it is hitting the thermal throttling. Although I think it uses lot less energy than ETH miniing.

it does not use much energy here eth stable mining is mining for eth days without any problem

I just tried four threads (-k zec zec zec zec) for the first time and I get 34-37 sols as against 24 - 27 without -k on my RX 480.

Mine crashes doing that, not sure why.

2 x rx 480.

Code:
genoil.exe -c stratum.zcash.nicehash.com:3357 -u Myzcashaddress -p x -w 64 -P 0 -k zec zec zec zec

i need to ask and i don't know or wouldn't ask, who mining at 643,775.802 sols and making 148 sec = 208 btc a day  if it was BTc i would know are they renting or is there big crops like bitmain using GPU now  , just wondering. i really don't  care because it's fair game gpu mining they can't stop it unless nvidia and AMD get like bitmain which won't happen .

7950/280/280X with Hynix Memmory seem to be preforming much better and more stable. Comparing it to Elpida memory, GPU usage goes 0-100 like a heartbeat, and on Hynix memory cards GPU usage is at stable ~80%

AND/OR it is a mix of memory type and driver version.

Genoil you should add an option to run some cards with zec and some with zec zec zec

My cards have Hynix memory but the zec zec makes them slower  Angry

Thank you for the great work your doing. Sent you a little donation in BTC.

280x = 27ish - 32ish @ 1150/1500mem
290x = 23ish - 29ish @ 1000/1125mem -75coremV modded roms
Nano = 14ish - 21ish @ 900/300mem modded rom
7990 = 11ish - 17ish @ 1050/1500 on each core

Everything is WAY cooler than running ETH.
Currently V0.5 is more stable then 0.6 except with the Nano's.

Keep up the great work

um u should have over 30+ on 290x run mem at 1500 also your 7990 is running slower than your 280x a 7990 should be 2x that 280x

1500 mem? You sure it can overclock that high when the stock speed is 1250?

Whats your core/mem and what drivers are you using?

I've been trying to get the 290x to preform better but nothing really is helping yet. I did check the Kill-a-watt last night and the unit at the wall was using 930 watts. I wont be able to run 1500 mem on them because of the modded ROM. They are tuned to run low power.
The 7990 also should be rocking but it's not liking it. It is will the nano rig, that may have something to do with it as well. Might also be the dual GPU issue.
I had to go back to V.5 for the nano's and 7990. So at the moment everything is running V.5 and on 15.12 or testing on the 16.10.3 hot fix(no difference with 16 and v.6) with Win 10.

I flipped the switch on the 290 to the stock bios and running at 1050/1500 uses less power than ETH mining but the speed is only 29Sol/s
